Once the date came for the service, my tech Robert was helpful with letting me know what to look for in the future with my door. Robert also let know that my garage door opener had a app that I could use, as well on how to operate it. Thank you for all that you have done.

When we woke up this morning we weren’t planning on our garage door essentially breaking and on the verge of collapsing on my wife’s vehicle.Fortunately we were able to get in contact with A1 and they scheduled a technician to come over ASAP. Our technician, Tyler was phenomenal!!!He was professional, caring, well educated on the scenario and made us feel very comfortable with the process.He explained what was happening and what our options were to solve it. We paid almost $1000 for 10 new rollers and a new spring. I feel we were excessively over charged. We will not be using them again.

This company is able to send someone out on weekends to accommodate my work schedule, a huge plus! Nate, who is my technician, was very careful and methodical in the installation of wall trim around my doors. The price was good also. The only thing I had to say was that the dispatcher did not tell me that they charge $20 for an estimate. Luckily I had a coupon in the mail that says free estimate and so they honored it. Other than that, I still highly recommend this company because of their quality work and good prices.

I contacted them because my garage door was malfunctioning. it would work intermittently but not all the time. the technician came out sold me rollers cost me almost $300 didn’t fix the problem now they say they only warrantee their work for 30 days and they refused to come back out without charging me again for a service call. stay away from these jokers

Unbelievable experience! If I had not asked family and friends for the advice and done my research I would be paying an extra $700 for the same garage doors springs. the polite young technician was very convincing and sincere in his stories and examples of how dangerous breakage of garage door springs can be. Unfortunately the information given to me wasnt true. The only truth I have received is that by paying over $1000 I will mostly pay for the Insurance. I asked him how long the company has been around to sell Life Time Warranty? He said Two Years... This definitely gave me assurance that this warranty will be valid for the long time. No thank you! How can you insure the spring? Count how many times you open and close doors? If there is a defect you will find out when the spring fell apart. I am just happy saving a lot of money with another company that been in business for over 50 years ...and they are not asking to pay for the insurance. This is just unnecessary and not cool to overcharge people and make it impossible for a lot of us to install new springs, so we can feel safer around our garage doors.

The gentleman that came to fix our garage door was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had no problem with him but I think your price is higher than other garage door repair services. I was charged 147.25 for less than an hours work. I feel that this is on the high end for an hours work. I will consider calling other service in the future.

Our garage door failed to open fully one night. One of the tracks had been bent somehow. We called A1 the next morning, and they were able to fit us into the schedule later that day after learning that we had a car stuck in the garage. Our technician, Robert, notified us about 30 minutes before his arrival, which was well within the promised window. After getting the garage open and our car out, he worked with us to assess the situation, develop a plan for repairs, and give us an estimate. After reviewing the estimate, we signed off on the plan and he set about making the needed repairs. All went according to plan and we again have a functional garage door, in better shape than it was to begin with! Robert was courteous, professional, friendly, and capable, and were very happy with the experience and the results.

I liked the text notification of the techs pending arrival. The service provided by the tech was thorough and the cost for the work was reasonable. Although we were outside he did not wear a mask and that is why I give them four stars.

-Door springs broke. car locked inside garage.-initial contact was with a live person by phone, very polite and helpful and was able to provide a quote and schedule a technician the same day.-Their information protocol is outstanding. I got texted who the Technician was and how far he was from my location.-when technician arrived he introduce himself and got to work intermediately on the job. Had all the parts in his working vehicle. Answered all my questions. Also found the 20 year old motor was not working as intended. Got a quote right of way and again parts on his car. He encountered issues with space on the ceiling in my garage and spend additional hours working in the project, couldnt finish the same evening and returned the next day to finish the job. never complained of the additional work. I was very impressed by his professionalism.-Great company and I highly recommend them.

Didnt fix the problem I initially called about. Focus was on up selling springs and rollers at exorbitant prices. Wanted to add a drivers fee for some extra work even though he was standing in my garage already. Charged a mobile convenience fee of 4% for using a credit card, which was not disclosed.

Fast service and technician was great. Company seems very sales-driven and parts are over priced. They will up-sell you on everything. I thought I was getting a $45 tune-up, as advertised, but theres a $20 service fee just to send the truck out. Whats the alternative? Pay the $45 and they dont send anyone out? Then I find out most of my garage door hardware was either low quality or worn-out and needed replaced. The work was good, just very expensive.

Ken was a nice guy and did his job quickly and professionally. The reason for the three stars was the $45.99 special. It ended up being $120. I felt it was a bait and switch. In the adds, just tell me what the price is. Rather than nickel and diming me.Update: Bruce from customer service contacted me after my three star review. He asked me why I gave a lackluster review. Long story short. He set up a new appointment with a man named Robert. He seemed very knowledgeable, and replaced the sensors, which seemed to do the trick. I still had to pay for the parts, but I was not charged the labor, showing up fee ECT. I do feel like they should redo the commercial with a flat price, but I do very much appreciate the level of customer service they provided.

The repairman called when he was on his way and asked me the price I was quoted to replace one broken spring. When I answered his comment back was I may need new bearing and cables also. Guess what, the first phone call to me after he arrived was I need new cables and the second phone call to me was I need new bearings. I met him there and he said I would need to sign a release and there would be no warranty for the spring if I didnt do it all and that 80-90% of the springs he replaces require bearings and cables (I dont doubt that!). The $150. job ended up costing $380. Im left feeling this was an artificial low original quote knowing more work would come from the job.

Shane was a very good tech, very personable and explained everything he was doing throughout the whole repair. He showed me where the bearings were worn and also a hinge that needed to be replaced before I had another problem later. I was very satisfied with Shanes work and I will be calling A1 in the future with any other garage door problems that I might have.

Showed up 2 hours late. He fixed my spring but then he said my motor wasn’t working and wanted to sell me a new one for $500. My 70 year old father fixed the motor. Technician did not wear a mask. He also said he would give me a 5 year warranty on my new spring but my paper work only said 3 years. Ripped off.
