The new owner Nora and her husband are an absolute delight!!! She is such a sweet, patient, & kind lady. I always dreaded going to this store b/c of the previous owners but these new owners are absolutely amazing! 👍🏼 Wish I could give them more than 5 stars! It’s safe to go back to this store now that it’s under new ownership! 🤣

I was so pleased with THE NEW OWNER! Once I walked in to do Amazon return and 2 shipments, they welcomed me and were too polite. For Amazon return was to easy [1,2,3 steps) and even they helped me to chose the best shipping method for these 2 packages.I left the store happy with this experience.I really recommend this store, gave it another chance if you tried them before with previous owner.

If I could leave zero reviews I would. DO NOT use this store to fax any information. Last week I was in CT because my mother in law is ill (I live in TX). I had to fax medical documents that included all of her personal information to a doctor. They took my 21 pages and faxed them to some random fax in Colorado...when I realized the error I called and was told it was my fault because I didnt check the number on my confirmation sheet before I left the store...um...the confirmation sheet prints AFTER the fax is sent...then the man who faxed them told me I gave him that number because he would never have known to fax it to that number...no, when I was in the store with the fax I pointed to the fax number on the cover sheet (you know, the number right by the words TO:) that I provided when he asked me where to send the fax (clearly he did not understand how to read a fax cover sheet). He read the number back to me and off he went sending my mother in laws private information to who knows where . They are refusing to help me in any way shape or form, are blaming me saying I gave them the wrong number, and are refusing to return the $45 it cost to fax 21 sheets. Meanwhile, my mother in laws private information is out there for whomever received it to do with whatever they choose. If they cant follow fax instructions I can only imagine what they will do with packages...just dont do it!

I popped in bright and early this morning to drop off two pre-paid returns. I was pleasantly surprised to discover welcoming, delightful and helpful new owners. They’re a professional and upbeat husband/wife team who will no doubt have much success based on how I was treated . Drop in and meet them for your self! BTW their store is now open 7 days a week.

We needed to get some papers notarized. This UPS is under new management since July. Emad and his wife were so helpful, patient and kind. We appreciated their efficiency, the way they treated the customers and we wish them well with their new store.

The new management are extremely helpful and professional. We realized the difference between the previous owner and current owner once we entered the store. The new owner and his wife are there all the time to make sure that the customers are satisfied with the service.

Love the new owners, they have new hours and opened 7 days a week! I’ve gone in there twice and my experience was nothing like my past experiences. They were very pleasant and they greet their customers with a smile. It was so nice chatting with them today, I will definitely be back.

They did not do a service they were paid for. I came in with a label and a package and they did not want to pack it. They saw that it was going to be a lot of work and did not want to figure it out and do it. Unbelievable. A huge waste of time. Avoid these people at all costs. Avoid this store at all costs. They dont follow through with their own contracts. A complete disgrace.

Don’t leave the door open or they will complain about letting out the air when there’s a line to the door and you’re just trying to keep everyone comfortable by social distancing. They could not be NICER!!Look, I live in Newtown and the store there is on dilettante time for sure: not opened on Sat or Sun, only opens at noon Mon thru Fri.It is TOTALLY worth it to drive here to drop off an Amazon return, or whatever. Great UPS Store, with courteous and respectful people behind the counter. I visit this location weekly for business. Not sure why there are negative reviews about them. Understand carriers are the busiest they have ever been. I’d be a little annoyed too if someone walked in with an Amazon return and had no idea how a simple return works. Amazon always gives you a scannable code or label. Anyway, A+ for this location and the people who work there.

I have visited this UPS location before and the previous owners lacked any quality customer service. I stopped by today to drop off a package to be shipped. I didn’t realize they closed at 3, however I had the pleasure to meet the new owner who allowed me to come in and was glad to take my package. The new owners are obviously dedicated to their clientele.

This is by far the WORST UPS store I have ever had an experience with. When they arent closing 5 minutes early with ZERO notification, their customer service is also appalling. Every single interaction I have had with an employee has been short, negative and rude. It is so disappointing to interact with a store that has no value in customer service or professionalism. UPS needs to do better for their customers with ensuring that all their stores provide the same hours and help to their guests.

I normally use this store to ship to extended family and other people that I cannot reach normally, it was a regular experience. I was delighted to see a new management at this establishment, they were extremely friendly and it was very easy to ship packages, simple and not a hassle whatsoever.

This store must have the most disrespectful and inconsiderate employees of any store I have frequented. I am presently wearing a knee brace and I bring a box in that needs a piece of tape approximately 8” long to seal the box and they tell me I would have to buy a roll of tape. I find this to be bad business and they have lost an entire family’s business. They might not care at the moment, but the bad reviews will add up.

I wanted to give zero stars to reflect how I was treated when I visited this store today to return an some stools I ordered on Amazon. Paul, the store employee, was very discourteous and directed his anger at Amazon toward me. He watched me carry four boxes in and then sarcastically and rudely stated I hope you have labels for all of those boxes. Ultimately, I called the UPS store in Torrington. A friendly and helpful employee provided me with the information I needed to make the return.

Just went to pick up a package that has been taking over a month to get to me. I had it redirected here since I knew Id be in town this week. I came in to pick it up and the guys said, $5...when the shipping company said I was all.l set! I said, WHAT!? and they quickly said, never mind! Have a great day! The man who worked there was incredibly rude--probably the rudest I have ever experienced from a business. I went back inside and spoke to another staff guy who said he was sorry and he would take care of it. The rude guy never came back out. There needs to be some accountability here UPS.

I reduced my review by one star because of that remark....southbury business and shipping is a treasure...you are just part of a bigger machine that you dont even own...enjoy your empire of dirt...PS...clean that place up, its a dump.

Closed at 5:25 pm. There is a sign on the door that states the store closes at 4:30 everyday, and noon Saturdays. If so, work hours should be changed here

Here at store #6098 superb care and courtesy are given every time I come in. Packaging is without equal, the best in the business. Patience for the confused customer is limitless. Friendliness is the order of the day. These guys deserve a medal. Paul spent inordinate time and effort today to get my oversized shipment off to a perfect start.

My wife tried to return a package in the middle of all this craziness. Walks in with a mask following all the protocol. She has a return code emailed to her from amazon and the grumpy guy behind the counter says she has to print out the code in order to scan it. He can not scan from her phone. Maybe I am missing something and if that is the protocol I apologize but to not be able to scan a code from someone’s smart phone in 2020 is pretty insane. I go here all the time for returns and to ship packages. Owner is great, friendly, and fun to talk to. I never wait long and am in and out quickly. I purposely keep my packages in my car and wait if I’m not near this store.

I honestly love the guys at this store! Ive had my business mail box there for years and the owner is always accommodating to me. Even when I lose my papers he has notarized he helps me again without making me feel crazy for losing them. My mail is always there and safe and they always are helping people when I am there in a pleasant manor. They were very pleasant and helpful, we got the labels printed, he took care of my packages, shipped out and received without any problems. I reccomend them to everybody!! It’s so sad that this location has people that are grouchy. This is basically all the time. Every time my husband drops off packages they become upset when asked for a confirmation ticket. That shouldn’t be a problem. Given the fact that sometimes things don’t get to its destination. It is the reason for asking so that there is proof. This place needs an uplift. I never leave bad reviews. This is the last time I will go into this ups store. Every time I come here I am made to feel like I am bothering the employee. He actually told me today that I should have came in an hour earlier than I did. It was 5:15 and they close at 6:00. He was slamming around the contents of the items being shipped, and spoke to me and other customers very rudely- as he rushed them out the door. Please take your shipments to Business and Shipping Center of Southbury at 385 Main St South 404. The owner there is very nice and will happily take your packages.

Zero rating for this UPS counter-creep. Yells at customers (Come on! Come on! Lets go!), throws packages on the floor as soon as you arrive at the counter. All of those 5-star reviews that he responds to are created by him in a feeble attempt to counter all the negative reviews this business receives. The owner is a childish, arrogant moron. The good people of Southbury deserve better. I have taken my business elsewhere.

I go to UPS EVERY day. Thats how our business ships. Most UPS stores its a struggle to get help unloading. These guys have reached a point where they meet me at the door everyday with a wheeled cart and wont let me lift a thing. Super personable, very friendly, always professional and smiling. We were in this store a week ago and Paul was the nicest man i have ever dealt with. We brought in a package the size of a house and he broke it down for us so we didnt have to take out a mortgage.His whole computer system went down and he never lost control. *****DO NOT***** ship anything from this store. I paid over $160 to have a package shipped, it was NOT delivered, and when I requested a refund from the stores owner, he laughed and said You are not getting your money back.Throughout the shipment process I was lied to, not called when I was told I would be, and when I sent someone to retrieve the returned package, they told me it wasnt there.

Left the store as it would not cost more than double what the vendor paid to ship the item to me to ship it back to the vendor. Called vendor and they said, No way....and sent me a pre-paid sticker to send it back. Will never step foot in here again - second time with a very bad experience.

I re entered this place in contravention of Einsteins admonition of the definition of insanity, being the expectation of different results from the same action... how silly of me the so called gentleman and his fine establishment... (read dump) yet again appalled me by his slovenly store and choice of vocabulary. i shall never darken his door again as business and shipping of southbury is so much nicer to the point that the owner would even come to me in my home as i am bedridden most of the time (as i am afflicted with ms) to notarize a document for me. five star!
