Ritters is a fantastic store with a tremendous selection of everything you could imagine and more. That said, they dropped the ball on my last purchase. Bought a large and small bonsai two and a half weeks ago. They were dry at the time of purchase but looked good. I followed the specific instructions per the person who helped me. Within a week, the small one looked off. and in two weeks it was dead. I called today and was informed that the bonsai were not covered by any replacement policy. The small bonsai sold for $75.00. Caveat emptor on the bonsai!

Went to look for houseplants and everything was looking pretty unhealthy and not well taken care of. I saw very few things that I would feel comfortable being back to my home. If you want house plants that aren’t dying when you purchase them go elsewhere.

The cat gave me more attention than the staff. I drove 45 minutes to look at plants. I walked through almost every area while 5 staff members interacted with each other...not with me. The only time anyone acknowledged me was as I was leaving. It was a total waste of my time.

I brought my own peanut basket to have planted in March. What I received was $50 worth of plants for $240 when I picked it up in May. When asking why it was so expensive, I was told it was because products were costing more in China. What? The plants? I brought on my own basket! I miss Mels. Go anywhere else. Greed has taken over Ritters.

Wide variety of healthy plants. Childrens play area provided. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always find something to tweak my imagination at this excellent shop.

It was nice to see some new plant introductions and some different types of perennials than just the usual offerings. Met Michael for the 1st time and found him to be a very knowledgable plant person. All of the staff was friendly and helpful including the two cats.

I do really like Ritters; however, I don’t tend to come very often due to the VERY high prices on their plants (way higher than other places in the area). For example, I bought a bird of paradise for $24, but at Ritters the same plant (way smaller in size too!) is $100. They do have really cute selections on pots though! Very fun and cute store to snoop at—just make sure you have the money for it, haha!

Used for seeds, trees, and vegetables and its been a wonderful experience every time. The staff is amazing and always there to help, and the landscaping manager definitely knows his stuff! Highly recommend checking them out!

Love this place. They are so honest, they told us not to buy a tree that had frost damage. They always help us keep our plants healthy. Ill get my trees and bushes here every time.

Fabulous decor and Christmas spirit with complimentary reindeer viewing. Staff was most helpful, though hard to find at times. We loved and will return.

Terrible experience. Nothing is priced, I had to ask employees for prices on every single thing I looked at, which was inconvenient for both of us. Everything is also extremely overpriced. While I was outside looking at plants their watering truck drove by and the driver was not even paying attention and sprayed me with a huge amount of water. Save your time and go somewhere else!!

Cute place with a lot of gift items and great plants. I’m not a Spokane local but I would imagine it’s hard to get good indoor plants in the area. The prices were a little high but understandable for all the care they put in to maintaining the greenhouse. The Pileas I saw were very happy, all the plants were thriving in there actually! We came to look at the plants, we left with a handful of candy.

Have known this business since I was a kids. They have a kids tree house and play area and a great selection of plants. I have always loved their business. They also have 2 cats inside! I got a little lavender plant from them and I love it.

They were very helpful, ESPECIALLY the gentleman named CW, who spent a lot of time, energy and patience, showing meMany trees in my price range, that he thought would work for me and my landscape project!!

I LOVE Ritters. My boyfriend and I get all most if not all of our plants here and this is definitely one of our regular places to go almost on a weekly. Prices are higher than what you are finding at Walmart, but they are great plants that arent halfway dead.Super great people, always helpful on recommendations for your plants and their little boutique that used to be the candy section turned out beautifully.plus, who doesnt love the free roam cats!

I dont know how they are still in business. Their prices are so much higher than anywhere else in town and/oronline. Much of what I was attempting to purchase today didnt even have a price on it, no sign, and the employee couldnt even find it in their computer. Their outside sing says, houseplants 30% off, it doesnt say select, they wont include air plants, which are obviously indoor house plants. The worst part though, was the pretentious attitude given when I was asking questions. Now I remember why I havent been there in over a decade. In addition, I was surprised to see them selling candy cigarettes and candy pipes. They must really need to make a buck, likely because their prices are so inflated barely anyone can afford to shop there, and thats if you forgive the other issues.

Very disappointed that my 1 dollar coupon was not honored...expired only good in 2020 and the little 2 inch fern plant in display with huge sign advertising 2.99 was marked 4.99 and would not honor that either. Really poor customer relations. Shop full of wonderful plants and gitfts but generally over priced

I absolutely love Ritters! Their plants are always beautiful and healthy, their staff is very friendly, and their gift shop is adorable. I wish I could give them bonus stars for Petunia and Felix (the cute cats running around)!

Best place ever to buy plants, they have a whole green house of plants. Really fun to walk around in there. Prices are a bit higher then lowes and other places to buy plants but they have a much better selection.

What a fun place to go spend a couple hours looking at all the beautiful unique plants and local and interesting gifts. Their plants are the best!!! They have hard to find and speciality plants. The one that caught my eye was this gorgeous house plant called ‘candy corn’ though I think they look more like little goldfish! All plants are healthy! The staff was so amazingly friendly and answered all the questions my 95 yr old grandma asked as well as my 4 yr old. And there were a lot of questions!! The gift shop had a bunch of retro candy that was fun to look through and try a couple of. If your visiting Spokane stop by and see some local talent in horticulture.

We just moved to Spokane and needed some plants for our new place so we decided to checkout Ritters. I’m glad we did because we met Trina (I hope I remember her name right)! We’ve been back here multiple times in the last couple weeks and she has always been so incredibly helpful! Dalton is also great, everyone is just so friendly and eager to help!

My husband and I moved back to Eastern Wa from the Westside recently where I felt quite spoiled by the amount of nurseries we had been able to choose from. I started looking high and low for a place that had quality flora selection along with indoor houseplant care in and around Spokane with little to no success. That all changed when we discovered Ritters. Honestly Thank God for Ritters! This place has everything including a fantastic gift selection. The nursery staff is knowledgeable and helpful as well. I will keep coming back (even though my drive from Stevens County makes for a long trek) the trips are worth it!!! 🌿🌿🌿

Well this place seems to have great reviews but we just got here at 3:15 and went to see the reindeer, at 3:30 we went to see Santa and were stopped as we approached the area he was in and were told that we couldnt see him because he runs a tight schedule and would be leaving at 4:00. So maybe it should say until 3:30? Pretty disappointed... Our three year old was in tears and we had to carry him back to the car. Great job...

I ordered flowers for my sister-in-laws birthday. I left it completely up to Ritters as to what it should look like. She sent me a picture of it, and it was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend them!

So beautiful! I had spring fever, so I decided to check out Ritters, and wow! Its amazing. They have the most beautiful plants and the gifts are fabulous.

Love this place. The plants are always so healthy and huge! My go to for hanging plants when I want a nice display.My last visit was a few weeks before Christmas. They had a couple of reindeer on premises for people to visit with. Plus it’s always nice to see their Christmas offerings and warm up in the hothouse on a cold winter day. The hothouse was resplendent with a sea of red, pink and white poinsettias. It was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Ritters is an amazing company and they have a great selection of healthy plants but sadly the last few times I have gone into the store I have had very bad experiences. The customer service seems to be lacking and they need to figure out the check out line because it is not appropriate to make customers wait almost 20+ minutes to check out! Trina is also extremely rude to customers and employees. She has really driven me away from the company due to her rude and demeaning attitude and I will never shop from your store again.

First of all I have to say I was impressed with the staff at Ritters. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The day I went they were just starting to put the flowers out but when I would ask about a certain variety they would take me back to the greenhouse to pick it out. And wow, what a selection! The gift shop is fun to browse for unique items too. I just moved here and I am making this place my new local nursery,

Ritters came through for me on a very important day making sure my last minute order was filled and delivered on a huge holiday! I absolutely cannot recommend Ritters enough or give them enough stars! The customer service was above and beyond and made me feel that my order was just as important as it would be if I were spending thousands. I wasn’t by any means but my order was taken, prepared and delivered as if I had. Ritters absolutely has my vote and will always have my business and recommendations! Amazing staff, love the variety of plants, bushes, trees and unusual specimens. Staff is fantastic, wise, helpful, well in formed and with just a picture identify hard to name plants. I have been there four times this year and everytime I walk out with everything I need and something new and hard to find.

This place is huge! Do you need floral arrangements or house plants? Bonsai? Outdoor flowers, landscaping, trees, decorations? Ritters has it! Easy plentiful parking, a huge selection and a friendly store cat make this a great stop for garden supplies.

I’ve been to several garden stores and nurseries. This one is by far, the most organized and clean one I’ve been to. On top of that, their selection for plants is wonderful and you can place an order if they don’t have a certain plant you’re looking for. Also wonderful customer service.

I love shopping at Ritters for everything in my garden (and gifts). They carry the widest selection of plants in Spokane and their hanging baskets are INCREDIBLE! Also, their friendly staff is always available for questions and expert advise. One of my favorite places to just browse through all the beautiful things they carry. Best selection in town, little pricey but helpful

We go every year, and have for five years!!This year was literally the first year with a line. They move fast, but somehow you feel like you got quality time and its super warm and meaningful (I dont know how they the did it and managed to keep moving along!). Every year they have the best Santa! Hands down. Never ever cheesy or anything but warm and emulating all things Santa. This year it was super expensive though, and it used to be very reasonably priced (and there are sales and awesome ornaments). I still couldnt take a star however, because the proceeds go to the Venessa Crisis Center.There has never been a long wait or line, but the secret seemed to be out and I had to wait a whole 5 minutes in the back of the line (until two more families showed up and took caboose) ;) ! It may have even been less. Love this place, its a gem.

This was the best nursery in town long ago. Today I went there just to buy a rose. I went in the North door and never did find a basket; I tried to get some info about the rose and another plant but never found anyone over about 20 who knew what they were doing. But the main complaint I have is that, after paying almost $30 for a rose, I got home to find it and my car full of aphids. I would expect that if I were shopping at Walmart but I wasnt--I will never visit Ritters again. Suzanne Rivers

Very nice selection on plants, and decent prices. I went in for my first time today and got a house plant and two small succulents. The workers on the floor helping people find things are great but cashiers are rude. I bought a 9.99 houseplant and got charged twice for it when I obviously only had one house plant. Just make sure you don’t get charged extra for a plant/item that you did not purchase.

Should have a place to put my bike in, and the labor price for 30s is kind of expensive too, but overall very good

Purchased some seedlings for the garden. Got home and set them up under light for a few days before transplant. Unfortunately, some plants have insects and the tomato has fungus. It is a clean/sterile indoor room and the only plants was from Ritters. After several treatments the insects are gone. Except the tomato may have to go.May have been a isolated issue but, check your plants. Its a huge problem to deal with from the start and discouraging.Gave them 3 stars due to thier outstanding quality in the past.

Excellent customer service and delivery!! My wife worked on our anniversary and I requested the delivery person wait in line and deliver the flowers to her while at the register (she at the food court in Costco and their lines can get crazy) the delivery was perfect and it made my wifes day!! Thank you so much for your help in making pur anniversary extra special!!

Went to Ritters because of their select of usual roses and the 90 say guarantee on transplant. Plus they have a good selection of other plants. Used them over 30 years. Great service.

They have such lovely stuff from sculptures to candles. The whole store smells so nice when you walk in. The candy section is fun and people are nice.
