We recently used Moore Floors in Southern Pines, for laying Thermacore flooring, which was an excellent choice recommended by them, as we have dogs. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people. They were outstanding from start to finish, and we now have a beautiful new floor in our bedroom & closet. Carpeted two large rooms and two short halls. New carpet looks great. Installers were on time and worked diligently. They were delayed in picking up our carpet mid day through no fault of their own or Moore Floor and came back bright and early the next day to finish. All furniture was put back in exactly the right place.

Very Poor and Misleading Service. Stopped in December for quote on wood floors, wanted to patch an area where a wall was removed and get another room changed over from carpet to matching wood. Junebug came out quickly and took the samples back AND told me it could be done, a quote would be coming soon. Then took 3 weeks until I had to contact again, spoke to Kelly who discussed the quote, and then after I received the quote, and two days later when I contacted to come in and make down payment. Got a call/email from Brandi there was a problem -couldnt be found/purchased or done - basically a screw you. No apologizing for their delays, misinformation or lack of care. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! BEWARE!!

Moore Floors just replaced our carpet with hardwood in our family room. They did a phenomenal job: the guy who helped my husband match to the hallway flooring, the measuring which was precise enough to avoid over-ordering, and the talented, friendly crew that did the install. Every step of the way Moore Floors was friendly, concise, and very helpful. A word of warning: make sure you have set aside plenty of time in your schedule, because these guys arent done until they get it right. And then they dont leave until they have cleaned up after themselves. Trust me, its worth it!

The floors we ordered look amazing and the team worked incredibly hard to get them installed. We appreciated all the effort they made to pay attention to details and spending extra time to make sure there were no squeaky areas in the floor. Would have given five stars but we felt there was a lack of communication from the office staff. We would have appreciated a more accurate assessment of the timeline, more timely responses to questions and what to expect for floor delivery and installation because all of that requires us to flex our schedule as well. Overall we were happy with the experience and would use Moore Floors again.

Really enjoyed working with Kelly Locklear and his team. Carla and Brandi were extremely helpful when we had questions. We bought a new home in Seven Lakes West. We wanted to take up the carpet and match the existing wood flooring so the whole house had wood floors. Compounding the job was the fact we lived in Illinois and weren’t moving down for 5 weeks. We wanted to get the work done before we moved in. Kelly and his team were able to get the matching floor and schedule the job so it was completed before we arrived. The floors looked GREAT! Transition between rooms was perfect. They even did the stairs in the same flooring instead of something else stained to match. Highly recommend Moore Floors!

The entire experience from selection process, deconstruct of existing flooring, installation and final finish work was very good. Before any home improvement projects, I do a lot of research (following decorating experts, reading many pros and cons, studying HOUZZ, etc. After finally choosing hardwood over carpet for our four bedroom upstairs, the research for whom to do the installation began. FYI if you are looking for a reasonably priced, good quality and perfect installation of new floors - Moore Flooring is an excellent company! We replaced carpet and linoleum with engineered wood floors. Everyone did their job exceptionally well. The installation crew leader is a perfectionist who treated his men well. The owner stopped by every day to check on the progress. The guys cleaned up after themselves, moved furniture and even filled the holes after nailing the quarter round trim. We are very pleased with the product quality, installers skill level, project cost and the owners (Kelly) ability to interact easily with us and the crew as well.

We had 1600 sq. feet of engineered hardwood flooring put in our home and they are beautiful!! We can’t recommend Moore Floors highly enough! We decided we would “save some money” and buy our own materials and hire a tile person from the internet to re-tile our master bathroom shower and floor. What a nightmare! The work was shoddy, dirty and unprofessional. We had to fire the contractor in the middle of the job. Kelly Locklear from Moore Floors and his awesome staff to the rescue! The work had to be completely torn out and redone; but, Kelly gave us a fair and resonable bid, Carla helped us pick out the tile and ordered it promptly and Pedro and his crew did a BEAUTIFUL job. A very wise man said to me “if you think it’s expensive to hire a professional—try hiring one who is not!” When you need tile or flooring look no further than Moore Floors.
