The location in Germantown is the mecca for yarn, we were like kids in a candy store! Excited, we got to the checkout where we met Latoya, whose personality was bigger than the store! Overall it was a great experience.

Customer service is so-so. I asked about macrame yarn, the lady told me they didnt carry that at her location. I did find it myself however, and her only response was cool!

I think everyone has a sewing assignment on the weekends. The fabric department is pretty busy and so far, these last couple of months, I have to wait in a long line to have fabric cut.

I guess everyone is short staffed but I feel if there is a manger on duty they should assist there employees to give good customer service you should not have to wait for some assistance when there is a line in the store

I love this place but over the past few months I have stopped coming here as much. The prices have gone up and the sales have been horrible compared to before COVID. You can tell they have and are still capitalizing on people sewing masks!

I love this store! Every time I go there, the employees are always extremely nice and all so helpful. The store itself, is very neat and clean. Most things (if you are a crafty person) are very easy to find in the store. They have many selections on different fabrics, crafting tools and materials, as well as equipment needed to craft or just simply to decorate your home! They also offer classes on how to sew, decorate, bake, and etc.

I live this store. Im never disappointed with the sales they have. Great Christmas bargains right now.

The process are usually high but the after Thanksgiving sale had ribbon at buy 1 get 3 free making it more reasonable

Waited for fabric cutting while one associate was working with a customer and the other took her time with fabric on the counter and acted as if I wasnt there. The one working with another customer asked her partner to help me...she just kept doing her own thing. Didnt want the business I suppose. Not sure Ill go back. Plenty of fabric elsewhere.

This is usually my go-to store, and this review is not so much about the store itself, but a criticism about how things are being run from above them, likely. I have been waiting three days on a curbside order. It would be good to have a notice on the website that it will be that long, at least, but this seems like its the result of a larger problem. I called to ask how long it usually takes, and they said three days because theyre understaffed, which is understandable, but makes me wonder if Joann corporate is not supporting their stores and employees during this time. If they were supported, they shouldnt be three days behind on curbside order when thats all the should be doing during a pandemic, especially since their hours have been reduced. Joann corporate: take care of your employees. Maybe let them work on curbside orders while the store is closed to customers, so they can accumulate more paid hours while staying safe, and satisfying their customers.

So happy to find an electric car to use while shopping! I am a handicap senior and sew a lot. The cart was very helpful. Also the clerk who cut my fabric was very pleasant in finding and cutting. The cashier was quick and efficient. Very nice shopping experience overall.

I love Joanns!! This is a regular stop for me. I wish they were less expensive on home decor, but with a coupon its reasonable. The app is worth the download just for the coupons. The staff is always friendly and their selection of fabric is amazing.

As a crafter I love Joanns. It is a smaller store but still full of fabrics and other supplies. I like not having to walk a mile to find what I need.

My favorite place in the world. I enjoy walking up and down the aisles, looking for my next adventure. Staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. This is my duck off spot.

My daughter is getting married and we were looking for fabric to use as an overlay on the tables. We found a beautiful purple lace and a solid purple fabric, but there was not enough in the store. Rebekah was SO helpful! She special ordered the solid fabric, and called individual stores until she found enough of the lace for the 28 overlays we needed. Customer service is rare these days and she went so far above what you normally find in retail now. She was amazing! We are so happy and I highly recommend Joann’s in Southaven. And Rebekah!! Love her!!

Better than the one in Germantown, TN, but they were out of some very basic things. Like white therad! Seriously??

I called earlier to see if this location was allowing people to come inside the store. They advised me that they close at 5. I needed to go in because I sed a curbside licknup and had to wait 4 days to pick up the order. When I arrived at 4:50. I was advised that the cut off time is 4:45 by Verna the manager. She advised me that I cannot come in because they were closed. Another person walked up to speak with a manager and advised that someone hung up on her 3 times and she drove 30 minute her here. I was asking and pleading but Verna was rude! I am very surprised at this and told her how her employees aremiainforming people!!! She didn’t try to accolade me or anything and it wasn’t 5pm

Placed an online order on Sunday and was told there was a 3 day wait. I figured some of my items might be substituted for others because of demand but today (4 days later) they CANCELLED my ENTIRE ORDER and notified me by email. Why let me place the order and get excited about my project when you obviously can’t meet your customer’s demands??!?! Very disappointed in their business and their customer service.

I was interested in finding a certain color ribbon, however, with the 20 shades of pink, there were one melon. I’m giving 4 stars because of the customer service. The cashier was super funny!

5/4/2020 - current store hours, M-Sa are 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. (IDK Sunday hours). No new customers allowed in the store after 4:30 pm per management unless picking up an online order.

The lines were long and only one cashier, she was patient and very efficient at her job.
