I took my mom to Extra Beauty this past Saturday as she fell extremely ill 6 months ago and is now well enough to leave her home but in the midst of her illness she has lost 90% of her hair. It was a bit overwhelming when we entered as there is a LOT of product and inventory to navigate around but our experience at Extra Beauty was beyond exceptional. The staff was kind and knowledgeable as this was our first time making a wig purchase. The quality of the wigs we purchased was excellent and affordable. I highly recommend Extra Beauty.

HUGE selection of black hair care products!Wigs, extensions, grease, oils, edge control, and much much more!The owners / employees are very knowledgeable and helpful.This is the only place in all of Spokane that I will shop for my mixed kids hair products.Decent prices and a very large selection of products to choose from.

This is the best place ever, I’ve gotten plenty of wigs but somehow I keep coming back here. We have an endless supply of beautiful magical weaves wigs extensions, everything that you can think of that you need for your hair. The customer service is amazing. Do not believe the bad reviews because this is the best place in Spokane. Also the customer service I still can’t get over how amazing it was it felt like home💕

The experience was great! The remodel looks wonderful I was surprised. Much more spacious and a wider variety of beauty products. So if youre into beauty and looking good Extra Beauty is the go to place. MEN also go check it out!

Great experience. They were very patient while I made my decision and were very helpful. The wig couldnt be tried on so it was hard to figure out what I really wanted. I went with one that costed more. Im hoping it lasts longer then the last one

Terrible customer service. I just spent $145 on three wigs. I live five minutes away. I went home and one of the wigs looked terrible, so I immediately drove back and asked to exchange it. They refused. I’m never shopping there again.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. I knew nothing about wigs and they had the patience to explain and show me what products I needed and were even concerned with how expensive it was going to be. Definitely will be returning here to get more great wigs.

Extra beauty may be a small store but they always have everything I need! Definitely would recommend if you live in the Spokane area.

I came from Montana and left Extra Beauty with the BEST experience ever! I was looking for a human hair topper they not only had what I wanted but the topper itself was the perfect color match and great pricing. I love the mom and daughter that work there. Im in here once sometimes twice a month to buy braiding hair and they are always the sweetest and even help me pick colors for myself.

Went there today. Was not sure after reading reviews however, had the best experience ever. The lady was so nice and was so helpful to a newbie to having a wig. Helped me try some on as whas not sure about style and colors and what would look good. Well, i walked out with 2!! Thank you so much for all the wonderful help. Will definately be back!

My first experience in a hair shop other than some snobby store in the valley. They were sweet as pie and had a collection too big to take in during Just one trip. I will most definitely be back quite a bit in the coming months. I was sent there by a pro to pick up her recommendation for product and enjoyed every moment. The owners were the cutest couple and very helpful. Ill be back.

The owner is not good with returning dirty braid hair.

I am a cancer patient who didnt know what to expect because this is very unfamiliar territory for me. The young woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and kind. She went the extra mile to help me find something that would work for me.

Aweful, aweful, aweful!!First time in buying a wig so how do I know what style and color looks good on me??? I tried on 4 wigs with certainly not much help and no information offered. And she let me know in no certain terms that I was WAY over my limit in trying on 3 wigs. NOT a good first experience. Very UNPLEASANT experience. They were playing Christian music which I wish they wouldnt. Gives Christians a bad name when they treat their customers so poorly!

If I could give less then 1 star I would!The owners of this store are horrible. I went in with my friend and I had a lingering cough from being sick a few MONTHS ago. I made sure to cough into my elbow every time and didnt touch the wigs except for the two I was debating on just to be respectful. The woman followed my friend and I around spraying LYSOL on and around us every few minutes!!! It was burning our noses after a while so we left without buying the $70 wig I wanted. Absolutely ridiculous

Great hair products limited on hair pomades and brushes and wave caps.

So the first time was fine when I went. They didnt seem very bothered and greeted me kindly. However, the two other times were less than satisfactory. The third time I had went in there, they had said that one of their wigs was for display ONLY, even when it was right next to the other wigs they were selling. They had recommended me a wig under the desk, which was not even close to what I was looking at. Keep in mind, these people are trying to sell the whole building as well, so the fact they would reserve one wig was very strange and kind of rude to me.Communication is also another issue. Due to their heavy accents, I repetitively have to ask them to repeat what they said, which is tiring after a while. Of course, I understand the accent is a factor they cannot help, but when they speak very quickly and not very loudly (and plus the place has an ongoing fan, which makes it even harder to hear them), that is when it gets very irritating.As for their wigs, they have a fairly good assortment, and if you want cosplay specific wigs (plus accessories and wig care items), youve come to the right placeOverall, Id rate this place a three for their good wig assortments and wig care items, but Id be very cautious about it. If you decide to go, Id reccomend being very kind and respectful towards them, and go on your merry way after you get what you need.

The best! They have over 150 wigs on display and if those are not what youre looking for they have over 300 others just asked and they will help you find what you need.

Less than 1 star rating!!!I went in looking for a wig to buy for a costumed fundraiser event coming up. There looked like a nice, large selection of wigs to choose from. I tried on about 6 of them and none of them looked quite right on me.As I was about to try another one, the Asian woman behind the counter told me that I tried on too many wigs. I repeated what she said because I wasnt sure I heard her correctly. She said yes, Ive tried on enough wigs. Her husband was nodding in agreement. I was astounded! I was wearing a hair stocking for all of the wigs and after every one that I tried on, I neatly replaced it on the headstand and smoothed the hair back into place.I told the couple that I had to find the right one that looked good for my costume and thats why I had to try them on. The woman pointedly told me that I had tried enough!Needless to say, I told them that they obviously had no interest in selling anything to me and that Id gladly spend my money some place else. Omg, I was so pissed off and could not believe the couples attitude!DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS...THEY JUST WANT YOU TO GRAB SOMETHING AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Jerks!

My first experience was really amazing ! When I bought I wig I was in the car with it and the man came out and wanted me to come inside he cut the lace off for me and adjusted it to my size ! Both the man and woman who are in this store are extremely rude. Advised my friend she had tried on to many wigs and were acting like it was an inconvenience to answer any question had before spending over $40.I find it extremely irritating that the second my friend and I walked in the door, they followed us around like we were thieves all the while a white couple waliked in after us and were greeted kindly and left alone to shop.

This place is under new management. New owner was not inviting at all, not did he have skills to help people find styles. Owner was also very hostile towards transgenders people which wasnt surprising as they were blaring Christian music. If I could give lower than a one I would.
