The outside of this store makes me feel happy. Like the design.Inside is clean, with some standard selection -nothing extra special.Staff were all kind- although waited in line a little longer with only 1 person at the register.Favorite Big Lots in the area.

This Big Lots is my go to store for any holiday or seasonal decorations. The quality of the items are good, and they are priced right. Other good deals in the store too!

This store has the occasional deals and oddball things that make your house a home.. not overly expensive and youre in and out with something cool before you know it.. Ive heard that this June this store is closing and moving to another location.. hope its closer to my house 🏘️.

My husband and I went to see the new Big lots that took over toys r us in Southgate mi. We are sure out of the 10 employees that we walked passed didnt acknowledge we were there. That included the 4 that was standing at the exit door as we squeezed through to go out. 😒

Nice quality furniture I had my sofa love seat & chair now for about 3 years & it has held up. It is still in very good condition. I was hesitant to buy furniture from there at first but so glad I did. I am also thinking on buying a dinning room set from there. I have also purchased other home good items & been very satisfied with the price & quality.

Place is often in disarray. Customers assistance poor, but checkers at the register are nice. Just remember you get what you pay for.

Turned into a (cheap) furniture store. Used to be able to get way more home goods from this store. Not sure whos call (corporate or local mgr) it was to turn 2/3 of the store into a mock Value City Furniture but was certainly disappointed at the selection of stuff Big Lots was known for.

I always find a variety of good products...from things for the kitchen and bath room to cosmetics, cleaning products and basic food items. The store is always clean, arranged and usually well stocked. A staff member always welcomes me as I enter the store and they are courteous, friendly and professional.

This store is usually pretty stocked and organised. I like the different selection of items like a big box store, but not so massive and packed full of people. The prices are not as low as they used to be. There are lots of name brand items they are slightly cheaper than getting at a grocery store. I can always find something to buy when Im here.

I have been looking for a particular item that Big Lots had online so I decided to call the store to see if they had it and they did have the item plus was kind enough to pull it from the stock and reserve it for me at the front desk. There was a young guy who took care of me and he was ever so sweet. This was an awesome experience

Although they didnt have the roll away bed in stock the employe was very helpful the store was clean well organized.

Good place to save a buck. Dont expect them to have the same thing every time you go. Some things they carry all the time some they dont. Check dates on food. A lot of short sale items

Depends on what youre looking for. Generally speaking you can find some bargains. The store is reasonably clean & reasonably organized. The staff is helpful. I dont go in there often. I only go at this time of the year because they are one of the first stores to put out their Halloween items.

Love big lot youre not that close to us both stores a ways away. But I like finding things in there I cant find anywhere else and if he get there at the beginning of the Season you really find some really good Treasures last year we bought a pool there and the filters and all the stuff to go with it and beach towels and all the stuff because I decided I was making my backyard of Education so I dont have any problem with anything ever.

Ran in there for my napkins....but the store was so clean and organized this time...i enjoyed browsing. And spent alot more then planned...lol....it was nice. For a change.

I use a cane ..need hip replacement but Im putting it off because so many of my friends hips and backs are worst after surgery.....enough rambling, lol.....when I entered Big Lot there stood one of the sales associates with a basket for me...she smiled and said I saw you coming across the parking lot! That my Big Lot in Southgate on Eureka Rd...5 stars all day long...its the small things in life that make it so wonderful:::))

Found nearly all I went for. Some unexpected sales too. Store was neat, clean, well organized, thoughtfully arranged. Associates were ready to assist and very pleasant. Checkout was speedy, correct, and polite.

Not a bad store, just a bad experience. Ive been to plenty of stores where a customer picks something up, finds a cheaper, comparable item in another spot, picks cheaper item and leaves initial item NOT where it belongs, making the next customer think its a cheaper than what it should be price. Most seasoned shoppers can pick this out quick and at least price check the item. At this Big Lots though, the entire stock of porch mats were on an end cap with a SALE price on the shelves which was the only thing listed ... no item description, no SKU, nothing ... I grabbed 2, went to checkout, told price wasnt for those mats. Expressed it wasnt just 1 or 2 like a customer left them but at least 4 dozen of different design. Went back n took pic for manager and was still told I was wrong. The price shouldve been honored. Went back next day for something different and the end cap was changed, mats in different location with actual price. Im sure if I wouldve pushed the issue and held up the line I couldve won, but Im no Karen and dont have the patience for things like that. Other than that, store clean, lines took long to ring out, cashiers not personal, stock not handled but good prices for goods and good holiday product placement

Staff was friendly they had paper towels kleenex tp but no cleaning items like Clorox spray wipes but other stores are also short on items!
