Immediately after my purchase all the customer service skills went out of the window! I was in need of a repair immediately. Because it was in my home over the weekend (past 3 days) I could not receive a refund for the furniture that was already falling apart so they scheduled a repair for a week later from 3pm - 5pm. The repair guy called at 3:40p.m. I missed the call. Immediately returned the call and couldnt get anyone to answer until 4:01p.m. and was told I have to reschedule because he was at home, he a contractor, he doesnt work Royal and they are closed. It still isnt 5:00 p.m.

Linda was amazing.The last time I came no one said hi or anything. I walked around with no acknowledgement from the staff. This time I came in and it was different. Linda looked up and spoke even while with a customer and advised she would be with me. I waited on her because of that. Mallory was super nice also.

My brother and I visited this location. We met the most awesome sales person name Karen. She was so patient and helpful. We were leaving to check out other stores but, after our time with spent with this beautiful soul, Ms Karen, we made a decision to purchase from Royal. I purchased the recliner sofa  # the Southaven store and it was delivered 7/16/21.  We were so happy how beautiful it look,.   We went back into the store on 7/18 and paid cash for the matching chair and pick it up ourselves.  Later we sat on the sofa in the mid seat, it sound like the spring is broke and the mid seat sinks down in the back.  We have never experience anything like this.  We want you to give us a new sofa.  We believe you sold us a use or damaged sofa.  Upset Angry and MadSent via the Samsung Galaxy S9+, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

I purchased a sectional here. It was damaged upon delivery 😢 and I was told I had to pay to replace it because it was outside some time to report it. I have called several people before now and they never assisted me. I politely asked the company lets discontinue working together since they refuse to right their wrongs and I was told they changed their policies due to Covid. It goes without saying that this company failed to live up to their potential. I was really disappointed to find out that this store and company was represented in such a poor way. This will be my final time doing business with this company. I am deeply troubled that no one at customer service offered a reasonably solution but only requested me to pay more, when they are already getting over $1,500. My lesson is learned! Please check everything right away or you will loose in the end due to someone elses fault. Hopefully they can improve their services.

We ordered a living room set in January for a late February delivery. Once the delivery day came, only the recliner was ready to deliver. Instead of owning up to it and contacting us, they tried to pass off the showroom model as the furniture we ordered. Thankfully it was too broken for them to go through with it. Still waiting on the couch and loveseat.

Do not under any circumstances buy anything from them at all! It will fall apart within 6 months no matter what it is! They will give you a run around for several months on making a warranty claim only to deny your claim no matter what the cause was! The customer service is absolutely terrible, the quality of the furniture is absolutely terrible, which is why they dont stand behind the product that they sell because it would bankrupt them if they actually honored their warranty! Had them first say it was caused by pet damage even though it is very clearly not. I actually physically took it to the store and had the manager tell me well it looks like someone sat on your Ottoman so they definitely arent going to cover that either so clearly the furniture that they sell is solely for looks and not meant to actually be used in anyway!If it was possible to give zero stars I would, they definitely dont deserve the one star rating!

Tiffany at Southaven Location was the best customer service my family has had. I wanted to take a minute and compliment her on multitasking with phones ringing girl working beside her stayed on phone laughing and when Tiffany gave her our paperwork to pay .... she said here you go Tiffany and Tiffany made no pause she just slid over and completed our payment. She was calm and professional with a lot of people asking questions and most of us weren’t happy because of back order on mostly fabric couches. She made a follow up call to make sure we were happy and of course we are because of all her help. She was a pleasure to be around. She needs to be recognized for her skills and her calmness in speaking with customers. Thank you Tiffany!

Sold me a sectional sofa with a matching ottoman March 2020, the ottoman boards underneath began falling apart around May 2020 Although my furniture is paid in full plus I bought the 4year warranty, their redirecting my calls and not answering. That ottoman was $795.00.If I owed on my furniture they would be calling constantly to receive their money but they wont even honor their 4year warranty, nor return my calls. I even called the company on my receipt and they said its too early for the ottoman to be falling part so its up to Royal Furniture to honor my request.My sectional sofa is still like new but the ottoman is what making my set look like trash at $795.UPDATE: I have emailed with pictures and receipt and STILL no solution.I was asked what the problem was and that was it. Do I need to add another review with the pics of my Ottoman also?THIS IS HORRIBLE BUISNESS! Dont reply to the Google ratings if youre not going to offer any kind of solution to an almost $800 problem!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been looking for a bedroom set and I saw one I liked online but of course I wanted to see it in person so I went to the store and show the associate (I think his name was Jerry) the picture and he took me right to it and I fell in love with it!!!! It just got delivered today and it did not take them no time and I really like the fact that the delivery guys told me where I wanted the dresser was wobbly because the floor is not even so they wound up moving it and it worked out perfect. Im so happy with my new bedroom set ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Thought this was a great place to shop at. I’ve been to many furniture Places, but this one was by far my worst experience to date. The sale associate Sabrina Is the worst person do deal with. She is lacking Communication skills, people skill, etc. placed my order with her on August 3 and it’s now August 13. I was told it would be delivered that following Thursday, but it was not. A lady name Linda call me and said my reference needed to be verified. So she verified them, and said your sales person didn’t inform you this had to be done . I said no. (Which she did not tell me) Linda gave me the number to the warehouse, so I called and they informed me that my order was never placed. The gave no record of it. So they told me to call my sales person. So I sent her a text and she said it will be delivered On the 13 which is today. So around 10 today I call the warehouse and asked was it a delivery for me today. She said it’s not for today, but we received the order, and the foot bench we do not have. I said when would the person that’s buying this would be inform of this. She said my sales person should have told me. So I went to royal and canceled my order. No one there even apologized. Ms Sabrina didn’t even speak. Just pointed to my paperwork and pointed at me and said refund. This was by far the most unprofessional Place of suppose to be business I’ve ever been to!

Most unprofessional people. Went in to pay on an account and there were 2 ladies sitting at the desk. One lady was on the phone and the other lady was just sitting there. The one who was just there asked what I needed and I told her I wanted to pay on my account. She told me to wait for the lady who was on the phone to take my payment. The lady who was on the phone was talking to her mother, nothing of an emergency but just having conversation like she wasnt at WORK. I stood there for 10 minutes. Also she had her child at work running around like there were no customers around. The lady finished on the phone and got up to get ready to leave, so the lady who wasnt doing anything moved to the other ladys computer to take my payment. Good customer service is very important...

I received a large payoff from my insurance company, so excited to spend it all at Royal Furniture in Southaven, went to replace an entire house full of furniture, the Salesperson was so rude, he acted as if I wasnt even there, no one asked if I needed any assistance they walked past me several times not even a smile. So I walked out and took my business to Ashley Furniture, where I was greeted and treated with kindness and respect, I will never shop at Royal Furniture again.

We went in Saturday to buy a dining room set. There was at least 4 if not five salesmen either walking around, one was eating at his desk, not one person ask to help us. We walked around twice. I even went up to front to get an ad. Two salesmen standing there talking to each other. On our way out, I did see one saleslady helping a couple at her desk. I told the couple I am glad they had someone to help them. We went across the street and bought a dining set.

They seem to have better deals than the other furniture stores locally and they offer free pickup from their main warehouse which is only 15 minutes away from the store in southaven. The staff are nice and are quick to get you sorted out with pay and get when ready. Relatively better selection as whole sets with many items.

This was the most regrettable experience that I have had with this furniture store. Our salesman Benjamin Campbell half-assed did his job and had us believing that our furniture had been scheduled for delivery. This was not the case at all. He did not follow through with the credit department to make sure he had all of the information needed to even schedule the delivery. My wife and I were sitting around waiting on a phone call from the delivery people and when it got 10:30 am we decided to call the store. They informed us that we had to pay a certain amount which we paid and the credit department needed more income info., which we assumed that he had given them. This was not the case. This man screwed us over “Royally”; pun intended. There was no indication that we had paid any money at all. We were furious! Speaking to the store manager we understood that we were not the only customers that this was done too. I recommended that they should terminate this man because of his callous and poor salesmanship. I will not be buying anything from this store again!

I bought two recliners. These recliners had wooden arms. When we took them out of the box, some scratches were on the arms of one of the chairs. We contacted the store to see what could be done. They sent someone out to look at the scratches. Then they sent another person out to look at the scratches. We never did get the scratches taken care of. It would have been so simple for them to send someone with the top half of the chair and just replace. And by-the-way, we paid cash and got the insurance for repairs. I will never by from Royal Furniture again!!!!!!

Roayl Furniture in Southaven and sales associate Mike, were recommended to me for buying some pieces to furnish my mothers studio apartment in her assisted living facility. Mike was helpful, but not pushy, patient with all my questions, and he gave me some good deals on the loveseat, dresser, and nightstand that I purchased. My house burned and I had just purchased a $4000 living room set about 3 months prior. I also purchased the insurance that the saleslady told me would cover in situations like this. Only to find out when trying to process my claim that my furniture wasnt covered under the insurance. I called my saleslady to get some understanding and even she couldnt explain why. She said she would talk to her boss to see what they could do. Of course when she called back the manager said there was nothing he could do. I think it had a lot to do with the furniture being financed through Synchrony Bank instead of Royal because that was first question the manager asked. Royal had already been paid so it was no lost to them if I chose not to pay for it. The fact that I was told this misleading and false info during my purchasing agreement didnt set well with me. The least they could do was replace it but they had zero remorse!!

Purchased a recliner from this store. Still under warranty when footrest tore and couple of other things wrong. Called and they sent someone to take pictures and was told would receive parts to fix the chair in a couple weeks. It has been two months and chair still not repaired. Customer service does not answer phone or return calls. Have had to speak to manager who talks to customer service and he tells me they are working on it. So BEWARE if something happens. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Grandbaby Bunk Bed hardware was missing. Royal gets a 1 star because the delivery explain they had 8 deliveries an would swing back with missing parts to put the bed together. I have paid Royal but now I must chase them to finish doing their job plus, Deliveries closed on Mondays. Wow

My mother and I walked in with intentions on buying furniture for our new living room. Upon entering the store, instead of being properly greeted or offered assistance, we were met with rude stares and side eyes. My mother walked past a desk with two women who seemed to be receptionist of sorts. Instead of acknowledging her need of assistance, they just continued to eat their food and go about their business. I, soon after, walked past the two ladies and said hello. They both proceeded to stare at me and continue their conversation as if i were transparent. We walked around for a while, giving the staff ample opportunity to approach us. Then my mom decided it was time to leave. It’s poor customer service like this that drives consumers from your place of business. We were very disappointed with the way we were treated.
