I have been with them since March and received my first replacement order in about a week. The second order was placed over a month ago and it still has not shipped. I ask if I should find someone else to supply me and the answer was yes if that’s what you want to do. I’m not sure that’s the best answer when dealing with medical supplies that provide valuable health care, but I guess people don’t care anymore it just becomes a job to them!
Was quoted one price on the phone for a new chair. Once in store, it was used and the same price. Horrible customer service.
The big sign in their window of their storefront says “ Caring for people, Caring for you” Ha! Shame on them to be a company that is supposed to help folks get healthier. My lung Doc prescribed a Bi-pap (Cpap) for my sleep apnea in mid November 2020. I heard from Medi Home Carecompany once about 11 days later and the lady calling advised me they had received the order and I would be hearing from them shortly. After no contact, I called a couple weeks later, the lady that answered could not even confirm if they were the medical supply company that had called me. I called again after another 10 or so days, and spoke with a different lady who said they had submitted the order for insurance approval on 11/30. I called again mid December to find out status, and received no response. Here it is 44 days later on 12/29/2020 and I still have received no notice nor contact and I still do not have my cpap. Hope I don’t pass way from sleep apnea before they get off their rear ends and get me a cpap. This extremely poor service makes me think… if this is the service they offer before the sale, what kind of service can I expect after the sale.?01-15-21 Update from earlier review. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. I spoke with them again today and feel I have been misled and mis advised on what actions they have done to get me my CPAP device, None of what they claimed matched up with my call notes. I am OCB about these things and keep detailed documentation of every interaction, especially after having a major heart attack and hospitalization in early 2020. With almost 200 k in medical bills, every medical professional and provider I was billed from after my heart attack had zero problems with my insurance company, and all claims were paid promptly by BCBS. I was so pleased with my BCBS Anthem handling of those bills that I certainly believe BCBS when they told me they have not heard from this company ever submitting a claim request. Thus, I advised this medical supply company today that I will ask my doctor to order my device from a different supplier and utilize their services and they hung up on me. If I could give zero stars for my review I would have done so.
The staff in Spartanburg were great; very friendly and explained everything well!
Our family received excellent service! Our new Jazzy was delivered in a timely manner. They were able to work a significant discount since we paid cash and avoided insurance or Medicare. They kindly waived the delivery fee, knowing that all family lived out of town from the elderly member who they were servicing for us. They took the old Jazzy chair back to their shop and repaired and cleaned it up and delivered it back to our address so that we could advertise its resale. They communicated clearly and returned phone calls and inquiries. We are pleased and helped! The front desk help or answering service was not particularly impressive, but once through that layer the others were wonderful and very helpful.
After you purchase you have poor customer service. If you have a problem or question no one cant help you or has a clue how to help except the person originally waited on you. This is the 21st century. Apparently they dont make any notes about your order or records so anyone else can help you. They are very inefficient.Update: dealing with the head company is horrible also! I ordered my supplies two weeks ago. They come with the device when you purchase it, you have to reorder your free refillable supplies yourself. They have not arrived yet. I called the company. They have no record of my order. I called last Friday she said someone will get back. so I figured theyd call before the end of the day, Wrong! So I called this afternoon they have no record of me calling to check on Friday either! So I asked to speak to the manager. Shes not available but I can help you. So I reorder again. I told the girl when I was finished. I want the manager to call me. Will she call me before the end of the day? She said um, I really not sure but Ill tell her you called. This is a horrible company. Ive had no problem with the machine. Its the organization.
Worst experience at one of the most critical times of our lives.Received a used lift from this company and dealt with the manager, Mark. Lift was delivered to us and after a couple of days(before my mom came home), my brother noticed one of the wheels was crooked. If he had not noticed it, we could have used it with our mom and it could have failed, causing more injury.I spoke with Mark, they replaced the lift with a new, different, one. When we lifted my mom to move her to the chair, the wheel would not spin - it would roll, but it would spin. My dad said it was a bearing that is bad. We had to drag it and her across the floor to the chair.I called the office and a receptionist answered and told me we would have to wait until tomorrow. I explained my mother needs to be put back to bed - what happens if we cant get her there or this thing causes further injury? She transfered me to the manager, Mark.I explained the situation, again. He basically said there was no way it could fail - it would have to be the way we are using it.I told him he had a failure right here and he could listen to the faulty part over the phone or come change it out. NEGATIVE!!!Needless to say, they are getting the second faulty lift back, we are going to inform the insurance company, and do business with a more reliable, caring company.Whoevere owns this company should reconsider who manages it for them. I will warn everyone i care about - everyone i come in contact with... WARNING!!!!
I’ve always been very pleased with Medi Home Care, not once have I felt un-important . Tammy has always been very polite and caring. Randy (big guy ) has been my delivery guy for the longest and I’ve missed seeing his sweet smile and disposition, but the guys that I’ve had so far, have all been very kind. I wish I knew the one that came out the last two times, and today, he is very kind, good mannered and did his job very well . Also James has been a wonderful delivery guy. All in All This Lady is Very Pleased .... 🙂🙂🙂 Keep up the good work . Thanks so much, Leslie Rollins
This facility has some of the most amazing and caring people working here. I was in desperate need of a part for a wheelchair for my friend; they went out of their way to help me out. I just can’t imagine anybody saying anything bad about this company. Unfortunately, service like this isn’t common anymore. I’d like to give a huge thank you to Patrick for his time and effort today.
Poor customer service, lies about delivery of product. You talk to a different person each time you call. Even when you walk in to place an order for supplies, check to see if you owe anything or pay any copay they still cant deliver. If you ask to talk to a supervisor or person in charge they are conveniently out of the office.
When I was in there everyone was very nice!!! Man that helped me made sure I understood everything about my cpap machine before I left and even checked in on me several times to make sure everything was going good!!!!!
Poor customer service. Poor phone etiquette when needing answers to questions. Acted so though they were doing you a favor by just answering the phone .
Very hard to deal with. Never gets back with you. Very dissatisfied !!!!
Terrible group. Zero communication! You call and call and call, wait and wait and wait. Then fed up you try to switch to another group and learn you and your equipment are contracted to them. Terrible.
