Lids has become a joke! Team sent us in to get hats. Dreading it, based on Google feedback here, they lived up to the low reviews. The person working couldn’t do the hats so we had to wait for the manager to come in and make said hats. I come back 5 days later, and they have no order for me. To boot the guy running it pops off that they tried to call me on Tuesday and I didn’t even go in to order it until Wednesday…. And how did you try and call me when you just got done saying you didn’t have my order????Just fess up. You dropped the ball. No big deal, everyone is dropping the ball and it all has to do with staffing. The way to win people back is good customer service… this store is lacking!
The staff is very rude, unprofessional and lacks customer service. I ordered caps online for my husband and they didnt fit. I have returned and exchanged hats many times before. The guy that was there did not even let me show him the hats I wanted to exchange. He immidately said No we do not take hats bought online. I have done this before and when I purchased them it did not say returns were only taken back via mail. He has been there for a long time and seemed to dislike his job because he never treats you well. He needs to be fired for someone who needs the job and will enjoy helping others.
The employee that works there 24/7 is TERRIBLE, I’ve never seen such a rude employee in my life. Always raising his voice at me, and belittling my family and I. Next time I’m not going to be friendly, he is a grown man being disrespectful to families and young adults everytime I go there, if you are so miserable why don’t you quit your job.
Usually I bought my caps in this chain of stores in New York but in this one the customer service is terrible, the dude doesnt bother to help definitely models have better attention
Good selection of hats, but this location the staff makes me feel rushed, what do you want kind of attitude. Other than that. its ok. I think Ill just go to the valley location next time.
I walked in to buy some hats for future fishing trips. I was helped by Josh who is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have awesome hats and excellent deals.
Staff is very rude. Must not like his job. Shouldnt be employed there. Sorry for being an inconvenience at your place of business. My fault for going into there to shop for hats at a hat store. I will not be going back again.
I am done!!! Im tired of the COMPLETE DISRESPECT I get EVERY time I visit the store to spend my hard earned money!!! LIDS...you need to fire the price running your store because I can order online without the attitude! I was the only potential customer and he was on his phone..after his ridiculous attitude I left and spent NOTHING!!!
The associates arent very welcoming. It feels like a dude cave and if you have any questions youll be met with a max of three word response. Cool hats, but not worth it for the atmosphere. Plus the hats are crazy expensive.
Dont order items and have them sent to the store they wont be delivered. I spent $150 dollars on a Jersey for superbowl sunday because my Fiance team is playing in. First it said the order was going to be delivered Friday. It never came. Then I was informed that it was going to be their Saturday. It was refused for delivery. Now we dont have the Jersey and the store employees say this happened all the time like WTF.

Horrible service!! I went in to get a hat embroidered, but was refused service!I was told that due to trademarks, certain things couldnt be done..When asked what I was looking for, I didnt even get the chance to say what I was looking for, before he interrupted me.!Me: I was thinking abo...Employee: Yup! Thats Trademarked!I didnt even get a chance to say what I wanted!?.... Wow!Smh!(Note: I was trying to ask for a spiritual symbol. Not even able to be trademarked!)
Demond went above and beyond the call of duty at Lids. He helped me design a custom hat. He is a tremendous artist and hard worker. Highly recommend. I’m very satisfied with Lids. I came by an hour before closing and he made it work! Thanks Demond.
Im a small business owner and i wanted to say I had an amazing experience at the northtown mall lids. I noticed that most of the other reviews are from a year or more ago. This new staff has been amazing the last 9 times i came within the last 2 months. Ill always give them my business and have suggested it to some of the big businesses I have collaborated with over the years. I dont know who was working when these other people wrote reviews but Ive never had a bad experience.
Dont bother getting anything custom that requires them to digitize a file. I emailed my file and paid the fee on June 15, and it still hasnt been done. Apparently the manager cant be bothered to train his employees how to do it.
Could not be more disappointed. 4 apologies later only 3 out of 8 hats embroidered correctly and just overall bad customer service. Im a small business owner and wouldnt make it a month running it like they do. 1st time ever writing a review...thats how disappointed I am.

Absolutely a terrible company. Horrible customer service and they are not about the customer. They are money hungry and love taking money from the less fortunate. Theres another hat making place on the second floor of the mall that is family owned and they do a fantastic job! Right next to the barber shop as you go up the escalators.
Well i feel like the man that works there was unpleasant and rude. Everytime ive been there hes been kinda standoffish and unfriendly. Thankfully the other guy stepped in but all on all i wish nicer ppl worked there lol.

Last two times Ive been here, I paid for a hat, and realized they over charged me. Their system doesnt match the sticker price, and I had to complain to get my money back. I just bought the same two hats I normally buy there, from ebay for the same price I pay for one here, and didnt have the over charge problem. Dont shop here, and if you do....check your receipt. I should have looked at the reviews fir this store. Looks like other people have had issues too. Ill never go back to Lids.
They charged me 9.99 for a return label fee. This is absolutely insane
They had nothing I need because of no supply, its always this way every time I go there. They may as well just carry 1 product.
Wouldnt even give this place one star. The guy working in there had his friend behind the register with him SMOKING a vape pen while my 2 year old was standing there!
Make sure you get what you want in the store. If you order online and they mess up, right before Xmas, they WILL NOT take care of it on the customer service number
