Be aware if you buy your car here that they are not able to service it. I just called to schedule my 6k oil change, and have something looked at under warranty, and was told there are no appointments, they are booked until October, call a different dealer. This is the third car I have bought from Glassman, we always had exceptional service in the past (even when they porter ran my car into a wall, they were great about fixing it and giving me a rental), but as they directed, we are now taking our business elsewhere.

This was my first experience at Glassman for service and I would definitely return. I had mt trunk latch serviced. The counter agent thought Id have to return for the part but they took care of me that day. Everyone was polite and very helpful.

Wish I could give 0. Paid 4500 for a vehicle, within 30 days in overheated. Sexist salesman. Ive taken to the dealer for repair. They fixed it, but wasnt fixed. They have had the vehicle over 3 weeks. I have replaced heater core, water pump, radiator. Still not fixed. Terrible

We were on vacation and visiting relatives in Novi, MI so made an appointment with Glassman Kia for maintenance on our 2012 Kia Sorento SX. I spoke with Joshua who got us into the Service department within a five days. We had out transmission & differential fluids changed and tires rotated. We had around 96,500 miles on the Sorento and wanted to get this done before our long drive home to Central Oregon.We made it home with no problems what so ever on the Sorento.Thank You Joshua and the Service Staff and Mechanics at Glassman Kia.Bob & Elise Firth

We purchased a used Kia Optima last week. Wonderful experience! We test drove three cars and came back a few days later to test drive one again. No pressure or push to get a sale. Very low key and willing to answer questions and get us the car at the price we wanted. We even received a follow up phone call after the purchase to make sure we were happy. I brought my car into this dealership in May. I asked them to look at my brakes because I was moving out of state. My brakes were still under warranty. They told me my car was fine and nothing needed to be replaced. Fast forward to June there’s a recall on my car that they obviously missed. Fast forward to today and I need new brake pads, rotors and a new caliper. My brakes are no longer under warranty and I’m paying out of pocket for something that you guys did not want to fix. I called and asked about the recall, they told me that the recall was new. I called Kia customer service and asked when the recall came out and guess what…. It was in October 2020 so they lied to me over the phone. They said the general manager would call me to follow up with why they didn’t do their job and I’m still waiting for it. I will never go here again. The brakes were over $800 and were covered under warranty until June, they knew they should’ve fixed my car snd chose not to.

I bought a Kia Soul used from them 3 weeks ago. Within that time, the car began experiencing major mechanical problems (stalling, underperforming). When I took it back to the service center, expressing how upset I was, they told me because I didn’t have a warranty (neither the sales department or my bank offered one), they told me I was responsible for the repairs. I expressed dissatisfaction with this, and they gave me about 15% off on labor/expenses. I ended up shelling out hundreds for a car I’d paid them nearly $10k for just weeks before. So don’t buy from them unless you want to roll the dice on a car like you got it in a private sale.

My new car buying experience in February 2020 was good, but the service department was a mess for the next year or so. For example, I stopped in for a minor concern in April 2021 on my lunch hour, and the service manager was really rude because I did not have an appointment, so I went elsewhere. Thankfully he no longer works there. It seems like many of the Google reviews for Glassman new car buyers are similar to my experience. Good sales but the service department has had some challenges. I hope it will improve soon. My only other complaint is followup phone calls, especially 15 months after buying my car I got sales calls asking me to trade it in. I had less than 10000 miles on it. Why would I trade it in? Perhaps if I didnt like it, but I do like it. People who want a new car every 2-3 years will typically lease?

Not having a good experience. Car was towed here on a Sunday for a bent rim and tire. I called on Monday to verify they had the car. I followed up on Tuesday to give them the claim # for the wheel and tire insurance in an email as requested. I called Wednesday to see if they filed the claim and they said not yet, but its not holding them up from ordering the parts. I called on Thursday and was told they were at lunch and would get a call back. I waited until 530pm to call and check and was told they didnt have the claim number becaue it was in the Spam Folder and my parts havent been ordered. All of this for a replacement rim and tire. Now Im looking at being out a car for a week since they wont have the parts in until the weekend or later. No one follows up, and no one seems to care.

Disappointed in customer service. Made appointment in December to have car checked out due to periods of not starting, but after setting for some time car would start. I rented a car and they had car for 2 days and couldnt find anything wrong. Car did it again at the end of January but after setting for 5 days it started. A week later car wouldnt start. Couldnt get an appointment for 3 days and they dont do loaners anymore. Rented a car for that time span. Had my car towed on Thursday for Friday morning appointment. Returned rental Friday night only to be told by dealership they did not get to my car. Dealership offered to pay for 50% of my rental and finally able to get a loaner. Did not get car back for 6 days. 2 months later still waiting on my reimbursement check and after calling and leaving message. The service has really went down hill

Emailed dealership this afternoon to set up a time to test drive a car. Drove half an hour in traffic to get there only to be told by salesman they have none of the vehicle I wanted available to test drive, nor was the person that I was told to contact there to help me. Waste of time and gas. What a horrible way to do business. Plenty of other dealerships in the area to do business with. Will not be back

I actually found the car I wanted at another dealership. I felt the price was to high and they would not budge. I found the same car the Seltos XS on cars.com with the price I was willing to pay at Glassman Kia (minus a sunroof). I had an appointment at 5:45 pm, I walked in and showed Michael and Soul B the price that it was listed for to validate the numbers, I took it for a quick drive on the highway and I left at 8:30pm with my new Seltos. They did not play games with me and they did not have hidden fees that boosted the price. They also saved me from overpaying by $2400.00! Thank you guys, I will be recommending you to anyone looking for a Kia!

Service center was disappointing. I scheduled an appointment online to have recalls fixed a month ago and upon arrival was told the system was down. No problem, technical issues happen. Made a second appointment in person, and when I called to confirm, was told they needed to order parts. So we pushed back the appointment another 2 weeks, to be on the safe side. Just called this morning before my appointment to inquire about a loaner car. They informed me that they do not have any, oh and by the way, we cant do your recall either. They said the parts were back ordered and started to laugh when they asked if I wanted to be put on a wait list. I declined. Im disappointed they had no intention of letting me know in advance my appointment wasnt happening... again. Im so glad I called first! Ill take my service and future sales elsewhere.

Needed parts for my Kia. Ordered parts for my vehicle, but also needed other bumper and hood components at their parts department. When I arrived to pick my already ordered parts, I respectfully asked for an itemized estimate for additional parts I may need, since I was looking at their catalog at the counter on their computer monitor, but the parts guy told me they don’t like to give itemized statements because people look the part numbers up on the internet and buy the parts online. Glassman automotive group just lost a longtime customer.

We had a wonderful experience buying a used 2016 Kia Sorento in great condition here. Thank you, Edward and Gary! We got a GREAT deal and are so pleased. We had our 3 year old and 11 month old baby with us, and the staff was so kind and patient with our children too, which made me feel more comfortable. I was a little nervous about trying to buy a car with little ones in tow, but it was all really seamless. When we sat down to do the paperwork, Edward even pulled up a big rolling chair for my 3 year old son to sit in. That small gesture was actually really helpful and made the experience special for my son too, like he was a part of it - he just ate his snack and sat in his chair contentedly. We chatted with some of the other salesmen/woman who was around while we waited, and everyone was just really natural and pleasant. The whole vibe of the place was comfortable and personable, the process was quick, and most importantly, we love our new car! I recommend Glassman Auto! Thanks again, Edward and Gary!

Glassman Kia of Southfield was the worst customer experience I have ever had at a Kia dealership. The service center is poorly run and we had a horrible experience dealing with Kristina Bowyer. We let her know early Monday morning that we had a tire warranty and the service was never processed as such. We were told her manager could override the system and process it as such, only to have a total bait and switch and get stuck paying when arriving. She then gave us the information for reimbursement. It’s a week later and I’m still dealing with trying to get my money back. This location is so cash strapped. Perhaps it has to do with the lazy mechanics with bad attitudes? If you have a warranty you are pushed to the back of the line. It took them two days to replace a tire and do an oil change, only to still not get it right. Go to Summit Place Kia in Clinton Township. It might be a little bit of a ride, but it will be done correctly and you won’t be penalized for having a warranty and getting the regular maintenance done. If I could give zero stars I would!

These salesmen and women are amazing! We were actually on our way to buy a car that we had test driven earlier when we passed this dealership. We decided to drive through just to see what they had. They had a great selection of cars so we decided to test drive a few. Charley was our salesman. He was wonderful!!! We had been car searching for quite some time and had dealt with some unpleasant sales people. Needless to say, we found the car of my dreams and bought it. Very fast. Communicative. Appreciated the car wash!The only recommendation would be to have someone monitoring the waiting rooms a little to help folks find space safely due to the coronavirus. There were a few times it seemed like people were forced to sit closely because there wasnt room anywhere else or they didnt know if there was more room and none of the staff seemed in charge of that area.

Initially, my experience there wasnt too bad as they properly valued my vehicle and gave me an amount which was fairly reasonable in comparison to other places. But this is where things began to go downhill.I was initially looking into the Kia Telluride and the Sales person I was working with seemed fairly new. Which I completely understand that people need to learn on the job at times but it seems as though she needed to check with her superior after each and every question which we asked. But even then, I was able to overlook this.This is when the superior which she was speaking to for every question, Andre, came into the equation. He broke down the specific model of Telluride which we were looking for. The nightfall edition which would cost about 50k give or take, and even showed us the sticker for it. Awesome, right? I thought so too, until the hidden fees started creeping up on me.After we saw the sticker price, and heard the vehicle was on its way and should be at the dealership within a week or two, we were completely on board. They kept shoving it in our face that they were one of the only dealers that gives sticker price on the Telluride and doesnt add on a premium. This slowly turned out to be a lie, but Ill get to that.So our sales person needed about a day or so to get the final amount wed be financing after everything is calculated and the trade in is factored in. She gave me a call and told me that with the trade in, wed be financing about 50k. That didnt quite fall in line with my numbers as my trade in would have provided me 5k and with taxes, the vehicle should have been about 53k. Apparently, there were specific warranties and additional items which they add onto the Telluride from the dealership which you cant remove...because...its the Telluride? Whatever, it was okay with me, I was willing to eat that amount and work with it, as it benefit me in some manner. So going by the assumed 50k Id be financing, I managed to scrounge up another 6k in cash for a down payment that would have, based on my calculations and how much Id be financing from the sales persons call, about 44k financed in total.I come into the dealership with my 6k down payment offer, and then after they tally everything up with Andre, they bring a breakdown and Id be financing about 49k????? What?? Thats when things fell apart, I saw the sticker price and was quoted a specific amount by the sales person, and then Andre continues to tell me that they do a premium of about 3k on the Telluride. Which was completely unacceptable as I was already quoted and promised sticker price by the sales person! I was even given an estimate to how much Id be financing.At this point, I was done, I left the dealership and went to LaFontaine Kia. Not only were they more friendly and knowledgeable, they didnt give off the vibe that I was just another sale. They provided me the same exact vehicle with an premium of only 500 and would also hold the vehicle for me. No additional warranties forced onto me unless I wanted it.All in all, avoid Glassman Kia if you can. Theyre just not up to par when it comes to other dealerships out there.

My wife purchased, from Glassman. a used 2018 Kia Optima, she traded in a 2015 Kia Sorrento that she purchased new. The Optima was purchased 12/2020, I heard a knocking sound while riding in her vehicle and she took it in for service 01/2021. I was a passenger in the Optima again and heard the same sound. It was clearly on the passenger side and my wife didnt hear it. Well she took the car in today for service and was told by the service advisor that the wheel and tire was the cause of the noise and that itll cost $750.00 to repair. I call the service advisor Jonathan Richardson and he stated that he would need to speak with the used car sales department. Mr Richardson call back and stated that the vehicle was sold as is and that nothing would be done. I told him they just lost a customer. My wife has purchase two vehicles from Glassman Kia and clearly theyre not willing to stand behind their product. You sell a used vehicle with a repaired wheel...and a loyal customer expects to be remedied after having the vehicle for, just shy of, three months and this is the second time it has been in for this knocking issue. REALLY GLASSMAN.....Shame!I wish I could give negative stars....This is disappointing and to think was was entertaining getting the Kia Telluride from Glassman....Nope my wife and I will spend our money elsewhere. I really hope that these reviews are read so that upper management can see how their loyal customers are treated.

First time going to their service department and not sure if I would go back. The service dept for Kia needs to be clearly marked. There is a small sign pointing you in the direction, but the garage itself is not marked that I noticed. Interesting they expanded to the old Toys R Us space and that’s clearly marked but not the different service departments.My interaction with the service rep could have been better. I felt rushed. No other customers were there when I arrived. I was getting my bag and reaching for my mask to put on when she starts loudly telling me to put my mask on. Calm down, I am not trying to violate the order. But perhaps you should wait a second if you see someone trying to get out of the car. Then while I’m trying to put my mask on, she kept asking me questions. Then it just felt like a series of orders after that—leave the car on, meet me at the desk, etc. All standard things at a service appointment, but did not care for the tone. Also, kindly explain what the recalls are. The rep very quickly said I had two outstanding recalls. I had to stop her and have her go back to say what they were. I honestly was not aware. She said it (basically the part) and followed up with “totally free by the way.” Totally unnecessary comment by the way. Recalls are supposed to be free of charge. Again, I’m more concerned about the safety hazard since I’m learning Kia has more than I bargained for.The service itself was done timely. I prefer to be made aware of any checkpoint that scores as “needs attention” while I’m there. This is the only time I’ve experienced someone not going over the checkpoints and what was completed at the end of service. What “needed attention” was minor but there is communication that I would prefer to happen in the moment between the service dept and the customer.Speaking of communication, not sure why the online portal when you book an appointment does not automatically create a customer profile. Standing there giving all the info I already had to plug in to book was a waste of time for the rep and customer.

I came to Glassman Kia on Telegraph to buy my girlfriend her first car and let me tell you, our experience there and our salesman Saif were absolutely amazing. I own a used vehicle and have never bought a brand new vehicle so both my girlfriend and I were kind of nervous. Saif caught us right at the door when we walked in and made us feel genuinely welcome as if we were at home. He went through every detail of every option we had without dragging it all out but in simple terms so everything was easy to understand. I don’t know about everyone else, but we love to connect with people, and Saif was very easy to connect with and get answers to the millions of questions we had as new buyers. Through the test drives, paperwork, and approvals it all only took an hour before the car was ours! I cannot remember his last name for the life of me but Saif at Glassman Kia is the salesman you want, he will NOT disappoint you I promise.

Had a 11am appointment for my Sorento today (10/22). My car needed a sway bar bushing replaced. I made the appointment over a week ago. Once I got there they informed me that I would have to leave it with them and it should be ready in three to four days! Wow! What a letdown! You would think that they could of told me that beforehand! It only takes 30 minutes to replace a sway bar. Maybe they were flying their mechanics in from overseas?? I took a day off of work for that?? I cannot recommend them to anyone. My experience with another Kia dealer was far superior and I am sure they would have let me know that I would need to let them have it for several days if that was the case. Big Disapointment in customer care!

Thank you !Summary/TL;DR : H1B/Work visa holders you might as well save some time and energy and stay away from this place.Horrible experience buying a certified pre-owned Subaru, I will not recommend Glassman to anyone.Post finalizing a deal, transferring insurance, filling out paperwork, AND waiting for an hour at the dealership, i was told (via Mr. Randall - salesperson, Mr Gary- Manager and Mr Andy- finance guy) that we can-not complete the deal today since Chase denied a loan for me - just after i told them i was on a work visa (which expires in 2023!). When i said, i can do external financing i was told Andy will talk to Chase the following morning on my behalf . Fair enough you would think, however i was given a run-around for the next two days regarding how Andy has not been in office and hence hasnt been able to talk to the bank . Finally after 3 days and multiple calls/texts when i pushed to get the work order to apply for self-financing, i got a work order which was $1500 more than the agreed upon price, without any explanation whatsoever as to why the price quoted is different from 3 days ago.This week i closed a deal with Hodges Subaru for a CPO Subaru Outback, financed through dealer from Chase at an interest rate lower than i was offered via Glassman ! So i know for sure Chase did NOT deny my loan application.Thanks Glassman for not doing business with me !Not only did they waste my time and made a hard credit enquiry, they also went back on their word - because i am on a visa and potentially a high risk individual even though i have excellent credit.

In January of 2020 my wife and I placed an order and a deposit for a 2020 Telluride.In June of 2020, Mike Parziale, the General Sales Mgr, informed us that our order was canceled do to COVID-19 and would be replaced with a 2021 model when available. Mr. Parziale assured us in writing that our deposit “can be returned when requested.”We have reached out multiple times to Mr. Parziale, as well as to Michael Glassman (dealership owner), via email, text message, and phone/voice mail requesting return of our deposit.Mr. Parziale and Mr. Glassman have been unresponsive to communications and have not yet returned our deposit.

To whom this may concern. I walked into your Kia edifice 12/30/19 to purchase something nice for self. The first I saw was Ms. Judy smiling, and standing as she welcomed my husband and I. Long story short, she was very genuine, knowledgeable, and her guest service skills should be class. I am not sure if bonuses or accolades are given, but Ms. Judy T. deserve one for December 2019. Went to purchase a new vehicle and had a car I wanted to get out of as I was upside down. I explain the situation to the salesman although I should have walked away immediately since his first words to me when I walked in were “how much do you have for a down payment.” I sat there and watched this guy take car of another individual who came in after me then approached me with an application to fill out as well as the co-buyer. He told me he would try and would be in touch. He called me less than 20 minutes later to tell me to bring my car to him to get it appraised that he can make it happen, I drove back to the dealership so he could do an appraisal. He showed me a Kia Sportage and said he would get me into one and to give him a couple of days. I called this Charley character back a week later, left a message never received a return call. It actually was a blessing in disguise. Please do not get your car serviced here. No one knows what they’re doing. Told me I needed a whole new transmission on a car that has 72k miles. Left my car on, killed my battery. Had it towed to another Kia, had to have battery replaced and issue has nothing to do with my transmission. Save yourself a month of diagnosing just to be wrong.Called and left a voicemail, twice, still no return call, Mike.

I went in for an oil change today and was told it would take about an hour and a half. It took all of 45 minutes including the tire rotation. I got a discount and they fixed a recall issue with my stereo. In 45 minutes! Oh and they washed my car. My previous dealer never did that and took 3 hours! Was told it was fixed but it still didnt keep air! BEST and EASIEST car buying experience ever!!! I found the car online Wednesday night, called Thursday morning to set an appointment for a test drive and have my current car appraised. I met with Ilene Thursday evening. She was professional, not pushy and knowledgeable. We hangled slight over the appraisal and I was happy with final offer. I liked the car and the buyers agreement was sent to my finance company the same evening as promised( I had my own financing.) I agreed to the terms and was able to pick up the car Saturday morning. I could have picked it up Friday, but my schedule wouldn’t not permit me tothere sooner. I arrived Saturday morning and within an hour and a half (maybe even less) I had signed all the paper work, plates transferred, a few laughs and hugs and I was walking out the door with the keys to my new car!!! Saw previous post concerning the unimportant response from Wendy; the same happened to us. Finally two young men saved the day! Deadline up on my lease(from another place), I gave it one last shot after waiting since March 20th.??? The 1st gentleman in service dept connected me to a mail box, that led to Michael(like an angel). This young man made all the necessary chks and call backs and by 4pm, we left with the car we wanted. Having a moment of traumatic/dramatized death of my Kia 2008 - I went in search for a new Kia. After making my decision - I showed up here and Charley was 100% exceptional. Not only was he personable and humorous - he was helpful and explained details of this process that were unclear. I went and got an oil change from this place, they kind of made me feel weird. I have a 2003 Kia Spectra, in the report the man said my car was unsafe to drive. When I took it to LaFontaine Kia dealership on Telegraph, the man there never told me that, he always told me what needed to be worked on. I felt as if my car wasnt good enough, when everyone else had service done, they drove their cars to the door instead they handled me my keys and I had to walk to get into my vehicle, to be mindful I am 7 months pregnant and had to walk in the cold, before this happened I was considering purchasing a vehicle from this business, but after that I wont be back.

Went to check out a used vehicle. Price was fine, sales guy seemed straight forward. Only issue was a check engine light. Was told it was due to an O2 sensor. Started the approval process while I contemplated. Ultimately decided I didnt feel comfortable with that engine light and told the sales guy and left. Chris, the sales manager called me and asked what the problem was. I explained it, he said they could fix it, I told him I would reconsider if they fixed it and put the repairs under warranty. He started getting an attitude with me. I dont know who you think youre dealing with, but weve been here 55 years, said Chris. I told him I was done having a conversation with a sales guy with an attitude. He insulted me and hung up on me.If they have exactly what you want, I dont see an issue purchasing a vehicle with them, but apparently they dont like when you walk away. Not happy with that guys attitude. Needs some remedial training in customer service. Good luck, Chris.

My engine locked up on my Kia Sorrento. Cole in service work with Kia to gett the replacement of the engine covered 100% and the loaner. I was advised it would take 3 to 4 weeks to complete the repairs. I had my car back in 5 days. It has been 4weeks and my car is running good; no complaints.

Very unhappy with the service department. Had an appointment to have my headunit checked out on my stinger because its been having problems. I arrive to the service department, they ask me whats wrong then they tell me that their guy who deals with this kind of stuff isnt in. So drove up there for nothing and was only there for 5 minutes. 2: called service department 3 times to get a quote on an automatic starter, i was told Id get a call back... I didnt. Same thing happened two other times 3 days in a row. 3: had an appointment for an oil change, yes its the holidays but I STILL HAD AN APPOINTMENT. Service guy (which was very professional) told me 3 hours for an oil change smh. Again only up there for 5 mins, had to reschedule!! They already took 2 hours the first time to change my oil smh!! Very disappointed in this kias service department.
