Took my car to have a problem fixed told mechanic what codes were pulled. First time took 2 weeks got car back dirty muddy foot prints on carpet gas ran out. And greasy finger print on the interior. Receipt to a restaurant inside. They stated drove it to make sure problem was fixed. Ignition lock changed. Wouldn’t start. Took back was charged $300 more to supposedly change distributor and a problem he created plus crossed wires and had to disconnect the horn as it kept going off. When got car back again had 14 gallons when it was towed in 3 when returned to me. Running rough.

Great service, Great price. Great all the way around. I dont just take my vehicles their I have my family and friends take theirs also and all are happy.

I want to personally apologize for that previous review. Joe taught my husband a lot for hot rods and project cars. I’ve been having issues with impatience but doesn’t give me the right to write a bad review. Joe does an incredibly good job when it comes to cars whether it’s a hot rod project or your everyday car. I recommend him to anyone who needs work on their car.

Hes such an amazing guy and works with people I wont take my cars anywhere else well trusted and wont rip you off like most shops

JOE HILDERBRAND DOES NOT HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CONCERN FOR YOUR VEHICLE OR YOU..AFTER 2 1/2 WEEKS I FIGURED OUT NO-ONE WAS GOING TO FIX MY TRUCK. I WENT TO PICK IT UP, BUT INSTEAD OF BEING LOCKED UP LIKE I HAD SPECIFICALLY ASKED....I FOUND THAT IT WAS LEFT UNLOCKED, UNSECURED, WITH THE KEYS SUPPOSEDLY LEFT IN IT, THE CLUB I BOUGHT WAS LEFT LYING ON THE FLOOR. JOE FAILED TO FIND MY KEYS.JOE SHOWED ABSOLUTELY NO CONCERN FOR MY TRUCK, MY KEYS, NOR ME. HE JUST CONTINUED WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE SAID GET LOST DUDE. I FOUND OUT LATER HE WAS ACTUALLY DOING A LOWERING KIT ON HIS PERSONAL TRUCK WHILE NEGLECTING MINE. A NEW CUSTOMER WITH PLENTY OF WORK FOR HIS SHOP...I HAD TO RE-KEY MY DOORS AND IGNITION, I BOUGHT A NEW CLUB LOCK. HE OWES ME $250 FOR RE KEYS AND A CLUB.2ND) MY ENGINE RAN PERFECTLY SMOOTH BECAUSE I HAD JUST TUNED IT UP BEFORE DROPPING IT OFF, IT RAN HORRIBLE ON THE WAY HOME..... TOOK ME AWHILE TO FIGURE OUT...BUT I FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE ALTERNATOR WENT BAD AND IS WHAT WAS WRONG. SO EITHER HE SWAPPED IT OUT, HE JUMP STARTED SOMEONE AND SHORTED IT OUT, OR A GOOD ALTERNATOR MAGICALLY WENT BAD AT HIS SHOP.3) THE FACT THERE ARE GREASY HAND PRINTS SMEARED ON THE FRESHLY WAXED PASSENGER DOOR HANDLE AREA, TELLS ME SOMEONE WENT FOR A RIDE AND/OR WAS IN IT....WHY?ALSO...THE OREILLYS AUTO PARTS RECEIPT FOR A DODGE STARTER INSIDE IT, TELLS ME SOMEONE FOR A RIDE....WHY?IM NOT SURE WHY JOE DIDNT JUST FIX MY TRUCK AND GET PAID

5 star service! We were staying in the Spokane Valley for a couple of days and ran into some alternator issues the last night we were in town. I called Hilderbrand Auto the next morning, too late that evening, and spoke to Joe. I explained our situation and he said he would be able take a look. We had the car towed to his shop, thanks AMA, and he looked at it right away. He mentioned he needed to get an alternator brought in so it would take a couple of hours. Knowing I had no vehicle and the hotel was close, he offered to drop me off and once the work was complete he picked me up. We were back on the road that morning for the 8 hour drive to Alberta Canada. Our car made the trip with no issues and has been running great since. Thanks Hilderbrand Auto for the awesome service experience!

5 stars best auto service shop Ive ever been to. Honest prices, excellent work, if I didnt know better I think he actually cares about safety and reliability on our roadways. Recommend this place to anyone who has a hard time trusting those other lousy shops. Great quality work and honest prices. Dont get suckered by those other high prices places.

Love this place! Always giving the best deals for quality work done in a timely fashion! Im hoping people havent been discouraged from going down to Hilderbrands because of the last review. I personally know what happened (guy buys cheapest headlights and brings them in only to have them installed, you get what you pay for and cant really be upset because the cheap head lights you bought arent top of the line halos after installation....lol) and his review does not do this local shop any justice. Its hard enough to be a small local business, put a hateful untrue review on top of that and its not good for anyone. Support local business!
