I purchased a mobility scooter through SpinLife and requested the white glove delivery service.. That was MedEx. Professional, and knowledgeable, and prompt. Even though didnt purchase from them, would recommend them to anyone in need of medical equipment.
My older son was involved in a motorcycle accident and broke both legs. To break him out of Harborview after 2 weeks, I needed a wheelchair and a commode. My Dad had always used this business for his scooter repairs/lift chair/medical supplies and the staff was always welcoming and friendly to the old cranky senior ;-)...so this is where I went first. The staff was AWESOME, renting me the wheelchair with special leg attachment and advising me where to look for the commode (they didnt have the one I needed). I had no idea how long I would need the chair, so rented for the week...then still needed it for a week. I figured out that I was going to need it for at least another 2 weeks. REH went ahead and switched me from weekly to monthly, saving my now unemployed son money he doesnt have and most likely wont get from the underinsured driver that turned in front of him...Thank you.
TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL. THEY KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO MAKE SURE YOU FIT YOUR LIFT CHAIR BY MEASURING YOU AND OTHER MEDICAL NEEDS. KIND, FRIENDLY AND A REAL PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. THE OWNER AND STAFF TREATED ME WITH RESPECT AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND GAVE ME INFORMATION ON MY EQUIPMENT THEY DID ALL OF THIS IN A TIMELY MANNER. YOU NEVER FELT RUSHED .WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY VETERAN OR TO THE PUBLIC.
After an automobile accident in October of 2017, I have been limited to the interior of a 950 square foot condo, and trips out to the car for either doctor appointments or dining out. Not terribly exciting, but rather on the “drive one stir crazy” side. All that changed today at MedEx, Inc. when I rented a motorized scooter. It separates into “Five Easy Pieces” (a movie starring Jack Nickelson and Karen Black that is worth watching if only for the diner scene) and one of the gents there was kind enough to write out simple foolproof instructions of assembly for me. To dissemble, I just turn the paper upside down. I announced my rental to my husband and he put it together. For the first time in almost two years, I was able to go on a stroll with him and my little dog. We were both smiling so hard, our faces hurt. The scooter I rented was not a high ticket item on the retail end, but it turns on a dime, manages gravel, speed bumps, and low inclines without much aid from me edging it up a hill, etc.The atmosphere at MedEx was fun and relaxing. The staff and I chided each other, discussed the Skinny, soy, no gluten, extra foam Starbucks latte on the latest segment of GOT, Jane Fonda, slugging vodka from her flask in a big box store, screaming for all to hear that she was NOT a cart person, on the show, “Grace and Frankie” and lots of other trivia and fun things. It made facing the fact that I am now and will forever be a ‘cart person’ a whole lot easier. As far as price goes, the rental per month was way below other rental places. I figured I needed the scooter for two to three months. I was surprised when I was charged in advance for all three months as there was a record of my card on file, but being me, I didn’t say anything. The excitement, the joviality, and the promise of the entire transaction had me in nirvana. My husband, not being present, did not share my nirvana, nor my closed mouth attitude at draining our checking account, just when the bills are due. I plan on working out a month to month payment in the morning. Since the atmosphere has been so friendly and professional thus far, I do not see a problem in fixing this to my spouse’s satisfaction.I really think that MedEx goes above and beyond normal retail expectations. As the equipment they are dealing in does not represent a super happy time in one’s life, acceptance comes easier due to the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. The showroom is quite attractive and many options available. As my body continues to rebel on me, I see myself returning to MedEx. Thank you all.Mary S. Munro
This medical supply store has a large selection of items from hospital beds, wheelchairs, scooters, power chairs, lifts, ramps, bath aides, lift chairs, and much more. If it’s not in store it most likely can be ordered. They offer technical services of trouble shooting and repairs. The store is clean and well organized for quick and easy service.I have shopped here and several other places for medical supplies and this one is my favorite by far. I recommend it to everyone I know having surgery, or needing some type of aide to make life easier.
Nice medical supply store. The people who work there are kind and helpful.
GREAT experience with the owner, very nice and very helpful, close and very convenient, they have all your medical needs buying or renting, go check them out 16009 Pacific ave next to old payless store on pacific ave!!
I was very happy with my experience here! They were very friendly, answered all my questions and was always happy to help.

Took the time to help me understand my options. Great customer service, thank you!
Just had best experience with the owner of this establishment. I purchased batteries for my mother in laws electric wheelchair and was having difficulties with the installation. He sent me diagrams and talked with me over the phone and walked me thru the process, mind you this was after hours and you just dont see that kind of customer service any more...we will definitely be back for all future wheelchair and scooter needs...
RIP-OFF ALert- Way OVER Priced!! They quoted $700 for batteries that cost 350 everywhere else. Its obvious a markup issue- I would not go to this place. They might as well tip you upside down until your money drops. Go somewhere else, odds are that you will pay less
This particular store is the worst medical supply company around. They sold me a oxygen machine for $250 and it didnt work 15 minutes. They will not make it right. He said he thought owner checked it out. Will not give me info on how to contact owner. Just says as is! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They do not care about there customers!
Quick & painless shoppping. Great selection
Came twice and half way checked out my chair for 90.00 some dollars. Said charger neededreplaced. Three weeks later charger shows yellow. Didnt complete fix on second try. Called no answer
They do not do medical insurance billing. Are people paying cash these days?
Had a great experience and service
Not open on weekends AT ALL.
