My son was turning 4 and wanting a very specific robot from a 50s movie called, Forbidden Planet. I called only days before his birthday and they were able to make the coolest and best cake ever for my son! The cake itself was a delicious raspberry lemon mix with white cake and buttercream frosting. Thank you!!🤖💗

We ordered our wedding cake from Sweet Frostings. We were driving across the country and picking up our cake here before heading to the North Cascades. They were super helpful with picking a cake they would uphold the amount of travel the cake would go through. The cake ended up holding up perfectly despite the 90 degree weather, 3 hour drive, and hike to our ceremony location. We also picked up the cake a few days before the actual wedding and it was still SOOO delicious. Everyone attending the wedding was impressed. We had such a great experience!

I had a custom cake made and I am amazed with the job they did. They had an image I sent to work with and they made the cake look better than the image I provided. Will be getting all birthday cakes done at sweet frostings from now on. Customer service is always good too.

This a beautiful bakery in downtown Spokane. We preordered a cake for my sisters graduation. Unfortunately they had completely missed on making the cake. However, they made it right and got it baked off ASAP. They also made sure to apologize for the mistake, and throw something else in for messing up. I appreciate a store that is willing to right their wrongs.I will definitely be back now, because of their kind service. Also because that cake was delicious.

Their cupcakes are amazing, to be sure. Recently I needed a cake for a baby shower, so I checked their website weeks in advance, to make sure I knew when to place my order order. I saw that special order cakes (fire-breathing dragons, a cake shaped like your favorite bottle of wine etc.) required 4 days notice. No problem, I just needed one of their basic, regular cakes. So when I called on a Friday to order it for Monday evening, I was told that they couldnt do it without a special rush fee of $50 on top of my already $70 cake. When I explained that this wasnt a special order, again, just one of their basic cakes, they insisted that it was clear on their website that ALL cakes needed to be ordered four days in advance, which is simply not true. It does not say that anywhere. Anyway, I ended up with 24 cupcakes for $90. I attempted to contact management to resolve this, two ways (email and FB messenger) but they failed to respond. I find this (mixed messages) extremely misleading. Why not just say that ALL cakes require four business days? It seems disingenuous. Im VERY disappointed with the way this was handled on their end. Ill use one of the other many wonderful bakeries for my future events/needs.Edited to add: I left you my phone number per your request; you didnt get back to me for days, until moments after I posted this review. Nope. Thats lazy customer service.

Really disappointed I ordered a surprise and when it arrived they left a note letting them know they’re out of cinnamon rolls so there was a free cupcake on them, and Uber Didn’t send over the gift note confirmation so that wasn’t included either. I contacted the company and they’re customer service was amazing and even notice the surprise effect was lost everything was really good and I was pleased with their assistance.

This place is just magical. I had tried their cupcakes and macarons (all super yummy and adorable!) at their Spokane Valley Mall location a couple of times before, but nothing compares to actually visiting their shop. Roomy interior with pretty, whimsical decor; friendly, helpful staff and an extensive menu of coffee, tea, and desserts. What more could you ask for? My husband and I tried one of the Instagram-famous monster shakes and it was an incredible experience.

I met with a representative for Sweet Frostings at a bridal festival in CDA. We set up an appointment for a consultation, however I was not informed it was going to cost almost $40. I actually just happened onto that when I was browsing the website. I would have been furious if I found out the day of that I was going to be charged. Most dessert places offer free consultations and tastings. I’m a college student planning a wedding, I need to save as much money as I can.

Ordered a smash cake (feeds 4) on Friday and they were able to have it ready for me to pick up today. THIS CHOCOLATE CAKE WAS SO BOMB! They did such a great job with the presentation. Thank you, my friend was very impressed.

They made a BEAUTIFUL cake for our wedding that was Tangled themed (the disney movie) and there havent been a lot of weddings themed this way so I designed my cake myself and everyone loved it!! It tasted amazing and looked just like my design!

They don’t tell you that your cake testing will cost you $36 if you don’t book with them until the end which is more then if you just bought the cupcakes and tried them yourself. Megan was not helpful at all. She was rude and pushy. When I asked to see pictures of their she didn’t have any. She didn’t show me any cakes or donuts that they had done before. When I asked for ideas she stated “most brides come with ideas from Pinterest. That’s what we prefer.” So of course I didn’t book with them that day because she was zero help and very rude. Then I was charged a $36 fee for what? Eating part of cupcakes? Cause she sure as hell didn’t help us at all. I will be contacting management on Monday. We will not be going back here either will my friends and family. We will not support a business that treats there customers this way and blindside them.

Ordered cupcakes 500 miles away for a local delivery and this place did not disappoint! The process was seamless. The cupcakes were beautifully packaged and they included a note for me. Our recipients loved them. Also, appreciated the phone call from the delivery driver letting me know they had been delivered. Cannot wait to try these myself when Im in Spokane!

The dubbed Cupcake Place in my life is where I take all my friends and family when we get together one on one. I love it so much that when I started planning my wedding I wrote them in for the cake on day one! I joke to my fiance that Im excited for our wedding more so now that I know well have the best cake. The picture attached is not my wedding cake (as my date is still two months out) but it will be quite similar.So excited!!

Went in on St. Patricks Day to get treats for the family. I bought q dozen cupcakes, multiple flavors and everyone pf them were stale and seemed to be atleast a few days old. Very disappointing for the amount they charge.

I ordered two ‘special’ cupcakes and told the person on the phone I would need more cupcakes. I described the two cupcakes I wanted; one for my first and only grandchild celebrating his 1st birthday on the same day as my recently deceased sister who would have been 64 on the the same day. I described exactly what I wanted; clouds, angel wings and what to say for my sister and cute, anything fishing or swimming for my grandson. I selected what they offered as flavors of the day and just wanted the added decorations from their usual cupcakes but was going to buy more. I told her that. When I got there, the flavors were ok but all they did was add a fondant ‘plaque’ with Happy Birthday and the names. Nothing ‘heavenly or angel like’ and nothing ‘fishing or lake swimming like.’ Exact same plaque and different colors. No special effort. 60.00 later I walked out with 12 cupcakes - not oversized or special or extraordinary. Never will return. I could have done the same for 10 bucks. But I thought - by pros - they would be really special. Skip this place! I was very disappointed. Hard to get to also - downtown.

If you’re looking for a sugar high this is the place to go! Soooo many yum options! My favorite is the chocolate salted Carmel cupcake!Not only are the sweets yum but the place itself is suuuper cute with lots of photo ops! It’s a decently large room, so big enough for a group of people to walk in and enjoy the desserts and happy vibes! I came in with a group of seven people and the service was really nice and got us everything we wanted and took a picture for us. Recommend for a fun experience!

My fiancé and I just finished our wedding cake consult and had an amazing time tasting some of the best cakes I think either of us have ever had. Our consultant, Megan, was so incredibly sweet and patient with us and really listened to what we were looking for, which is even more impressive as neither of us have done anything like this before and were a bit nervous. I cant wait for our cake and look forward to becoming a life long customer!

They did a fantastic job on my sons first birthday cake, both the full cake and the smash cake were beautifully decorated. Easily the most delicious cake and frosting I’ve ever had.

Early in March we met with Jessica and she designed our order for our wedding in July: 3 tier cake & 500 mini cupcakes. Then COVID-19 happened... ☹Jessica (daughter) & Sally (mom & owner) of Sweet Frostings were so understanding and supportive of is as we tried to figure out the plan of what we were doing for our wedding due to restrictions by the governor and our priority of keeping our families and friends safe. I was able to call and change my huge order down to a 2 layer cake decorated to match my wedding bouquet & have them box the 3rd (top) layer separately so we could freeze it for our 1 year anniversary...we also cancelled the 500 mini cupcake order. They were so generous to write & send a check with the refund, minus the Bridal Shower cake I added to order to show my support of them during this time. I know times are tough for everyone and with all the kindness Sweet Frostings showed to us during our planning for our COVID-19 wedding they will have our business for years to come and I will recommend them to everyone!! I needed cupcakes delivered to my sister for her birthday and didnt call until the night before. Camy was so nice on the phone and in less than 5 minutes my order was placed and set to be delivered the next day. When they were delivered the driver called and even left me assuage that they were delivered. Such great service and I heard that they were AMAZING! I will be ordering from Sweet Frostings for all my Spokane delivery needs!

Service was excellent! The girls at the front counter were energetic and fun. The cupcakes were a lot pricier than I thought they would be, which severely altered my buying options. They had melted before I got home, and the frosting was all over the box, and what was left on the cake got bitter. I was left feeling as if I were cheated out of my cupcake experience. I did really enjoy the cupcake shaped sugar cookie I purchased, however!

Sweet frostings seemed like a great idea but we ordered the GLUTEN FREE cupcakes and they actually turned my stomach they tasted so bad I mean truely vile uneditable to the point of being spat out in public and paying oh what 25$for 4 cupcakes they should have transported me to the Moon and back not the bathroom . Let me know when you fix this and Ill try one and change my review if they improve

We ordered a two tier cake and royal iced cookies for our baby shower. I was blown away with how beautiful the products turned out. Not only were they beautiful, they were amazingly tasty. The cake was so moist and wonderful. We had lemon raspberry for the top tier and strawberry champagne for the bottom tier. All our guests were raving about how good the cake was. The cookies were so precious! They also tasted great. I worked with the staff with some pictures from Pinterest to come up with our final designs and I could not be happier. They did such an amazing job and I cannot wait to work with them again.

These are some of the best desserts I have had!! Must try this place out because it’s fabulous and the staff are amazing and fun!! Always will come back for more because they are that good!

Wonderful cupcakes but I only like a few of the flavors enough to justify the price. I would probably go more often if they offered strawberry champagne more often. Also some of the flavors are just too generic. With the frosting being flavored but not the cake and with out filling.

First time visiting their location and lets just say I was blown away by not only the amazing smells, but the coziness feeling when you walk in. During this pandemic getting close to glass to see the cupcakes and cookies was blocked off, I dont mind that at all. Safety was their number one concern.Now for the waitstaff, I was blown away by how the customer care was. They were swift and able to keep up with small conversations and they were knowledgeable about all items in the bakery! I didnt catch her name that was waiting on me today, but she was blonde hair with the most amazing ice blue eyes. She was happy and cheerful ... 5 stars on her!!Now the cupcakes... can I say amazing? Yes!! The lemon blueberry cupcake was great! My favorite was the banana split! I am just amazed by their work! I am going to be coming back again for all my clients consult sweet treats. Worth the price in every way!!

Spokane is lacking in good bakeries. That, however, is not a problem thanks to Sweet Frostings. It is hard to determine which is better the cupcakes or the staff. Each cupcake is perfectly prepared and presented for maximum eye appeal. The taste? Divine! As for the staff you will not find friendlier in all of Spokane.

The cake I ordered was probably the worst cake I have ever had. The frosting was so sweet and over powering that you could taste nothing but frosting. The frosting was super thick and it was basically nothing but frosting. I said no fondant and they made buttercream fondant instead...not what I ordered at all. No one enjoyed the cake and it was a waste of money as no one could finish their piece of cake.

We were given these as a gift and fell in love with them. We got a dozen assorted flavors today as well. I must say the orange flavored cupcake and the chocolate with an oreo right under the frosting were my favorite out of the bunch. Great customer service by Jessica, shes very friendly and makes the buying experience even better.

I didnt know what to think when I heard that we were getting designer cupcakes in Spokane. However my skepticism was cleared up the first time I visited a couple years ago. Honestly I prefer cupcakes to regular cake now and I love popping and then to try out their new creative flavors as well as chat with a friendly staff and have a coffee. I love this place so much that I had the make our wedding cake and it was epic! Not a lot of people can sculpt the dragon out of Rice krispie treats! Sweet frostings is one of those great Spokane local businesses that you should support!

Very disappointed with the service at the downtown location. I ordered cakes 2 weeks in advance and my order was not put in the correct spot. The day before my event, the cakes could not be made leaving me to scramble to find somewhere else with no compensation or offer of making it right.When ordering the cakes, I was undecided on the decoration I wanted for the cakes, but was told by the employee that I would be okay to call a few days in advance to let them know if I had decided to do a decoration or not. She asked if I’d like to pay then or when I picked the cakes up and I decided to pay when I came to pick them up. I called a few days in advance and gave a design for one of the cakes, but wasn’t sure what I wanted for the others. The employee told me it was fine, that they had my order and they would still be made but to call the day before the event to give my decoration. Again, she said I could pay upon picking the cakes up. I called the day before and was told my cakes were in the “pending” folder because I had not paid in advance for my cakes and now they were unable to make my cakes because they were too busy. I explained what the employees had told me and the woman I spoke to, Elizabeth stated that that wasn’t their protocol, doubted that’s what I was told and said there was no way to have my cakes made. She offered me the cakes they already had pre-baked not in the sizes or flavors I wanted. There was no offer of compensation or apology. No offer to discount anything in compensation for the loss and now having to find another bakery to do my cakes.Sweet Frostings cakes at good, but there are many other wonderful bakeries in Spokane that I will choose to have my business.

If you are looking for a yummy treat then I would highly recommend Sweet Frostings. The cupcakes and other baked goods were delicious! We enjoyed the bright and cheery atmosphere and fell in love with the decor. We were also very impressed that the owner of the bakeshop took the time to come out and say hello. If you have a sweet tooth then Sweet Frostings is the place to go!

We ordered a cake to celebrate our daughters baptism and it was beautiful and delicious! Everyone at the gathering commented on the flavors, we chose salted caramel and it was perfectly done! We will definitely order again the next time we have a special occasion to celebrate.😊

I ordered a quarter sheet cake for a baby shower. It was beautiful with amazing flavor. Cake was much bigger than I thought, so was pleasantly surprised by a 3 layer sheet cake. Their cupcakes were great as well.

Truly artisans of their craft and with good coffee too! Plenty of sun light to fill the room to help warm up conversations with friends. You wont go wrong with the quality of their product though you get what you pay for - they are sweet delicacies at a delicacy price.

One of the best mochas I’ve ever had. I stopped in for some breakfast while waiting for a bus transfer, and loved the food, atmosphere, and staff. If you find yourself with some downtime waiting for a bus or train nearby and your sweet tooth is calling, I’d highly recommend this place.

It was past closing time, but the ladies working there helped me regardless. Ive always wanted to try their cupcakes, but timing just never worked out before. But today it must have been in the stars. I went downtown to get tacos, and came home with cupcakes and Boy, Im not mad about it! Best cupcakes Ive ever had. The salted caramel.. there are no words.. chocolate sugar cookie, that buttercream frosting is to die for. Everything was super fresh.. You can tell they were made today because they were so moist . The flavor combinations they chose for their menu are impeccable. There is something to satisfy every palette... Even the pickiest eaters wont regret stopping by for a quick treat. But beware, once you taste this amazing deliciousness there is NO going back! I might be addicted already! ;)

Needed a last minute cake and they had some already made in the shop! They were able to customize the cake without any notice in advance and everyone was so helpful when choosing the cake! Ended up getting the strawberry champagne cake! It was so soft, moist and flavorful! Will be getting all my cakes from here in the future!!

Just used Sweet Frostings for the second time and, once again, had great service. Super friendly and helpful on the phone. They made it so easy to have a cake delivered to my son, a Gonzaga University student and even though I called in late they still made it work. He and his housemates LOVED the cake. Salted Caramel with Chocolate Buttercream frosting. Just wish I was there to have been able to try a piece.

No one in Spokane could bake me one in that late of notice, but Sweet Frostings made time in their busy schedule to bake me a cake in time for my photo shoot! My experience with this bakery was disappointing. I ordered a cake for my daughters 21st birthday. The employee was helpful in letting me know my options for my order and made a great suggestion regarding a final decorative touch. The cake looked Gorgeous! The decorator did a wonderful job; I give her my applause. But, unfortunately, when we cut into the cake it was dry and crumbly. It did not taste very good due to how dry it was. This was disappointing for my daughter as she was so looking forward to it. We ended up throwing most of it away since it just was not very good. While how a cake looks is important, how it tastes is what makes it shine. This cake fell very short in quality. I feel this bakery did not give me my moneys worth. I had heard such great things about Sweet Frostings that I still cant believe they gave me what they did. Only reason I give them the 2 star rating is the decorator did a lovely job with the frosting. Shame on this bakery!

I just got off work amd had to stop at the bank. My son whom has special needs was with me . i promised him a cup cake. However the store was closed the ladies opened up the door greeted my son with smiles and hugs . they offered him a cup cake and refused to let me pay. The smile on his face was priceless.

I had the best cup cake today it was called paid day and it has opened my eyes! I also had a bit of my sons and it was great we purchased three more different variety and another paid day. Im sure they will be just as amazing. Also gf macaroons. Had to have.

I found Sweet Frostings on the Gonzaga University website as I was looking for a way to help my son (a freshman) celebrate. The service was incredibly efficient - they did exactly what they said they would do, the order arrived on time and in tact, and both my son and I received confirmation that there was a delivery for him. On top of it all, Im assured the cupcakes were delicious. A great experience all around.

I went back to the mall kiosk after visiting downtown for my sins wedding cake..I wont ever go anywhere else. I cant say enough good about the service, quality of the cakes and cupcakes..you have a gold mine here. If i wasnt retired it would be my dream job downtown is decorated perfectly...made me want to stay all day...felt like stepping into a fairy tale.

Went here for a cake tasting and it was deeply disappointing. The lady helping us seemed confused when we asked to see examples of cakes they had previously done, and every cupcake we tried (their wedding cake tasting is simply picking cupcakes out of their case) was stale except one. I have a gluten allergy and the three gluten flavors they had all had a weird spiced flavor to them, they had a Mayan chocolate flavor that I think might have contaminated the other two. For the prices they were asking it just didnt seem impressive, or like anything special, just another cupcake shop.

Everything is gorgeous, selection is amazing. Cupcakes put into eye appealing cellophane bags. But for the price, Id have just as soon had something from the grocery store. I was not impressed with the quality/taste as it was on par with a grocery bakery cupcake. I had to throw 3/4 of my frosting away (lemon frosting, raspberry filling). Even then, I still have a sugar headache right now.Will keep looking for quality cupcakes.

Cupcakes and brownies icing was too sweet and could hardly tell that there was cream cheese in the cupcake icing. Cheesecake was delicious though.
