I LOVE this place. They make the best smoked salmon and nova lox in town. Everything is always fresh and super delicious. You can buy single bagels and bagels by the dozen, wide variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors. 10/10 would highly recommend!

I found this place by happy accident and immediately ordered the Bagel Dog- WOW! Its phenomenal. The quality of their bagels is outstanding and the all beef hot dogs delicious. I shouldve gotten two. Wonderful place, good service, fair pricing. I think next time Ill order some bagels to go as well. Dont pass on this place!

I have loved this place since I found it a decade ago. It is a staple to the GU neighborhood and the best bagels in town! They have many types of smear and also sandwiches on delicious bread! I drive completely out of my way to go here because it’s just worth it!

I am so impressed by this place, I highly recommend. I tried them once about 5 years ago, and I loved them then. Ive been weary about going out to eat anywhere during this pandemic, but I am SO impressed with how clean this place is. I am thoroughly impressed with how serious this restaurant is taking health precautions, and I feel completely safe here. Not to mention the FOOD IS PHENOMENAL. Everything is hand made, and the quality proves that. The employees and owner are so welcoming and happy to be here, and that shows in the quality of their products. Highly recommend.

Always a good bagel. Great service. Good schmears. Ultimate has to be Spokanes oldest bagel shop, I have been getting their bagels for over 25 years. They have been at my kids Bat and Bar Mitzvah, bris and other life cycle events. Next Bar Mitzvah is in 2 weeks, Ultimate will be there.

For Spokane standards these are really good bagels!That bring said I do feel like there was too much cream cheese, it was difficult to even taste the Asiago bagel that the cream cheese was supposed to be accentuating.The bagel itself was huge and a bit dense, for some people this will be heaven but its just not my preferred type. The bagel was also slightly bland? It needed a bit more salt and because the bagel was so thick it was difficult to really taste the Asiago in the sea of bagel dough. I would have rated 4 stars had I been able to actually taste that is was an Asiago bagel instead of it just feeling like I was eating a hunk of plain bagel drowning in cream cheese.

The worst. I added tomato to a breakfast sandwhich and got the thinest tomato and smallest possible. The garlic bagel is SO small compared to the Asaigo but same costs... and I am pretty sure they microwaved the ingredients to heat up 🤢 so pricey for what it is 👎

This place is absolutely delicious! My husband and I are addicted to their Zegg and LOX breakfast sandwiches! We get both and share. We have never had a bad experience and the staff is always so friendly. Oh did I forget to mention YOU MUST TRY THE SNICKERDOODLE BAGLE WITH HUCKLEBERRY CREAM CHEESE!!!!!

I ordered the eggcelent breakfast sandwich - egg, tillamook cheddar and Canadian bacon on a sesame seed bagel. Pretty simple breakfast sandwich for $6, but it was good. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars was because it was a little deceiving about the prices. I ordered an extra blueberry bagel to go, which single bagels are listed for $2 on the menu, but it came out to be $5.39 for that extra bagel and side of cream cheese. Other than spending almost $12 for a quick bite where I was hoping to spend $7-8, it was still decent. I wish they would warn customers better if they are gonna be ordering something that is more expensive than whats listed. Paying almost $6 for a blueberry bagel and a small side of cream cheese is too much

They are not bagels, to thick and very little taste. I cut them in half and I ate it the tops and through the rest in the garage. got better ones at Safeway and yokes. very displeased.

This place is way over priced. I’m from here but have lived in New York for 15 years and was hoping this place would satisfy my craving but I wanted a bagel scooped with lox and they said that they don’t scoop their bagels. Cost me 24 dollars for 2 bagels that I didn’t end up even eating. If you are a bagel fanatic you can skip this place.

The bagels were amazing. The traditional bagel & lox combo was amazing. We had an array of bagels and flavored cream cheeses and they were all good. My 10 year old raves about the huckleberry cream cheese. The garlic cream cheese was amazing as well. Defiantly worth the trip and if you live close grab some flavors to keep in your own fridge!

Their bagels are more of a biscuit bagel hybrid. We got a bagel sandwich and a cinnamon toasted bagel, both were ok but nothing special, wouldve preferred most fast food breakfasts.

Too doughy. Asked for twice toasted and my bagel was not even warm. Tried the hotdogs as well and that was super doughy as well. Would not come back.

Would like a vegan sandwich option or vegan crean cheese option. They have a veggie sandwich but would have to remove the cheese to make it vegan. And them i would just be veggies and a dry bagel. The bagel was very good on its own though. Moist and dense.

I have been eating good bagels all my life. These are the worst bagels I have ever put inside my mouth. I was so sad and disappointed. Dry and way too thick and bready. Grocery store bagels are far superior. So sad the good bagel store closed.

Oh my word, these were the best bagels that I have ever had. Fantastic service. I loved everything about this place. If you want a bagel go to ultimate bagel, because these are truly the ULTIMATE BAGEL.

They are a great local shop next to campus. They still use the traditional boiling method for their bagels and it just works. Their lox bagel is great, but they shouldnt charge extra for capers, they are essential. Great place with super friendly staff. Give it a shot, you wont regret it.

Very large and substantial bagels, so take that into account, if looking at prices.However, regarding pricing, since the idea of their discount on six- and twelve-packs is to stimulate sales, its counterintuitive that they would revert to individual-bagel pricing for bagels numbering 7-11, and 14-19 (13th is considered a freebie when purchasing a dozen). Im sure it doesnt prevent significant sales, but when my wife orders her dozen, Id order a few extra for myself, each time, but not for forty-five precent more than shes paying! (Shes pays $1.38 apiece, Id have to pay $2.00 apiece to add on to the order).

Huge bagels wicked good and the proper amount of cream cheese.

This is the only place in Spokane that I have found authentic New York style bagels. They have a pretty good variety, all freshly made daily, along with a huge variety of scratch made spreads and creative sandwich ideas to go with them. Good for breakfast or lunch.

My wife and I love to eat here after church. They have a HUGE assortment of bagels AND cream cheeses. I think it would probably take someone a year to try the different combinations. They also do bagel-wichs in case you want something more filling. It can also be a quieter atmosphere than the Starbucks right next door. Coffee and bagels, just remembering this wants me to get more.

The gold standard for bagels in Spokane! I love how thick and dense they are, but oh so tasty too!

The quality of the food did not match the high price and communication left something to be desired. I asked for the vegetarian bagel sandwich with avocado and had to repeat my order several times, item by item, as I wasnt being listened to so I explained that Im a vegetarian to which I was asked if I wanted the bacon..normally this kind of misunderstanding doesnt bother me but I felt I was not being heard at all. Clear communication and listening is so important in providing quality customer service.

Building looks run down from the outside, but the interior is friendly. The bagels in the display case had removable signs which said if the blue signs are up we still have this flavor, and most of the bins were empty. There was still a decent selection, but Ive got to say, Id rather be able to see the bagels when Im picking my flavor, especially if I havent been there before. Had their ultimate breakfast bagel, which had a manufactured-looking scrambled egg, cheese, and one single thin slice of ham. I dont mean a serving of ham, I mean a single slice of luncheon meat. It did have Tillamook cheese.While the bagels seemed to be handmade and better than anything Ive found in the Seattle area, they arent at the top of my list.

Its hard to beat scratch made bagels and this local spot always hits the mark. A favorite of the Gonzaga community, this shop has been going strong for a number of years because the bagels are great, the service top notch, and you always feel like a regular even if you only stop by occasionally. If your looking for a breakfast or lunch item, this is the place to go.

I love love love love this place.Bagels are made fresh everyday, so they have an early closing hour because thats when they usually sell out of all their bagels. The owners husband goes into the shop 3am everyday to make his bagels fresh, and then stores a bunch in the back, once those are gone, its gone.They have a bunch of options also a butt load of cream cheese options, regular ones as well as Lite ones. They are very generous with their cream cheese, they do charge you for it but I was a first timer, they gave me my choice of cream cheese without charge.Theyre friendly and helpful and supportive of your choices, also, give you advice on what they think is good/popular in the store.Its right by Gonzaga, it is trapped in an awkward plaza making parking a little difficult. but dont let that stop you, Id recommend this place for sure!

This place is amazing. I went today and had an Asiago bagel with bacon and chive lite cream cheese. It did not taste light! It was amazing! The bacon didnt taste cheap like you usually get other doughnut places, and the bagel was so fresh. It was fluffy but dense at the same time almost. For me, it was one of those places that every other bite I took, I said, man this is good. So Im very happy cause I love bagels and cream cheese and now have a favorite place to get fresh ones: )

Im not a huge bagel connoisseur, but Ultimate Bagel (UB) has some tasty bagels. Also, they care about their customers, which for me, determines whether or not Ill go to a place a second time. I had a misplaced order for a bagel sandwich the other day, but I didnt mind because it was still a tasty sandwich. The folks working at UB caught their mistake and offered me a discount on my next visit. I didnt even say anything, they offered to make it right on my next visit. Yeah, good food + fantastic service = a repeat customer.

At first I was sad when Starbucks moved out next door, but I realized UBs coffee is just as good and parking is better

Staff is friendly, selection is great, products are Kosher, locally owned for over 20 years. There is a reason they are the oldest specialty bakery of there kind in town I know of, try them you will come back!
