I bought dive gear and rented tanks from this dive shop several times over the past 4 years. They are very helpful and understanding. Rented gear for a next day dive. It being Florida the weather did not hold out and we had to cancel/ delay the dive a day. I stopped by the shop and they said, not to worry and extended the rental gear a day without charge. This is the second time they have done this for me. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Highly suggest you pay these guys a visit.

Our instructor Courtney was the best and handled every issue(none by her making) that popped up like a pro. Would highly recommend her for instruction.

From recreational to technical, this shop can cover it all. I love they can provide my technical dive gas blends. The staff and patrons are a wonderful group of people that are passionate about being in and on the water. I highly recommend a visit for service and gear!

Justin was my instructor for my Open Water certification, the class went smoothly and any questions I had were answered clearly. I felt very comfortable getting through the pool work and transitioning to the springs for the guided dives in the course. I wouldnt take my business anywhere else but here.

Man, i wish this wasnt the closest dive shop..... Kinda dread going here, the first time I ever went to get gear for o.w. certification. I was eye balled by everyone there and after looking around for a few mins someone was able to help... Alright so far not great but nothing that couldnt be attributed to just myself... But after around 8-10 times there.... Keep in mind these are my initial getting into the hobby visits that create the best impression of the overall feel of what diving is..... Im left feeling less than enthusiastic to dive.. but I digress, after all these visits I feel just as unwelcome there.... I might not have enough money tho..... still feel like an inconvenience even tho Im there to rent gear and I bring it back rinsed and dried....this last time I rent a regulator and some weight sat late afternoon for a dive trip the next morning.... The dive trip was cancelled and I bring back gear 20 mins after they open just to have them quickly start the return process and say sucks that the trip was cancelled.... Offer no further anything and seemingly hurry me out of the store with rushed conversation.... At no point in time in 2 plus years have I felt welcomed here.... And I feel like thats ample time for a thorough assessment.... I might give the diver city in land o lakes a try but more than likely Ill make the trip to crystal river, which is waaaaaaaaay put of the way. But both dive shops there are 5-8x nicer... Unfortunately Ive spent a bunch of money here that I wish I hadnt... including 40+ for the privilege of having a regulator and some lead for 11 hours...

Always a knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have a very good selection for just about anything you need diver or spear fishing related.Theyre always willing to help and if its not something that they are able to do they will get you linked up with you can. For example, I have a hookah system that I needed to be worked on. Its not something that they typically do but they were able to get me squared away and have someone certified that they network with take care of it for me

We signed up for certification classes on Saturday. The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They took extra time with us to explain the process. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for dive services, equipment, or training! UPDATE: We recently finished our training with them performing our skills in pool and open water settings (Blue Grotto and Devils Den). As a professional trainer I can say that Justin in absolutely hands down one of the most patient and knowledgeable instructors I have come across. My wife had issues equalizing her ears that required going to an extra set of dives, Justin never missed a beat in helping her nor ignoring the other students in the class. I HIGHLY recommend this dive shop!

This shop is great. Some of the best divers in the industry come here for fills, products and maintenance. The staff is very friendly and everything is clean and well-organized. I am very impressed with the service we receive at this shop. They even offer true top-offs so you dont have to pay $18 for that 800 psi of oxygen in your rebreather. These two shops are symbolic of what a dive shop should be.

These guys are the best!!! If you are a seasoned diver or have Never dove ( like me )this is the place for you. Their instructors knowledge, compassion and patientace are first class. The sales people are so great, Not trying to sell you things you dont need. Prices are good too. Go check them out you too will be Hooked.

Knowledgeable, Informative, Enthusiastic! The whole team works together to get you safely, and comfortably under water. From Scuba certifications, to the right equipment and attire, they have the answers to your questions. I being new to the sport needed plenty of guidance, at no point did I feel intimidated or pressured.. Justin, and Roy are a wealth of information, and they happily share their knowledge with customers and scuba enthusiast alike. Im so glad I was introduced to scuba diving, but more importantly Im glad I was taught the right way, by the PADI instructors at Diver City.

Horriable customer service. I stop in one day and asked if they worked on my brand inhouse and was told yes they did it would be $35. I didnt have it with me that day. Then i called to double check before I drove an hr. Was told again they did. When I got there they said no they had to send it out and it would end up costing my $300 where on the phone he said $35. Then when I told the owner how upset it was for driving all that way he cussed me and told me he didnt have to listen to me and to never come back!

Great selection of equipment on hand, dive shop staff are very knowledgeable & have many years of first hand experience. Prices are very fair & the Feature several brands of scuba equipment Made locally & in the USA. I bought an OCEAN RINO Speargun, Go Pro mask, fins, gloves & a dive knife for some Freediving here in Hernando county & Im very happy with my purchases. Owner is on sight quite often & is a great resource for information about deep water, freediving & where to go.
