I wasnt there to buy a cart. I needed brake shoes, and other shops said they couldnt get them. Here a man came over took the old shoes and spent some time looking, but finally came back with the new ones. I was very happy but they were quite expensive.

We just bought our third cart from Custom! We’ve been doing business with them for years and have always been treated great. I can really appreciate how honest and fair they are. It’s a nice family operation which I always love to support. I highly recommend them!

Avoid Custom Golf Carts behind Chili’s.I hate to do this but I hate companies that rip people off even more. We bought a new cart in July. Paid $6500. Within a month the front tires started going significantly bald on the inside. We called them and they picked it up and they said there was something wrong with the king pin (I have no idea what that is) and they fixed it and they would put new tires on it. All was good until a few days ago I happened to be on the ground behind the cart and I noticed the back tires are completely bald on the inside. This cart is 6 months old and within the year warranty. I called them and they picked it up. I assumed something was wrong with the rear end suspension causing them to wear that way. They called today to tell us that they would replace the tires at cost but the tires wore that way because once a wear pattern is started the tires will continue to wear out how it has begun. They did not replace the worn tires with new tires as they told us they did, they simply rotated our tires and put the bad ones on the back and our good ones on the front and we were none the wiser. This cart was a month old at the time that they did this. 😡. We are expected to pay $100 today for tires that were supposed to be replaced under warranty to begin with. When my husband expressed his frustration with the fact that we were lied to the owner told him that he owns the company and doesn’t have to do anything at all so we are on our own and he isn’t working on it at all, they are bringing our cart back and hung up. Now we have paid $6500 for a cart.. still have 6 months of warranty that the company clearly isn’t going to honor and they don’t do honest work to begin with. Avoid giving them your money, I definitely regret giving them mine.

All my neighbors and I have been using Custom golf carts for years now. Ive never heard a single complaint. Their prices are best in town and every person Ive encountered there has been very pleasant and friendly.

Today I stopped into this shop to book an appointment to get my cart looked at and I had another great experience, per the usual with this business. The staff was warm and friendly, they answered all my questions and got my cart picked up within about 30 minutes after I left there and had it right back to me by the end of the day. I definitely recommend them. 5 stars!!

Very disappointed with this place. All I have to say is buyer beware Make sure you get what you asked for. Was told we bought a 2015 golf cart but when we check the vin # it was really a 2013. This is after he gave us 2 different vin# numbers we had to go under the cart and get the right number. He is nothing but a con man. They really good care of us here. Friendly and prompt service. They even brought us loaner cart while out cart was being repaired. Unfortunately my grandkids hit a fence while joyriding and did a number on our cart. Rick was very understanding of our circumstances and really helped save us money. This is a company with really family values.

Excellent customer service and very fast service. I called them at 10:30 am with a broke down cart, and they had it picked up within an hour. They called me by noon to tell me my batteries finally reached the end of their life (they were almost 7 years old). Gave me a great deal on a new set and had my cart back in my driveway by 2:00pm!!! Service doesn’t get better then that!! Thank you so much again!!

We show up Friday to check out a golf cart that his son quoted us a price and he tells us he cant honor that price. He gives us a huge issue about how he paints and strips the carts down and rebuilds them so I inspected the paint job and it was just a polished paint made to look better so he can charge 400 dollars for a paint job. Coming from someone that knows how to paint fiberglass the paint job was not a new job. He was extremely rude and he is a RIP off artist.!!!!!

This place is AWEFUL. We had reservations for golf cart rentals for six months. We called and confirmed reservations two months in advance. On the day we were to pick up golf carts the owner said there was a problem and would not give us golf carts. I was leaving on vacation the next morning and this completely ruined my vacation and of course the owner didnt care at all. PLEASE BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AS THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AT ALL.

They Installed a new set of batteries in my cart for me and they didn’t charge me any kind of service call fee or delivery fee. I’m very impressed by these folks, I will be recommending them to all my neighbors from now on.

After the sale a few hiccups and communication issues prior to final delivery but they acknowleged it did everything possible to correct it. During the sale Rick was very patient and helpful. After the sale Melissa was very, very kind and courteous.Had an issue w the charger after the sale. I called Melissa and had a new charger delivered that day.

Great service...my cart quit running on the course and they came right out and got it right back to me. Didn’t even charge me a service call fee..I’ll definitely recommend them to everyone.

Spent several thousand dollars for stereo new rear seat and batteries. After oneyear the batteries are bad. He wants to send them off to be checked, laughable. The install of new seat and roof i had to take apart and fix myself. Their staff is incompetent and the owner is a liar. I asked for triton batteries, he convinced me the ones he sells are as good if not better than Triton, not even close. Buyer beware.

Stole our Charger and gave us one that does not fit our cart!!!! Hateful and Rude! Horrible! Had them pick our cart up to check batteries and check lights. Were told to make sure the charger was picked up with the cart, which we did. Called three days later to tell us the batteries were bad and would cost over 600 dollars to get new. Did not want to pay that much at this time. Was told he would find used ones for us. After a week, we finally got our cart back with used batteries and without our charger. Driver said he would check the shop and get back with us. No response so my husband went in. Was given an old beat up charger and told they would look for ours and use it until they find it. Next day, husband went back in. We told they could not find it and the one they gave him was better than ours! Conversation got heated and was told by both the man and woman to get out of the store! Got used batteries that I cant tell you yet if they are any good, but lost our good charger and possibly some good batteries in the process. Dont trust these people! Now that we look back, we wonder why they made a point to tell us to include our charger when they pick up our cart??? They are a golf cart company. Wouldnt they have many of them laying around? Why? Hmmmm! My husband is disabled. He also has a bad heart. Walks with a cane. Does not need this stress. Bad business. Do NOT trust these people. Wish we had looked at prior reviews because seems there is another person that had a similar experience with this guys hateful demeanor! UPDATE: The charger he replaced does not fit our cart!!!!! We stopped payment of the used batteries!!! Going to Sue this thief! Called around. Almost $500 for our charger! Thief!!!!!!!!

Lier and a thief. Dropped a golf cart off on consignment a year ago, called a week in advance to let them know we would be picking it up on a Saturday. Upon arrival the owner had someone else cart outside to give me to pick up. When I informed him that wasnt the correct cart he stated he wasnt sure where it was and couldnt find it until Monday. He had sold three carts that week and maybe it was one of them, but he didnt know which ones hed sold. After a 12 hour drive there, a uhaul rental to haul it back, and a 12 hour drive ahead of us to get home, I told him that was pretty messed up. He began threaten me and told me, I wouldnt leave florida in the same state I came in. I left before doing something I would regret. Instead of at least offering reimbursement he offers to pay $3,000. Less than what it was worth. I would reccomend no one to go here and if I had a cart in consignment there I would attempt to pick it as soon as possible before he steals it as well.

I had them install a Jakes lift kit a high speed gear set and a set of heavy duty rear leafsprings which I had provided all bushings and hardware parts that I had bought all new. After weeks of getting the runaround from them I was told 2 days tops I finally got it back and it was making a lot of noise in the rear end so I called and they picked it up and returned it back to me a day or two later. They said they had to replace the hubs or some bs like that. Well nothing changed and it has only been getting worse, so at this point I figured if you want something done right than do it yourself.. WOW I see it now!! They never even installed the bushings and sleeves on the leafsprings that I payed for and provided. Not only that but they didnt even put most of the old ones back on it.. Unfortunately Rick lies to you to make the sale if he doesnt like you because you ask him to do his warranty work he told you that he will not honor the warranty. The cart I bought for them has a cracked body and batteries dont make a round of golf paid $5500 and it needs new batteries. This place is a rip off stay awake
