Visited Dr. Kennedy for the first time and had a pleasant experience. He was very informative and explained things to me that I did not understand about my eyes. I would definitely recommend Lifetime Eyecare if you are looking for an Optometrist in Spearfish SD or the surrounding areas.

They are great guys! They rescued my eye. I had a severe chemical burn of the cornea after plaster putty got there. Over time, the plaster was incorporated into the cornea and it was a periodically opening wound and terrible pain. They solved the problem in the best possible way! I also have my favorite glasses from them, which I have been wearing for two years now and work great in them! Today they fixed them for me for free!

Superior care from all staff. I have been wearing glasses for 25 years. Because we have moved often I have been to many eye doctors. I have not been unhappy with my former care. I have no hesitation in recommending Lifetime Eyecare as a superior experience. I never feel like Dr. Hauge is in a rush to move on. He answers all my questions in easy to understand detail. I really like that he does not recommend new glasses or more appointment if he believes I do not need it.Two things attracted me to make an appointment to this practice. 1. They advertise free exams to children in need. 2. Plastic. This practice allows you to refill your lens cleaner bottle. Not that big of a deal, but it means I can use less plastic.

Knowledgeable, polite, and just darned nice people. This was perhaps the best, most in-depth, eye exam I have had in my adult life. (Im 62.) The doctor was intelligent and caring, and the staff were helpful and courteous. I couldnt ask for better care.

I was beyond happy and grateful for the service I received from Lifetime Eyecare! I was on vacation in Deadwood and got a bad eye infection. It was a Saturday morning and they called the eye doctor in to come see me. He called me as soon as he got back into the office and saw me right away! They saw me right away after an accident with broken glass! I called the eye clinic and told them that I had just had an accident moving a glass table! I was worried that glass was in my eye. The front office told me that I could come to the business to be seen right away. I arrived and as soon as the eye doctor was done with the current patient in the exam room, he saw me right away. I was so worried about my eyes. He completed a thorough exam and advised me about my eyes. I left with some eye drops as well that day. They were amazing. I would recommend this place!! Fast comprehensible service and anxieties put to rest!

I was having issues with my eyes. Called Lifetime Eyecare and told the receptionist the problems I was having. The entire staff at Lifetime Eyecare do all that they can to make my visits professional, efficient, pleasant, and easy. At my last visit, my husband and I had to stagger our exams because we had a new young dog that could not be left alone. Not only did everyone work with us to stagger our visits, but they also reminded us that Lifetime Eyecare was dog friendly so that we could bring her in to avoid the July sun, if needed. Everything was done on-time, very professionally and thoroughly, and most courteously. Everything was clearly explained to me. I will certainly continue to trust my eyes to Lifetime Eyecare.

Everyone working at Lifetime Eyecare is friendly and knowledgeable. They do their best to communicate with their patients, and do so with a variety of media so the more tech-savvy can use a simple form online to secure that next check-up, or a less technically-involved person can use a simple phone call. Either method is prompt and gets you in.Only complaint is very long wait times. However, with the quality of service, its been well worth the wait each time.

This has been my eye doctor for almost 30 years. Over the years they have always managed to take care of me. They have great doctors, great care and wonderful variety of glasses.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment seems to be very up-to-date. If I have any type of issue that needs to be addressed quickly, they get me in to see the eye doctor as soon as possible.

35 years of great service. Including treatment for glaucoma, cataracts, near sightedness and eye injury. I would have been blind without their expertise, diagnosis and professional service both in the office and recommendations to appropriate evaluations and eye surgeons. The most significant was the early diagnosis of glaucoma that did not reveal its presence utilizing ordinary pressure testing.

As always, we receive the absolute BEST care from everyone at Lifetime Eyecare. They are professional, up to date on all procedures, kind, thorough and fun!
