We were referred to C & E Appliance by Square Trade. Our experience was great! Our dishwasher needed a bunch of parts. They were ordered and shipped very quickly. Barbara in the office was an absolute pleasure to speak with and schedule our service visits. Jim, our technician, was knowledge, friendly, and thorough. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received! Our dishwasher is up and running and we are so very thankful. C & E Appliance did a great job!

8/13/21 My refrigerator is repaired! Jim is excellent, very experienced and efficient. Barbara, in the office, called when they received the condenser and she was pretty sure they would receive the compressor the next day so she “penciled me in” on the schedule for Friday. I should have read the reviews before i considered getting my appliance repaired.They were given damaged parts to replace and spent an hour trying to fix it. I lost 300USD, left with a broken appliance at home. I have been asked to pay for damaged parts they received and spent hours trying to figure out the issue. Worst Kitchen aid service in my opinion. Goodbye Kitchen aid, not ordering your appliance anymore.

Ray came to our house to repair a burner on our stove. He did the repair and told us stories. He is a great man. I tried to give him a tip and he would not take it.I recommend that if you call C &E ask for Ray. He is the best.

Mike came today to service our Whirlpool fridge. He did a great job getting rid of an annoying buzz in the fridge, even vacuumed out the entire back to find the noise. He answered all our questions and said if the noise returns, call him on his cell and he will drive right back. I would definitely recommend C&E Appliance and especially Mike. Mary Hooke

Whirlpool suggested using C&E for warranty work. They came to inspect the refrigerator and said it needed a part that they had to order. They said one week, but it took two. When it came in, the only time block available was 12:00-3:00. I said I would have to leave at 2:00 and the dispatch said that should be fine, the repairman will call that morning to confirm. I left work early, defrosted the fridge. Never got a phone call. At 1:30, I called & left a message with their dispatch. I left at 2:00. They called at 2:10 and said the repairman is on the way. I said I was out. I thought I could be home in 20 minutes and asked if the repairman could wait. They called him and confirmed. It took me 30 minutes to get home and he was gone - no calls. I called back and left multiple messages to reschedule and never got a reply. It has been four days... Avoid this company. Very unprofessional.Follow up! They called a few days later to reschedule. In the meantime, I had someone else look at it, and it ended up being a simple seal leak - and the part was not even needed. Needless to say, I did not reschedule...

Had Jim come in to do an annual maintainance of my washer and dryer (through my Sears plan). He notified me prior for his arrival time, was very knowledgable, and gave welcomed advice. Added bonus: Great with dogs! Barbara in the office was a pleasure to schedule with.

Great experience! Barbara is incredible! So knowledgeable and helpful. Jim knows appliances inside and out. He’s reliable and trustworthy. We have a very protective dog who is always on guard, but she welcomed Jim at first sight! No better test in my book. A wonderful family business that we’ll use and recommended again and again! Awful company; 6 weeks later and no repair still on my dishwasher, because they order all the possible parts possible to avoid coming out more than once because GeekSquad only pays them a flat rate for the fix.Had another company come out today and it was a simple 10 minute fix.After the initial appointment was rescheduled because they only come to my “area on Tuesdays”, they rescheduled 3 times because a part that was delivered from their supplier was not sent and told me I’d need to take it up with their supplier.I asked the company to come out to check out just to confirm if they really did need all the extra parts because the diagnosis was just based on what I had told them over the phone, and was told that if they did, and if they did need to order any other parts, they wouldn’t and would close the ticket to make sure they got paid from BestBuy.Lost the whole order from BeatBuy & any possible future use for general service appliance.Rude customer service in general. Reported them to BestBuy as well.

Great experience from start to finish. Kim in the office was quick to help me get my repair covered under warranty. Both technicians, Mike who diagnosed the issue and Kevin who came back to do the repair, were friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. They were even willing to work with me on scheduling to minimize the amount of time I missed work. Great company.

Was referred by Electrolux to C & E for a warranty repair on my washing machine. Initially was a little concerned because of their overall review rating. However, I was pleasantly surprised from start to finish. Sarah in the office kept me apprised of every stage from the confirmation of the initial appointment to the status of the ordered part. Justin, the technician, was professional, neat and adhered to recommended protocols for Covid 19.

Ray was one of, if not the best technician/repairman I’ve encountered. He was kind, courteous and just gracious. He repaired the dryer properly. I had good experiences with customer service as well. Overall great!

Jim came to service my Electrolux dryer. I have been having issues with the laundry balling up and not drying properly and the lint sensor acting up and giving false readings. While all of these are all manufacturing issues with the Electrolux dryer itself, Jim was very helpful in providing some alternative solutions to help with problems I was having as well as useful tips for normal washing machine /dryer usage. He was very knowledgable about the machines themselves, and even cleaned out the filter compartment of the dryer and detergent compartment of the washing machine. I would highly recommend his service!

Hired C&E to help fix our professional fridge. They installed a new gasket but said the ice maker could no longer be fixed. Not terribly impressed by that. Whirlpool Dryer now no longer heating so I called for an appointment. Promised a call back in 24hrs. Didnt hear back until I called three days later. Promised a call back same day with appointment time. No call back. How do these people stay in business? Hired a different company who responded immediately. Dont waste your time with these folks.

4/30/18 This is the 3rd time I have used their service. Each time they have been courteous, professional and gotten the job done. They do answer the phone during business hours, they do let you know if they need to cancel or will arrive at a different time and they have gone out of their way to save me money by checking on warranties or advising me when there are known problems with appliances and ways to avoid them. I will gladly use them again in the future.

Probably the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. These technicians promised to come to my house at specific times on at least 4 different occasions. They promised to be here again today at 8am and never showed up. They promised to be here again at 6:45 and again never showed up. Unfortunately, my washer is under warranty by Home Depot and I have no other options. The communication at the place is awful and despite several attempts rather still haven’t fixed my washer. Worst company I have ever worked with in my life.

These people are so rude I highly recommend you look elsewhere to take your business ! I am a business owner of 12 years and also my husband owns several businesses I would never dream of talking or treating a client the way this company did I cannot believe how they spoke to me treated me on the phone and hung up on me when I questioned all these charges and clearly said I will not pay that much cancel my part order!what they charged me for a half hour service call and had the audacity to charge another service call second time they were going to come out to fix the Washer and dryer! Over 550$ for a hose and a heating element (including labor and service charges ) is absurd! I just used them a week before to repair my washer at work (under warranty) but of course still paid the service charge to diagnose (no problem ) have used many companies and wanted them at my home Bc they were local. But at that price and how rudely I was treated By the woman at the Front and also when asked to speak with the owner she was even worse. This place does not know how to treat customers Unreal!

My microwave wasnt working correctly so the manufacturer gave me a few service providers to choose from for service. I chose C&E because they are relatively close. The appointment was made for today. I received a message yesterday advising that a technician would be here b/t 9 am and 12 pm. I was asked to call back to confirm and make payment arrangements (product out of warranty). When I got home from work yesterday, I called (4:06 pm) and got a message that the office closes at 4. I left a message confirming that Id be at home today. When 12:30 rolled around today and no one had showed up or called, I contacted C&E and had to leave a message. At around 2:30, I called again since I hadnt gotten a call back and no technician had appeared. I left another message. A little after 3:00, I decided to contact the manufacturer. They contacted C&E who advised they had cancelled my appointment because I hadnt made payment arrangements. Really? If nothing else, I can see from the reviews others posted that my experience with C&E is not unique. I should have researched them before scheduling my appointment. Pretty disappointing.

I completely agree with these reviews. I rarely complain, but I have to in this case in hopes of saving some poor family from having to deal with this company.I had to use C & E Appliance because my Whirlpool dishwasher was under warranty. I booked a service appointment on Whirlpools website for a Monday between 12 & 4pm and confirmed it with a Whirlpool rep that same day over the phone to be safe.Sunday night I got a call from a service manager at C & E who asked me about the problem and requested that I do some things on the dishwasher to help him troubleshoot. I answered the questions he asked as best as I could and told him that I did all the things the manual and Whirlpool rep asked me to and Whirlpool determined that I needed a service call. He said that he would like to avoid sending a tech out two times if possible. I told him that I was with my family and that he would have to come out and diagnose the problem himself and if he didnt have the part on the truck that was just a part of doing business.Take a second and think about this. Theyre calling me on Sunday at dinner time and asking me to do their job for them so they can maybe not have to come to my home twice if it needs a part. What balls on these people.So the next day they call me at 10:00 am and told me that they would be able to make it out to my home. They tried to tell me that the service manager told me that it may be difficult to get out there until later in the evening. I told them that that was NOT what he said. He agreed to come in the 12-4 window. So the service manager was bullshitting the office people or the office people were bullshitting me.I told them that that was unacceptable. My wife had arranged her day so that she could be home for the appointment and to cancel two hours before the start of the appointment window was something you just dont do. Then they tried to blame it on Whirlpool for booking them. I told them that that was a lie, because they provide Whirlpool with booking appointment windows and Whirlpool just assigns them.Horrible business practices, horrible service. Avoid these people like the plague on a ten foot turd.

We were scheduled for service yesterday took the day off they never showed or called. Appt was between 1pm thru 5pm. At 10 am some showed up in the drive way they got out their car looked around by the time we got to the door they drove off. They never came up the walk path to the door. If I could they would get no stars.

The WORST!!!!! 3 Weeks today waiting for a no cool call between Lowe s and this so called Company. Waited all this time and finally someone comes out today and they ordered the wrong part. Beyond Disgusted!!! Terrible office left message after message and finally had to go to Lowes and even with an extended warranty that is a joke. When you hire a company to do your subcontractor work they represent you. So I guess Lowes does not care who represents them.. Buyer Beware!!!

They are awful and very, very slow. They have a contract with Buzzaid (great place to buy), so I have to work with them to repair my dishwasher. There have been issues from the beginning - May 2017 - with lousy installation. It has not worked properly since then. When I called Vance at Buzzaid, they lied to him and said they had just been out. Nope. Now they wont answer my calls. Chris, who answers the phones, told me she put me on very low priority. I just want the thing to work.

They have been out three times to fix our washing machine and each time the tech breaks another piece and then we have schedule another week out to have them fix the part they broke the last time. The operators are also extremely rude. Not just one either. I have spoken to several and it seems to be a pretty consistent theme.

Horrible. Made to work with these people through Lowes. Could contact me by email and phone to confirm the appointment, but evidently not when they changed it. Took the day off, cleaned out the fridge, defrosted it and waited all day for no one. No one answers their phones all day and all voicemail is full so you cant leave a message. Only explanation I got was I dont need to hear this... and We tried to call. They called once and left no message and no email about the change of appointment either. Will see if they even show to their changed appointment that only they knew about, and if they do show, Ill be lucky to have a working fridge from what I can tell. If you dont have to waste your efforts on this company, then dont; they dont want to waste any effort on you either.

Totally incompetent. Crazy tech. This outfit was just hired by Sears to do work on their Appliance Warranties. I made an appointment with Sears. On the date I get a phone call from tech, he could not operate the GPS and was unable to punch in the address I gave him. AND I SPELLED EVERY WORD. The guy comes by and wants to order parts before examining the machine. What? Then he spends the next half hour talking about his life. Wow, I just need the machine fixed I am not running a mental therapy service here.

These guys are absolutely horrible to deal with. Youre lucky if someone answers the phone within fifteen minutes of constantly pushing buttons to get to a person. Techs will not arrive for appointments and there is no truthful answer as to why. I wish Whirlpool would change repair companies because it has been months dealing with them and no progress at all.

Absolutely abysmal service. came out to my house 3 times just to tell me that I needed a 500 dollar part. then, someone came to install it that smelled of alcohol. said he needed a part and would call me the next day. it has now been 3 weeks, and despite calling them over a dozen times, I cannot get anyone to ever answer the phone or return my calls. Absolutely horrible. Avoid this place like the plague!

They were called by Lowes to come fix our refrigerator, they gave us a 1-5pm window. I waited all day for them, they never showed up. Finally, around 545 pm they called my fiancé cell phone and said they were busy and lost track of time. I said so in that four hour window you couldnt call and say hey were running late, my fiancé took the phone and was telling them not to come to our home, their service man got really rude and kept calling my fiance and maam, when he is indeed a sir. MY fiancé hung up on them and they called back and left a nasty voicemail. I called Lowes and they put me to Frigidaire, who assured me I wouldnt have to deal with them again, but sure enough I get a phone call from an extremely rude lady, who could barely speak english, telling me I was a liar, and that it never happened, to which I responded with, well we still have the voicemail. She pretty much told me to go f*** myself, in nicer terms, and that I was a liar, I hung up on her, all I can say to her is I hope her life is a pleasant as she is to people. Still 4 weeks later, my fridge is still broke, because this company is horrible. In all honesty, they should be closed down.

Waiting for call back after repair ticket was issued from Samsung, called the number Samsung provided, left message, two days later still no call back, call the main number and no answer, no answering machine. Called Samsung back to change repair company. If they cannot call back or answer their phones, I do not want them touching my appliance!So glad I looked this company up before they contacted me.

This is a private house in a residential area. They are not a real business. When you call them no one ever answers the phone. It makes me really question Loews and Samsung for using them as authorized repair. They are the worst. I guess Ill stick to Home Depot.

Poor response. It is quite difficult to reach them on the phone number given. everytime goes to voicemail and no one returns call promptly. Even thogh the posted office hours are 9 AM-4 PM from Monday to Thursday, Hardly could get somebody when calling at 9:15 AM.

If you can avoid using this company, do so by all means. Horrible customer service. I waited a week to call about the status of a repair and they hadnt even ordered the part yet. Also they made a promise to Whirlpool that they would fix my washer the same day the part arrived, but when I called them I was told they couldnt schedule an appointment for a couple of days.
