Everything You want Italian is in this store! The store is spotless and the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I had the pleasure of Jade assisting me in my purchases. I purchased a pound and a half of assorted miniature homemade cookies 🍪! The homemade cookies 🍪 were Delicious 😋!They also featured fresh Italian Bread 🍞! This Definitely was a Pleasant Experience! Jade was very patient and helpful with my purchase decisions! I highly recommend this store for that specialty Italian homemade meal!

I usually get my pizza from Italia Bakery when in Dearborn but Caprara is good in the Downriver area as a close second.

They have a great deal of stuff to choose from always a kind face. Their prices are very reasonable as well..Awesome Pepperoni Rolls...

They have the best unbaked pizza you can buy and they make spaghetti and it is delicious. Great customer service. The ladys that work there are wonderful

Pepperoni rolls are delicious!! We also love buying their pre-made dough and making our own pizzas. But always have to buy a bag of their shredded mozzarella, it’s so good and very fresh. Every employee I’ve dealt with has been great, friendly and very quick.

Very busy this time of year. I suggest you order ahead. They run an amazing little store here. My family makes our own pizzas on new years day. We buy the sauce and dough here. Its delicious.

Asked for cherry turnover, gave me apple and it didnt taste like apple....more like a weak pear flavored turnover, threw it away. Tried choco chip cookies, 2.75 stars out of 5. The apricot figs, I threw them away. The pecan things are 5 out of 5...crazy how the stuff was all over the map!

This place is wonderful!!! Have been a customer since I was a student at the old Aquinas High School ... Class of 1979! Learned about it from my Dad. He was raised on traditional Italian food, and loved Capraras pizza and pepperoni rolls. Until 2011 when my fraternal grandmother died, every few weeks we stocked her up with bread from Caprara. This place is simply just flat out good! Staff is welcoming and friendly and always helpful.

So, Here It goes My Pros and consPros:The staff at the counter are nice and helpful.The Selection is Grand And the stuff is presented well.Cons:The pastrys that we ate were not fresh.The other food Pepperoni roll / Pizza were out in the open which is a problem now because of the pandemic.The food looked cold not warm not even hot.Overall I give 3 stars because the stores aesthetic is nice and nostalgic but the food is lackluster and not safe in our current pandemic.

This place has been a family favorite for many years. They make the best pizza dough we have ever tasted. Its always fun to go there. We drive over 40 miles to pizza dough and cannolis.

My absolute favorite place to go. I have never had a bad experience and highly doubt I ever will. Their family values extend to their customers and it makes the 10/15 minutes you spend here even more enjoyable.

This place is full of nostalgia for me and my family. I dont think Ive ever had anyting bad to eat here. The staff is a little too focused on moving people out quickly and is never friendly nor do they make you feel welcome. Other than that, I definitely recommend it.

Great shop. Staff are very helpful and friendly. One of the only bakeries I know of that sells fresh baked cookies by the pound regardless of cookie type. Very yummy. Also offer pizza by the slice, pizza rolls, and fresh made sandwiches all of which are tasty.

The hidden gem. If you dont know about this place you should go and check it out. Their pizza rolls are amazing and you can tell their is fresh. They dont use the bad pepperoni that gives you heart burn either. They have been around forever and hopefully it will stay like that

Fantastic little Italian store, conveniently located right off of Northline. Anything Ive ever gotten here has been delicious. Staff is always friendly and kind. Their hoagies are seriously incredible. Great spot to grab a lunch to go.

They maintain a long-time tradition of the service as well their offerings! I especially love to purchase their canollis and gift them to others, a guaranteed smile from my clients and family and friends. We even pre-ordered a few dozen for our holiday gathering recently! Fran and her family (including the non-bioligical staff) are good people, leaving any one of us feeling welcomed!

I love this place so much! Their ingredients (besides exotic toppings e.g. artichokes) are as cheap as you can get them and their take home and bake pizza is AMAZING. Go here for pizza that you wont regret.

What good is a bakery that wont take orders for customers or bake? Used to come here all the time for baked goods. Now its reheated pizza and mass produced cookies and cakes most of which isnt even made by Caprara. If they are out of something dont take their word for it when they say they will have it in. Ive handed them $50 and asked them to order stuff they were out of, to which I got... No we dont do special orders like that. So if you dont do special orders when youre out of stock, you dont know when youre getting more, and you got caught in a lie from a previous trip to this bakery. Whats the point in coming here again?

We got a few things to try.Pepperoni, ham, cheese and sauce roll.Pecan tartsRaspberry cookiesCanoliAnd capicola.I wasnt impressed with the cookie, but the rest was all good. Ill be going back. At a minimum I know where to get delicious almond danishes, since it seems to be getting harder to find them when I want them.

Wonderful place to get fresh breads and Italian goods was hoping for a good sub bun for meatball sandwiches unfortunately their buns are too tough you squish all the food out of em to tear the bun small enough to chew!
