Wonderful amazing work, turned my average Fender into a very nice guitar. Set up was perfect and made some excellent changes to make it play incredibly!!!I will be going back for more guitar work, this man is a professional, and very detail oriented.

I could not be more impressed with Eben Coles work as a luthier. Over the past year I had the opportunity to acquire two 1971 Martin Guitars (a 00-18 and a D-28), before realizing some of the problems that era of Martins can present with. Both guitars needed crack repair and neck resets, which turned out beautifully, but the D-28 ended up needing about every form of surgery one can perform on an acoustic guitar: Eben replaced the pickguard, filled several cracks, moved the bridge back to correct the intonation problems that many Martins from that era have, replaced the gargantuan bridge plate with a more reasonable-sized one, fixed a loose brace and fabricated and replaced a missing finger-brace. The guitars now both play like a dream and sound heavenly, and the D-28 is now one of the best-sounding acoustic guitars Ive ever heard. I couldnt be happier, and absolutely recommend Eben and will return to him in the future any time I have need of a luthier. In fact, Ive been so impressed with his work on my acoustics that theres a good likelihood Ill end up purchasing one of his custom electrics. Plus, hes just a wonderful human being. Highly recommended!

Eben is the best in town if you need any work done on a guitar whether it be acoustic or electric he’ll give you an honest assessment and get it done with expert quality. His custom guitars are also incredibly built and play beautifully.

Eben Cole did a terrific job restoring my 110-year-old bowlback mandolin. It is a treasured family heirloom, so it was important to me to find someone who knew what they were doing and gave it the professional care it needed. And I found that in Eben. It needed quite a bit of structural work, but he really embraced the project, and Im very pleased with the result. It looks and sounds so much better now and is easier to play. Im excited about learning to play my grandmas mandolin, and being able to pass it down to future generations. Thanks so much, Eben!

I badly needed fret work on my two Taylor acoustics. I was hesitant to trust anyone but the Taylor factory, however that involves shipping each guitar one at a time and waiting up to 8 weeks each for service. Needing a better solution I contacted Eben at Cole Music only to learn he is a Taylor authorized repair center (wasn’t listed on Taylor’s site at the time).Eben replaced seven frets on one instrument and one on the one, both play like a dream and the fret boards looks brand new! Eben took each instrument one at at time for my convenience and turn around time was just one week on each! I won’t hesitate to take my guitar to Cole Music next time to keep it in tip-top playing condition.I highly recommend Cole Music!

Eben repaired a neck separation on my mandolin--creatively devised a tool that he could snake through the button hole to reinsert a missing bolt, without disturbing the inlay or finish. Also readjusted the neck and cleaned up the fingerboard for a remarkable difference in playing. Great job!

I have been going to the Cole Music Company since It was opened. At first I was attracted to the cool boutique and vintage guitars and amps. I learned later that Eben Cole, the owner, is a true luthier, not a guitar tech, who’s Father was also a Luthier. He has worked on a number of guitars for me. Setting them up, replacing pickups, etc. He does an excellent job. Another thing to note, Eben has his own line of Cole craft guitars, completely hand made with his own line of pickups. We’re lucky to have him in Spokane.

I have sold 2 instruments with Cole Music. Both times he has offered good prices that we were both happy with. Very fair in his dealings. A win, win for all.

Thank you Cole Music for your excellent customer care. We relocated from the desert Southwest to the Inland Empire & my guitar did not tolerate the change in humidity well. Eben went over my beloved Rickenbacker 4003 and it is playing wonderfully. I thought it sounded better but when the keyboard player said he woke it up I knew good things were happening. Thanks again
