Amazing coffee/tea/frappé, also a very quaint unique spot! Always a smile, go a couple of times and you become a regular and they know you and what you drink. They roast their own beans and the smell is amazing on roasting day. They have a relaxing deck outside to sit back enjoy a great drink and conversation if you would like. A fresh change from the cookie cutter corporate chain.

Like others have mentioned, it’s cash only. Luckily I live about 3 blocks away. I told them I would come back and pay and they didn’t bat an eye. I came right back and of course left a nice little tip since they are always so cool and the friendly staff totally deserves it. A nice little unique addition to Southern Pines, helping to keep a business in one of the historic old little cottages downtown.

A cozy and welcoming spot! I loved the “Stay Golden” coffee with turmeric and cinnamon with a touch of honey. Scones are fresh and perfectly balanced! Staff is engaging and genuine. What more could you ask for in a quiet Saturday afternoon? I’m making this my go to place for Saturday’s! ☕️🥮🥧

Had a double Cappuccino. It was great. Good ratio of ingredients.My only small gripe is that I wish places would use real mugs when people get a drink and stay. There is something special about seeing a golden ring of foam in the mug.

This place is a terrific way to get coffee and snacks! Great drinks, comfortable and polite setting, and relaxing environment. They grind and roast their own coffee in the coffee house out in the back daily. Its pure, rich, and delicious. They have good sodas, cookies, buiscuits(cookie) and the best brownies Ive ever eaten in town. They also have chocolate covered coffee beans, and postcards form sale! Service is friendly and fast. It next to the railroad, which has good views of trains passing through! Used to be a sears home from the 40s so Ive been told by the people who work there. They have a punch card you can get if you ask. They also have tabs! Theyre great people and really kind to everyone. They have rocking chairs, couches, and 2 seater tables next to the window! Its next to these very new very high end apartment/condo/town homes. Its across from a school. It has a nice deck, and good selections on the top menu where you order what drinks and concoctions you like! This place is awesome, theres more, youll just have to see for yourself, its fun and cozy! $Next to it is Frankies, another hometown coffee Shop! Just around the corner down the road.

They have great coffee here, a majority which they roast themselves. A lot of flavors and yummy coffee drinks are offered. There is funny decor on the walls and a cozy vibe. Great to meet a friend and catch up.

I love this place. I just moved here from Raleigh and was so excited to find a coffee shop the roast their own coffee. You can smell them roasting it as soon as you walk up. They have great wifi and are super nice. Just keep in mind its cash only but its so worth it for amazing coffee.

Always fresh delicious and balanced coffee available here. This was my go to place 10 years ago when I lived in town. Nice to see not a thing has changed.

Has a great selection of coffee! I went in asking for coconut milk, because I like how it complements the coffees flavor. While, they didnt have it, they suggested to me an alternative of putting some coconut flavoring in my coffee! (Definitely didnt think of that) They definitely are oriented to their guests there, but their credit card machine has been down for the past few weeks. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, for I dont tend to carry much cash around with me.

Its impossible not to love this adorable coffee shop. We live within walking distance, so its always a fun stop on Saturday morning. Coffee is wonderful, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. When its warm, we love sitting outside underneath the towering pine trees.

Java Bean Plantation has converted me into a coffee drinker. I always struggled to drink coffee because of the bitter aftertaste I experienced with other coffees, but Java Beans coffee is very smooth and not the least bit bitter. I dont even need to add milk. Remember to bring cash. The patio is a great place to enjoy nice weather!

Fine coffee shop. You might want to ingore this review as my favorite coffee comes from gas stations after I add hazelnut creamer and 3 sweetners. Regular coffee costs $2 here vs $1 at gas station. Kinda cozy atmosphere.

A gentleman at the counter was generously offering his female mule to the patrons. He said that though the mule was nice enough it said not worm an there was no room on his farm for anything that did not pull its weight.
