Absolutely amazing find! We’ve seen the huge sign several times from the freeway!Today we were downtown and drove by!!Old School and wonderful! I’m sure this place has been here forever!The menu is very large but the offerings cover every option from hungry to seniors!My breakfast was delicious and perfect sized.I would give this restaurant 7 stars if it were possible!Server was great- took perfect care of our family!
Ive been seeing the Frankie Doodle sign over I-90 forever and finally got a chance to check it out. Our waitress was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Food was good. Prices were great. They also have a giant cinnamon roll 😋 so yummy!
Frankies continues to provide an excellent breakfast with good service. They understand gluten intolerance and still come up with great meals. We will definitely return.

Ive been in Spokane for 5 years now and just got around to checking this place out a few weeks ago. Amazing food, and the prices are amazingly low! Plus their mimosa was great! I was given a mini bottle of champagne and a little pitcher of orange juice and it wound up making 3 glasses! Great value!

This is where my family goes for delicious burgers and the BEST fries ever! The huckleberry shakes were a special treat. We like the casual, comfortable environment and the friendly service, too!
The portions were wonderful the food was hot the service was quick I was really impressed with how friendly and how well priced the food was for the quality definitely worth the trip surprised that there are not more people going we ordered extra crispy hash browns with well toasted English muffins and extra butter everything was made exactly to order the Sunny Side eggs were perfect the scrambled eggs were were creamy and delicious everything was made to order the gravy was very creamy well seasoned and they make their own gravy definitely worth the stop I would recommend this place every time

Frankie Doodles was a wonderful breakfast experience. I ordered a ham omelette with hash browns. The omelette had a good mix of ham and cheese that was filling, but not over the top. The staff was very friendly and seated us right away during the breakfast rush. The food came out quickly and we left full and ready to take on the rest of the day. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I am happy to say that Frankie Doodles can make any breakfast better. I look forward to coming back again in the future!
They put out a delicious chicken fried stake so big it will feed you and your wife and still have leftovers for your pets.
Ive lived in the area since 92 and today was my first time eating here. I must say Im impressed. Good food and the menu has a great selection of items and different kinds of cuisine. I will definitely return to try something new.
I Highly Recommend Frankie Ds. They are very welcoming and homey. Their food is always delicious and cooked to order. Ive been going here year after year for a long time and it has always been delicious. If youre really hungry ask for The Bigfoot meal. It will feel you up and its the best chicken fried steak youll find in the state!!!
The stars above are simply for the meal taste itself.My mother and I enjoyed our food but what we got was eggs. An omelette for myself and scrambled eggs and toast for her. As well as Chicken tenders for my son.The waitress was nice but we felt bad as she was the only one on staff when there were a handful of tables so we tried to keep it simple.Everything on the menu was either fried or something we really didnt want. When it comes to diner food our standard I guess is different than people who are from here are accustomed too.It also took us 30 minutes to get our food.. which was shocking considering what we had. And by the time I received my omelette it was barely room temp.
One the last of the old time restaurants. Serving staff is glad your there.Treat you as if you are a regular. The food is very good, hot when you getit. If your day requires it, they have excellent Bloody Marys.Try them, you wont be disappointed.

Nice looking place. Good service. My experience is limited to one visit for pie and coffee. Coffee was fine. Pie filling rhubarb/strawberry was good. Crust was very thick and barely done in the middle. I wouldnt order it again. Prices average for the area.
Was not impressed, almost an hour to get out food. Servers were more concerned about taking care of the regulars even though they walked in after us, food was hot and was decent.

At a glance, the interior space appears cramped. However, when seated, cozy would serve as a better description. The staff ignored the outward appearance of my troup, and provided a reasonable accommodation. These encouraging displays of normalcy have become rather scarce of late.I will reject the urge to quibble over the bill as, I believe we are all tightening our belts. A ranging menu suits varied palates. Frankie Doodles provided a comforting taste of home amid trying times.

Oh boy. This was one of the worst lunches Ive had in a long, long time. Ive had the Mexican Dinner dish, beef and cheese tacos topped with olive slices served alongside salsa, sour cream and mini croquettes.The salsa and sour cream were okay. The rest was enormous amounts of cheap old fat and carbs and salt trying to cover low quality ingredients and an unimaginative recipe.Look, I get it. Its an American roadside diner in a midsize town. But Ive had better lunch at McDonalds. The only good thing was the service, the ladies were courteous and friendly.I dont know why this place got top ratings by so many people. Perhaps their breakfast dishes are better? Improbable to me. I would suggest taking the time to get closer to downtown Spokane and eating at one of the modern cafés there.

I ate here years ago, like 30 years ago. I had often thought that if I get this way again, Id try to find Frankie Doodles. Food was great then, and is still great. We had the Texas Cinnamon Roll, and couldnt finish it. They offer mini-breakfast plates. My wife got 2 pancakes with egg and bacon. She thought the pancakes would be small but they were regular size. She said the pancakes were some of the best she ever had. Spokane folks - if youre not eating here, youre missing out.

Took my daughter for breakfast for the first time and after waitress took her order she literally walked back to the kitchen and came out with her food as if it had already been prepared and just sitting underneath the heating lamp, afterwards my daughter was in the bathroom for at least a half hour getting sick and I had to ask another customer if she wouldnt mind going in and checking on herWithout a doubt the worst food Ive ever had

AMAZING FOOD! there were six of us so we had a great variety of food from the menu. Everything was delicious! Chicken fried steak, french toast, homemade cinnamon rolls, crab croissant, homemade cinnamon rolls, chili and cornbread, strawberry shortcake, and of course the homemade cinnamon rolls... You would be wasting your time to go there and not get the homemade cinnamon rolls.Love the down home atmosphere and the staff was just wonderful. Its quirky, its fun and it some of the best food Ive ever had.

Its the kind of place that your parents loved and still does its best at providing a small town eating experience right off the big town highway. Prices are affordable and the energy of the wait staff is positive enough to allow families, students, or whoever to continue enjoying Doodles well into the future.
