Everything went good. Service was good. Told us some tips on the project we were doing. Friendly workers, they grabbed everything for us. Got us everything we needed right away. Loading the metal roofing on the trailer was a different story, guy seemed to know little to nothing about the fork lift he was operating, took him dozens of times to fix how he out it on the trailer and ended up damaging some of the sheets in the process and damaging the end of our trailer aswell. Not too bad but still damaged it. They needed up giving us a few extra for the ones that he damaged. But other than that nothing too bad happened.

Lumber can be slightly more than other big box stores but also carries different hardware that you won’t find at said box stores. Staff is always kind, mostly knowledgeable.

Ziggys is like a old fashioned yet larger hardware store like a mini home Depot but the kind of place that you would be able to place a custom order for building supplies

They have always been very helpful and worked through issues with us and if you check regularly they have great deals.

Store is great, the layout of the store is good, prices are good and custom service was good.

The water/sprinkler/sewage plumbing section is awesome!!! I went to both the northside Lowes and Home Depot first but their selection had been picked through and the inventory was way down. Went to Ziggys and they had everything I needed and an abundant selection...go there first!!

Ive only had a couple not so great experiences with ziggys in my 20 years of shopping there which to me is not to bad. Ive had tons of bad experiences at the big box stores. They usually are pretty knowledgeable in all aspects of construction.

Update.....just gets worse, after securing a quote for a garage build early February and being told bo hurry do to snow at delivery site,....when I contacted to schedule delivery and payment today,...I was hit with over 1500.00 in price increases. Now, that being said, Doug was aware I could have paid for this anytime as I let him know I was going with the quote as well as talking about the snowpack and road restrictions.One would think, that a phone call to say Hey we have a price increase coming up might have cone to a real customer relations salesperson?I might have to swallow it do to time restraints and hassle, however that was just the garage. An entire house package is most likely going elsewhere simply due to lack of service.If you must then shop here, but seriously consider whether they actually want your business vs other smaller and more customer concerned outlets.Extremely disappointing and dissatisfied

Fantastic local home improvement company. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and can help you get what you need for a reasonable price. Good prices on rough cut 2x4s. I would recommend checking in at Ziggys first before the big box stores.

Unforgivably and despicably the adolescent cashier insult ones intelligence by demanding you give up personal information or they will refuse aervice. If you value your personal information, shop elsewhere.

Great service and selection, not crowded, drive through lumber yard with loading help means you handle wood once AND you have help from one or more people. Why handle 83 2×4s twice when you can handle 40 ish once and drive off with 83.

Prices are good but youve gotta wait forever to get service. First wait in line to get customer service then wait in line for the yard. Wait wasnt terrible in side but the yard took forever. As a business owner time is money hard to waite in line for product. Need more yard help two guys in yard is not enough.

Awesome experience! Went with my friend. The guys in the yard work super hard to get the job done! Had a newer guy but the supervisor in the yard came to help out and was very helpful and insightful. Yeah ziggys!

I went to Lowes and Home Depot. Neither one could help me get an angled piece of lumber. I thought of Ziggys and they had just what I needed. Will go here first next time. The price was very reasonable and while I waited for the lumber to be cut, several people came up to me and offered assistance. Great visit!!

The customer service we received yesterday was awful. The man was a jerk and had an unwilling demeanor to help us find what we needed. The entire interaction was just awkward and uncomfortable, so we left as soon as we were able to. This was my first and will be my last time here.

It was my first visit to a Ziggys Home Improvement. As I looked for the size of a board I needed a young man asked me what I needed. He said he has that size available. Walked me to the cashier. Very nice and knowledgeable. Store very clean and easy to navigate. Ill return to continue my projects.

I love Ziggys. I always choose them over Home Depot and Lowes. But they always have had very slow service. Their cashiers are slow and customer service is as well. I am still going to shop here. But It can get annoying when It takes me half an hour to buy a pex elbow.

We went into Ziggys for the first time to get (order) a shed on the recommendation of our friends. The service was great and the person who helped us was very knowledgeable, and able to answer all of our questions. One thing that amazed me was the sales man said it would be about 2 weeks because they have to build it. We got a call the next day that it is done and set up a time for delivery. Very impressed with Ziggys.

Went to buy pellets.staff friendly helpful. Barely any wait time in loading and the guy loading the pellets was very courteous..made sure the pellets were far enough up in my truck for me to travel safely.

Dont waste your time. If you are not a contractor they have no time for you. Arrived at 11:00 am 08/24/18 to find out about bathroom remodel services. Four employees were working the Customer Service desk: one on the computer; one on the telephone and two in a private conversation. Even though we were the only customers at the desk we were never even acknowledged, rather studiously ignored. Lowes was great and they offer a Veterans discount!

I was only in to browse, a friendly employee named Adam helped me find what I was looking to price out for a future project. I will definitely be coming back. What great service! He had just gotten there and was not even technically working yet and he still went out of his way to help me.

I went into Ziggys last weekend to buy some wood fencing. I purchased treated 4x4s and 2x4s and dog ear fence planks. There was 2 young boys who loaded up the lumber. When we got home and unloaded. We noticed immediatly all the treated wood was bowed and had big chunks out of several sides of each piece. I was very dissapointed that I was sold reject lumber.

Fast and friendly service is the standard. Went to pick up pellets for our stove and were pleasantly surprised to find that they still had snow shovels left as well. The truck was loaded quickly and efficiently and we were on our way in no time.

Not enough help. Wanted to order carpet and waisted half an hour. Attitude was not great once I asked for help.

We had major water and mold damage to our bath/shower- which necessitated tearing out the entire bathroom wall and the floor- so we decided to convert it to a walk-in shower.My brother does business here, and after talking with Jesse and Tom, I can see why.This is a first-time project for me, and both guys answered all of my dumb questions. Their expertise helped me figure out what Im going to need to put all this back together and have it look good- something my wife will appreciate!The estimate we received was reasonable- less than we thought it would be, which is always a nice surprise.In fact, were getting everything to finish this project- the walk-in shower, glass, window, plumbing, sink, all the lumber to replace the floor and the outside wall, and a few gallons of Kilz 2- for about $500 more than what Home Depot wanted just for their shower stall and glass assembly alone.I like to support local businesses, especially family-owned ones, even if it means spending a little more. After this, I will certainly shop Ziggys (yeah, Ziggys) whenever I have other home improvement projects. These guys ROCK!!!

I have been here quite a few times and anytime I have checked prices they are on par or lower than Lowes or Home Depot. Also, they are local so I would choose them over the chain stores any day. I would have to say their customer service is consistently good. Also you get to drive to your lumber instead of having to wheel it out of the store yourself.

Id rather shop local unfortunately you cant get any customer service. Seriously go in to buy flooring and only one employee can sell flooring which is which another customer. Waited awhile and decided not worth the waite if no other employees care to try and help. At least qt ho.e depot or lowes theyll call someone else to help with the product or try and help. Why has customer service disappeared at local business. Like they dont wanna hire anyone. Then you go to load and its just as slow.

Purchase a dishwasher from Ziggys and asked NOT to deliver a floor model, (due to customer handling). When delivery was made, I got the floor model. I called them and told them I had a floor model, they said, how do you know? I said because the display dishes were still inside. They said We need those back!I should have learned. I also had a special order of metal roof and received the wrong lengths in the ordered size. I will always go elsewhere and tell my story to all.
