Arrived at Computer Doc at 10:20am on a Saturday morning with a laptop that would not allow very few applications to open. Left at 10:50am, laptop fixed and working wonderfully. I am a repeat customer and have always been very satisfied with the work performed at Computer Doc. I recommend it to everyone who mentions that they have computer issues.

John was able to order a computer battery for us. We were in the midst of a very rough emotional crisis, he completed our order with compassion and caring, and met our needs completely.

Our computer that runs a critical inspection machine at our machine shop died. The vendor was going to take over a week to turn it around. Enter Computer Doc. The day I brought it in he had parts ordered and just a little after that we had our machine up and running again for very reasonable price. This is the place to go if you need computer repair.

Computer Doc does excellent work at reasonable prices. He diagnosed and was able supply the replacement part for an arcade machine that uses a Windows 95 OS, doing this in less than a days time. He also did a Motherboard replacement for my main household PC. If you are having troubles with your computer, I highly recommend having Computer Doc take a look at it.

I went to three stores including Best Buy, with no luck, before coming here to upgrade the RAM on my laptop. I took the sticks home to install myself, but kept getting pings. So I brought them back with my laptop, and they installed a different stick that was compatible for my laptop. Very friendly and helpful.

We took our CNC laptop computer to Jon @ Computer Doc after another inept computer guy crashed it. He was able to recreate another laptop to use since we could not work without it. New parts are on order for the original computer. Jon is awesome, his prices are great and Ive nicknamed him Superman!! We very highly recommend Computer Doc.

I got my computer looked at by John a few months ago and only now getting to give my review.I took it to him after trying Office Depot and Best Buy first, and both of them said my hard disk was corrupted and data could not be recovered. I was reluctant to take my computer to a no name brand place because of a past bad experience at another computer place where they blithely told me that they lost my computer.Anyways, John was very helpful, affable and reasonably priced. He persisted with the laptop until we could recover at least part of the data. He replaced the hard disk and my computer still works 3 months after the repair - which to me is sufficient time lapse to call this repair a success and recommend him with 5 stars.

These guys are awesome. Had two computers repaired. One had crashed as a result of a power surge. The other was useless due to a bad virus. In both cases the machines were repaired promptly and at a very reasonable cost. John could not have been nicer. I highly recommend Computer Doc!

Brought my laptop to Computer Doc to upgrade RAM. Had to order parts. A week later he installed new RAM & made sure everything was working ok after install. He only charged me for the parts. Hes a great tech guy, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, & provides good service. Probably the only pc repair business that is honest and spend time to fix your computer without charging a fortune. Every other computer repair shop told me I would have to replace my motherboard for $600 or didnt even take their time to talk to me unless I had $60 just for a diagnosis

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.my computer was a mess and they helped unlock my cell phone. staff were easy to talk to and they take the time to explain things. prices were fair too. i will give my business to them again.

John really listened and asked questions as I explained the problem I was having with my laptop -- that alone is a step above. He went the extra mile to check everything over. The price for the service was fantastic, as well.

The touch screen went bad in my computer. Another repair store told me there wasnt anything they could do besides replace the touch screen, which wouldve been mad expensive. I brought it here and John fixed it for me and only charged 25$! Definitely bring your computer here for any repairs, this guy is legit.

This by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced!! I gave John my computer in May to be repaired, he made it seem as if the repair would be quick and done within a few a weeks maybe a month at the most. He told me he would contact me when the repair was made. Two months passed and I decide to go to the shop to check on my computers status because he did not contact me(As he said he would) at all with any updates. This cycle of him giving me the run around and claiming that he would have it fixed soon was repeated over the course of the summer until November! I gave him 6 months to make this repair and AT NO POINT did he call me and update me with the status of my computer! When I went to pick up my computer he still did not have it fixed and it was in pieces! AWFUL customer service by far the worst I have ever experienced. DO NOT take your computer here! I REPEAT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER ELSEWHERE!

They really know how to fix just about anything I brought two laptops and my desktop here and they fixed all three in 24 hours. I used geek squad, they took 3 weeks for one and didnt even fix it. I Highly recommend this place

EXCELLENT!!!! I work from home so I was pretty desperate to get my All-in-One desktops LCD screen back up and running after I mistakenly cracked it. An entire half of my screen was blank. I even attempted to have Best Buy fix it since they were who I BOUGHT the computer from but was kindly told we dont want to deal with something that difficult. I even had the part for them!! So I took it to Computer Doc who HAPPILY took my computer in and not only did they finish it with NO mistakes but they finished it in 1.5 hours!!! This is where to go if you are a small business owner, work from home employee, or just need some tech assistance in the area. They did a GREAT job and I am VERY happy with the results. They are also VERY reasonably priced.

John basically saved my small business today. The server computer that had all of my business information crashed. He was able to retrieve the information from the crashed computer and put it onto a new computer. He spent hours working on this problem, and when no one else thought the information could be salvaged, he saved it. And he saved my business along with it. I and my company are forever indebted.

John@ Computer Doc told me my new Lenovo had a bad hard drive. Best Buys Geek Squad, which is an authorized Lenovo repair company, said it had a Software problem .This was the 2nd computer in 9 months, since Office Depot had already replaced the 1st one in Dec. Computer Doc said the drives were bad in that particular Lenovo product. I returned it and had him to fix my old computer for $300. He said me time and $$ all around. Ill never buy another new computer again. Computer Doc can fix all your problems.

My computer had viruses and wouldnt run well due to certain entertaining websites I go to so they fixed it the next day and now it runs as fast as it did when it was new. Gave me some advice to use antivirus software and now I can go to my websites with ease.

My laptop was trash for a while but he had it fixed within less than 24hrs :) If you first look to Geek Squad at Best Buy like I did, dont even bother with them because theyre ridiculous and so are their rates (and they want you to join their membership which is like an additional $150 or something). Jim Murphy and Computer Doc are priceless resources for a small business. I have a small business that is heavily computer-dependent, so you can imagine my panic when my computer suddenly went black and started to make a noise like a small plane. I found Computer Doc because of the earlier positive reviews, and couldnt be happier. I dropped off my dead computer at 8:30 in the morning, and Jim had a new one ready to go, with all my files loaded on it, by 2:30. He also talked me through the one problem I had with the new computer. And, the cost was very reasonable. Cant thank him enough. By the way, he does make house calls--just made more sense to take my computer to him in the circumstances.

Im a part time dj and John always has what I need, always. I have no idea why people are complaining about this place cause I have never had a problem with this guy. I looked him up again to see his number and I saw all the negative comments. I know he gets busy and cant take everyones call. Ive been coming here for six years. I brought my mac for him to repair on Friday and got a call back in 2 hours, he already had my back it was good to go the same day.

I couldnt have chosen a better computer repair shop!! I took my laptop in and it was experiencing errors when trying to boot. The owner, John, helped me out without a problem. He took the computer in and said that hed diagnose the problem for free and said it could take 1 to 2 days. The next day, he called and described the problem to me, confirming if I would like to go ahead with the fix. Two days after I brought it in, it was all fixed up. Im beyond satisfied with the quality of work that I received and the price was nearly half of what i was quoted at other stores. Thanks Computer Doc!

When I called and dropped my computer off, I was told it would take 24-48 hours to have the hard drive in my Apple desktop replaced. It ended up taking them almost 3 weeks. I called every single day to check on it, and every day there was a new excuse as to why it wasnt finished. (That was if they answered the phone) There were multiple days where I would leave a message and no one would call me back. Twice, we stopped in to talk to them and they were closed when there hours said they were open. When I received my desktop back, the screen is uneven with the bottom piece of my computer, which makes me believe the wrong screen was actually put back onto my computer? He said they had to remove the screen and glue it back on to replace the hard drive.My computer works now, but the customer service lacked any sort of remorse what so ever. I would not use this company again.

John is the greatest when it comes to computers, he will fix it!! If its not fixable, he will try to buy it for parts that are salvageable.

Jon and his crew fixed my old HP Pavillion laptop, after I had dropped it on the ground, then accidentally stepped on it. It took a few days, but it was worth it. That laptop means the world to me. I also came here with an old piece of garbage Alienware desktop. I always panic when my electronics break, because I work from home, but when my laptop broke, I thought my world was going to end. They explained everything they were doing to my laptop, and have me price estimates whenever I asked, which honestly were cheaper than Geek Squad. I was a little bit skeptical at first, but Im really glad I didnt spend the $300 I would have at Geek Squad.

So apparently they can not find my computer. I have been constantly calling and checking on it. I was told that it was in the warehouse. The owner that used to run it has died and its under new ownership. All within a years time. But like I said I have been constantly calling over a year. Everytime I go, I get the same generic response let me take your name and number and I will call you within a day or two and I have heard nothing. So I called up there Tuesday to check to see whether they had it or not and now Im getting told they dont have it. That it was either sold, put into scraps or thrown away. So I got frustrated with the rude receptionist who should not be in customer service as I state, because thats not something you do to customers property, she hung up in my face. So I went up there. Then when I ask for the new owner who I actually gave my computer too at the old location m, now all of a sudden hes on a lot of house calls and a hard man to get into contact with. So I was told again on Tuesday the same generic response they would call me back. So yesterday I decided to go up there and lo and behold I had to deal with the rude receptionist again and I got the same response they dont have it. No one let me know that for one they moved to a new location, two that the previous owner had died and three that they had to go through probate to get the company back. Now after a year of constantly checking on my computer, which is ironic cause the owner described it to the tee, now its no where to be found and the last I heard about it being fixed was that he was waiting on the part to be shipped and that they had recieved the wrong part the first time. So now Im out of a computer. I thought this was a good honest business but I assume not. I will not recommending this business to anyone else. Especially since I still dont have my computer as of today. Matter of fact Im still waiting on a call.Update: so I got in touch with the owner and found out I was lied to. He have me the previous owner wifes number which was incorrect. So me being me, i researched uer and got in touch with her and come to find out, the previous owner Jim Murphy have been dead going on 4 years now. And computer doc was never in probate court.. also John told me that he had a grey copy of my computer when actually they only made two colors white and black. The only reason I know is because I bought the last white one from best buy going on four years ago. So I have been scammed out if a computer basically. U would not deal with company if I was anybody

Unprofessional. Was told product.was available aand then not.repeatedly. inventkry system is non-exisitent. Was yelled at hung up on wnen i tried to voice my frustration. Really dirty inside. Saw owner digging through carboard box for a cpu. Wouldnt but anytjing from this establishment.

My mother took her $400 Asus Laptop to John Austin here at Computer Doc. She told him she needed ONE thing fixed & that was the side of the laptop that was coming off its clinger. We left. Couple days later we return & theres MORE PROBLEMS!!! He said Windows 10 wouldnt boot up properly& he had to install it. Mind you, that HE ONLY HAD TO FIX A TINY PART DETAIL OF THE LAPTOP. He then tells my mother that theres something wrong the BIOS. When then explained to Mr. Austin that NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE LAPTOP WHEN WE BROUGHT IT TO HIS SHOP!!! My mother told him shes taking her laptop by this point she was frustrated at the So Called Computer Wizard because he completely destroyed her laptop. We told him AGAIN AND AGAIN that the laptop was perfectly fine before it was sent his way via Intel from a person that gave his location because she stated he was one of the best. YEA RIGHT.. but back to this review my mother gave him the consideration of trying to fix it AGAIN.. Came back a couple days LATER and he tells us the MOTHERBOARD HAS CRASHED OHMYGOSHHH .. PATHETIC!! He said he can order a motherboard for her laptop and it doesnt have to be the specific model of her laptop. I was like pause because if your so smart you would know .. THAT YOU CANT USE A MOTHERBOARD THATS MADE FOR HP FOR A ASUS LAPTOP IT HAS TO HAVE COMPATIBILITY. So he said give him some time .. WE DID. .. for the final trip down there my mother went back and the keyboard was detached from the laptop both of the sides were up when she only instructed him to fix the hinges on ONE SIDE. To end this he messed up my mothers BIOS, MOTHERBOARD, KEYBOARD, BOOT STRATEGY, HINGES ON BOTH SIDES & HARD DRIVE. Please dont take your laptop to this man, or any other electronic device if you ever hope to see it start up AGAIN!!
