This place was amazing. 1st time here and loved the food and ice cream. 1st time the southern pines fire department was there and wish I got one of the guys number lol. Have been back multiple times for the amazing food though. Cute little place.

I had a Cheeseburger Carolina style-Chili,Mustard,& Slaw & a Chocolate Milkshake.Everything was excellent-food,quality service,& price.Only thing that would made it over the top would be if they had larger diameter straws.I prefer to sip my shakes,not to have to eat them with a spoon.

The late lunch we ate here was good and the cucumber wasabi dressing that came with my salad plate was a stand out. However, I felt extremely uncomfortable inside the shop, as there were several people who were not wearing masks at all. When I brought this to the attention of one of the young woman employees (who, when I asked, said said she was in charge, as the owner was not present) she said there was nothing she could or would do about it. The customers were not people who were eating ice cream or food at the time, but merely ordering it. I reminded her about governor Cooper‘s mask mandate, and she shrugged her shoulders. If you’re concerned about protecting your health, beware of this when you enter.They don’t even ask for masks on either of their “behavioral” door signs:

The Cucumber Wasabi tuna wrap special was bit of a let down. Didnt really taste the Wasabi and for the price, $8.75 + tax, they were kind of skimpy with the tuna and side of potato salad.

Its a cute little place that looks old fashioned. I took my granddaughter here a couple of times. She enjoyed a wonderful mango ice cream, while I had an almond, coconut, chocolate-chip ice cream that is perfect for Almond Joy candy fans. It was excellent! Of course they ran out of this flavor on my second visit and I settled for vanilla, which was gummy and of poor quality. I dont know if this was because nobody else was buying vanilla and it was old? Because of the vanilla, I would have given 3 1/2 stars. However, I would certainly return to try something else.

When the kids were little and they were going to Sandhills Peds (quarter mile away) we always made the stop for ice cream. As theyve grown into teens we venture in for an amazing pimento cheese burger on occasion. Years have gone by but weve never been disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem!!!! When you walk in whether the first or millionth time you will be welcomed like you are family. Their food is fantastic and they have such a variety of ice cream to even include dairy free ice cream. Come you will not be disappointed

A wonderful little ice cream shop, owned by amazing owners with secretly incredible food. Anything you order off the stable menu is satisfying, however if you are looking for a dining experience go for the special (AMAZING). The specials tend to sell out and they dont always repeat them. One of the things I love about them is if you have a special and give them input they will listen to your feedback. Also theres ice cream of course. From homemade opinions to classic favorites they have it all and specialty drinks as well. Try an somewhat of a secret menu item and get a freeze (a blended sorbet drink treat). Incredibly family friendly place and all together a must try.

Lavender honey ice cream is amazing! And, the sandwiches are good too.

We ordered 2 coffees and 1 hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was cold but she did tell me she thought it might be so would remake it - it was and she did. 2nd time it was warm but really not a hot chocolate. The coffees were also luke warm and not good either. Very disappointing - as they say been there twice - first and last time.Edited to increase stars after Anthony messaged me via FB, I understand a 1* is not good for business and times are hard so I will revise my review but customer service needs to improve.

Nice assortment of ice creams. The graham central station is amazing. My boyfriend loves the banana and cherry flavors. I cant comment on the menu items but stop by for a cone. Kiddie cone is more than enough at a reasonable price.

I love the Ice Cream Parlor. I take my son here all the time and its always one of the first places he asks me to go when we get downtown. Its one of the local gems here that helps give Southern Pines a feeling of being a community rather than just being another small town. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My favorite thing to get here is the Patty Melt. I also would suggest checking whatever they are serving as the special of the day. Theyll often get things in as a special that arent on the menu regularly and are amazingly good!

The Home Made Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Cream is delicious! The crew here are very courteous & happy all the time! They also make some delicious milkshakes that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting from out of town! That said the straws for said milkshake could be a wider straw! Ive had difficulties in the past with 1 straw but I use 2 straws & its fine. Besides the straw thing I The Southern Pines Ice Cream Parlor a good, solid 5 stars!

Food was very good. Service was friendly, fast and above and beyond expectations! I had an issue with my sandwich (my fault-not theirs), they corrected it quickly -no charge. Couldnt ask for more when it was my mistake!!

We love this local ice cream parlor. They do a wonderful job of preserving the love and excitement of a local, small town ice cream shop. We brought our kid here for his first ice cream cone, and he was instantly hooked. The service is always warm and welcoming, plus the interior contains a picturesque graphic record of the historical downtown Southern Pines. We will definitely be repeat customers throughout the summer. They even offer hotdogs and shakes too if you wander in a little hungrier.

Its a great place to get a quick sandwich or dessert. The ice cream is very good and the sandwiches are as well.

My vege dog was good as usual as was the friendly service. They are set up for Covid guidelines and that made us feel comfortable eating there as well

Best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Their Lavender Honey is heavenly. I’m a ice cream freak and have done things like 20 flight blind taste tests of ice cream in Vegas, had gelato in Florence and Paris, and this place is my favorite. We even have framed art of the ice cream parlor in our Washington DC home lol. Definitely go if you’re in town!

Theres nothing you cannot love about the Ice Cream Parlor. They serve AMAZING burgers and hotdogs, along with a variety of soups and cold sandwiches, and their cheese fries are probably the best Ive ever had. And for desert, anyone can enjoy their desert! They have regular, homemade, sugar free, gluten free, and sometimes even dairy free ice creams!!! (the Vanilla is safe for dogs so even the family pet can have some!) The whole family can enjoy!The Ice Cream Parlor is a great place to hang out, especially for older age groups. Its located smack dab in the middle of Downtown Southern Pines.

Average place, mostly ice cream. Should have more choices because of that. Wish they would use cardboard cups instead of these horrible white foam plastic cups and wooden spoons instead of these plastic spoons. One of the few places that has a good bathroom also convenient tables and chairs outside in the shade. Makes it really nice to enjoy your Ice cream there. $ 3.00 for 2 scoops.

I have to say, the historic nature of the place had my hopes up for ice cream made in-store, but they buy the stuff. Friendly enough staff, and great views from the huge windows. There are always families here, and its good for a snack with friends.

A great hole in the wall in downtown southern pines! I went for dinner and got the all the way burger with fries and it was awesome! Their homemade ice cream is good too! I recommend the homemade blueberry!!

Th milkshakes and ice cream are great. The burgers are just ok (appear to be frozen burgers) with a variety of toppings. Potato salad is the excellent. The cole slaw I couldn’t eat.
