Great store. A wall of new comics! Lots of $1 & $3 dollar comic books. Toys, statues, pops & a hoppin gaming area! Very nice!

Going there with our small one is always a pleasant experience. The employees are always nice to her and theyll ask her what her favorite pokemon is and then give her a card or two which makes her really happy. Theyve also ordered a comic book i wanted but didnt have.

Only place of its kind that makes you feel as welcome as they do. Always willing to help you find something or order it if they havent got it. Usually have a nice selection of items at reasonable prices. Love going here every chance I get

Anime/ manga section low/// In response to the owners reply its also not a very inviting environment when your employees are singing we are slaves to the minimum wage. In the future I will fully detail my experience. The first time I was in your store early pandemic it was quite nice, employees were kind and helpful.

A burg gem. Its expanded a lot on anime merchandise and video games over the years, though some prices are at retail prices. Their Dragon Ball stock is nuts!! Worth stopping at every couple of months.

Great variety and good prices, plus the coffee shop is a huge bonus! Also love the area for small kids. :)

Place is nice. The guy that usually runs the front counter didnt really seemed interested in helping me with anything. The owner seemed nice. But he was in the back. I feel like Im going to take my business elsewhere.

I love this place. This is a actually my favorite place in Spartanburg really. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is so welcoming to real fans of the comics or to anyone that just started. Real knowledgeable employees and my advice just check it out I promise youll see things you thought youd never see🤷🏾‍♂️

I LOVE this store. The staff is very chill and friendly, and they have the BIGGEST selection of tabletop miniatures I know of. Reaper Bones, D&D, they even started carrying Warhammer stuff. A wonderful selection of dice as well. They also carry Army Painter brand supplies, which is always a plus. Ive been a return customer for a few years now and I plan to keep it up.

I havent been to this store in a few years and decided to pop back in while I was in Spartanburg. I loved the new location and everyone was very helpful. I was able to find exactly what I wanted and was given recommendations for things I might like as well. Ill definitely be coming back as soon as I make my way over there.

The Tangled Web is in a bigger location now in the same plaza. The larger location is clean and inviting. Lots of comics and games and now has a large gaming area that is very inviting and has drinks and a coffee bar (why dont more stores have that???)If youre driving to or through Spartansburg this place is worth stopping off to visit.

I used to read and collect an insane amount of comic books and this was always my go to place. It definitely breaks the myth of the dingy dark comic shop, the Web has always had a very Fun welcoming vibe! Even though I don’t collect as fanatical as I did in my youth I still stop in to pickup a trade, Pop!, new D&D dice or let my son pick out a comic. It’s honestly a hidden gem of Spartanburg.

Best place ever they sell pokemon cards comics pretty much any pokemon ds game etc. best of all here you can actually buy sealed pokemon booster packs which you cant find them at walmart etc. the guy at the counter which i assume is daniel is super nice! the prices are not expensive at all in my opinion. 5 stars

This store is a cool place to visit, it has a great selection of comics, manga, cards and boardgames and the staff is very friendly.

While I didnt look through the comic book section, this place had a wide variety of board games that all looked very entertaining. The employee (maybe the owner) was genuinely interested in finding out what we were looking for but didnt push us to buy anything. Would definitely go back.

Every time Ive gone I receive exceptional service from all staff and their specialty espresso drinks are delicious. You can tell theyre passionate about what they do.

I have been to the Tangled Web a few times and every time was a great experience. Friendly staff, clean environment. Helpful staff as well. If you have questions they have no problem answering those questions. I will only go to the Tangled Web and I Highly recommend it for anyone who hasnt been there yet.

A good comic book and gaming store, with tables and miniatures for gaming.Their prices are high though. A new D&d book was being sold for the full list price of $50, so I instead bought it from Amazon for $30.

Friendly and helpful staff. They answered all my questions and even made sure I was buying the correct game accessories. Wish we had a place like this up north.

The best comic and game store in the Upstate! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Comics, games, ccgs,figures,statues, miniatures and painting supplies, pop vinyl, just plain awesome!

This is my favorite place to go in Spartanburg. The people who own the shop and work there have become like family and I couldn’t be happier to support them! They make what could just be a hobby a community.

Great selection of MTG products including singles, deck cases, playmat holders and more. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very low selection and staff that borders on rude, I felt like my business was all around unwanted. If you are unwilling to drive to Greenville to find a more reputable shop then I highly recommend buying these products online and save yourself the grief.

This place is way overpriced. They will get you of you let em. Will be following up with BBB complaint. Lost my business for life!

When you take something in they under charge you and when they put it out for sale they triple the price of it.

The fine folks at the Tangled offer an amazing selection of comics, games, board games, collectibles and more. That alone is worth five stars. What puts them in a class of their own is how friendly and welcoming they are. They also give back to our community in a variety of ways! :)

This is the place you go when you want to feel like family, where Daniel & everyone there is so friendly & kind. Even after stepping away from the comic scene for almost 10 years (having kids will do that) when I walked into the shop with my son, not only did Daniel remember me but he still remembered my comic series I used to love!This is the place youre comfortable with your kid hanging out in and learning all about the fun world of comics!

The store is aesthetically pleasing but make sure you get a second opinion from either second and Charles or another comic book store before you cash in on this place. I have sold items to this place tell me that I could only get 10 or $20 for a specific item sell it to them and then see it on the shelf for $120 a week later its very disappointing people get taken advantage of like this I enjoy the store I just wish it was more open and honest about pricing especially when youre trying to make another collectors dream come true other than that great store.

Ok so first off the staff there is very knowledgeable and the amount of board games,comics and collectibles they have is amazing. They even have gunpla (gundam model kits) they seemed to have a low stock of those but so do most places during this time. Dont hesitate to ask them a question if youre unsure of something. They are very friendly.

Great place! Most comic book stores around here arent kid friendly, but this place has a section for kids and my son loved it. They are very friendly. They gave us a fair price for magic cards we sold them they didnt try to low ball us. I will definitely go back 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

I recently moved back to town and I can say I truly missed this place, coming back was awesome. Great selection of comics from different publishers (marvel, dc, image, etc.,) Collectibles and pop culture items, and now board games (and if they dont have it they will get it for you!) The staff is super nice and helpful you never feel unwelcome. They have events on the weekends for games, and organize movie outings for the big genre relevant movies. I cannot say enough good things about this place, just go check it out.

Great local comic shop. They also have a great selection of board games plus packs and singles from popular trading card games. Its a great atmosphere to come and play tournaments for those games.

Tangled Web is always a pleasure to visit! You never know what cool collectibles you may come across. The staff is always fun and inviting, and now with the coffee bar I can enjoy a tasty Mocha while perusing my favorite comics!

Definitely one of my favorite places in town. They always have great collectibles, action figures, accessories, etc. Not to mention the massive amount of comics they have. Even if you arent a fan of superheroes, this place has all your nerd needs. And the fact that the employees are good company makes it even better. Highly recommend checking them out.

Purchased 2 transformers for grandson. They debited my credit card for $64.20 and because they were not suitable for a 3 year old took them back. The manager did a reversal to put the money back on my card but still not back in my bank 13 business days later. Got there money right away. Do not do business with these people. They dont call you back and it looks like small claims court is next

Nice staff

Not many comics available. Store seems mostly for gamers....not my thing but it looked like a cool place to play. I have more comics in my personal collection than they have on hand in store....not sure if that says more about me or about them lol

Like a Transformer this, comic book store is more than meets the eye. Many accessories for card game enthusiast, many collectibles DC Marvel and other various types. Very polite staff with a decent drink collection and coffee bar. Would highly recommend for an afternoon over Starbucks
