Carries Juki products and accessories. Owner does machine repair and fixed my bobbin wi for when another shop was unable to. The ow were is very accommodating to out of town visitors.
It is distressing to find that the store advertised as a resource for making masks and protective gear during this time of pandemic would post a sign masks required but that both employees were unmasked, and a man coming unmasked into the shop was not reminded of the requirement. I was in the shop, apparently unnoticed, for perhaps 10-15 minutes while persons who work there chatted animatedly without masks. After selecting a fabric & coming out from behind the high displays, a woman noticed me and came to help me, pulling a mask on, well under her nose. I mentioned the man who had come in unmasked and asked why the shop is not more observant of covid precautions. The result was a rather snooty denial---by a woman with her mask hanging down to reveal both nose and mouth! I was then told the man who came in thats the owners husband as if that assures customers that he is not spreading virus through the store. The fabrics are nice, not as nice as in past years, but it will be a long time before I would feel as if my patronage was met with consideration for my safety by this retailer.
My first time visit was very welcoming. Irene the owner was friendly and informative. I will be back for sure!
I was disappointed in the quality of service I received here. The staff was friendly with *other* customers but kept it very short when it came to helping me. I asked one question and the employee answered rudely, like as if she was inconvenienced by me. Since this place seems to be locally owned, I had hoped to feel welcomed. I felt uncomfortable during my entire experience here and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. If I wanted to be treated like just another body I would have gone to a chain fabric store like JoAnns. The only reason why I’m leaving two stars instead of one star is because I was able to find some fabric I liked.
I went into this shop the first time looking for a Juki machine but not knowing much about the actual machine just the machines reputation. The owner spent a good half hour showing me a couple different machines and offered good advice. I returned to purchase a machine and she went out of her way to work with me. I participated in her mask sewing project a couple months ago. Its definitely a shop that caters to its regulars but I do in my business also.
I recently purchased a sewing machine and was impressed to be required to be present to unpack my new machine along with store owner. So I saw the exact condition of the machine right out the box. Then I was immediately given the basics of the machine operation and shown and required to do return demonstration of the basics. The staff and owner are friendly and polite while conducting business so they provide quality service to each customer. Each visit to this store is a 380 mile round trip and a 6 hour drive! And this store is worth the trip based on the quality of seeing machines and fabrics they sell, and quality of help they give!
Wonderful shop!
So I drove all the way to the South Hill from Hayden, Id looking for another gem quilt shop. I am a quilter and dont mind a day out hunting for fabrics. I walked into several empty shelves and fixtures toward the front entrance. No one was working in the section but I assumed they were changing a floor set. I browsed for about 40 minutes. I covered the entire store. All fabric lines and tools. They had a decent selection of juvenile fabrics. I was hunting for brights and found nothing that suited my needs. The worst part of the experience was that I was never once greeted or addressed by staff while I was in the store. I had two questions and could not get anyone to break away from their gossipy conversations with regular customers and/or other staff to help me. I wanted cuts for a cute daisy fabric I found on the spur of the moment and eventually put my fabric back and left because I couldnt get help. I NEVER leave a specialty fabric store without a purchase but I left Regal without one. They obviously have enough customers they didnt need a new one. There are other quilt shops who have great service I dont need to shop where there is no help. I wont return.
Absolutely loved this store and the ladies working the day we stopped there were very nice and welcoming. They also had the cutest samples!!
Some of the rudest people I have ever met and the highest prices around ! Kept telling me what I wanted to buy was not what I needed and didnt know if they could sell them to me .. Will never go back and wouldnt recomend to ANYONE !

Wife loves this place.
Called to get a quote and the lady was very rude!
Way to expensive, this may be the South Hill but theres a lot of low-income people that live here I know as for myself I cannot afford the price of your material.
