John is amazing you can ask him for some obscure part and if he has it hell find it. It could be burried deep in some sea container for years and hell know exactly where it is without checking a computer or anything. Oh and cant forget the popcorn maker in the lobby!

BorderParts is the best. John is a huge resource for Vintage/older jeeps. He’s helped me with a ‘55 CJ5, a ‘47 CJ2a, and now another CJ5 (this time a 1963). Sometimes you have to be patient with the hard to find stuff, but they always come through. (The normal stuff is always in stock or quick to get) Like others have said, no parking(Just park wherever...lol), not much of a lobby, but folks are ways friendly and real.

These guys are the best. Ive been going there for over 15 years. They always have parts I need and provide any other items I need to complete the install. Jon just looks at the broke part and walks off and gets me the right part, no questions about make model year AC.Just the right part.

Place looks like a old junk yard.. but if u have a odd part or a part that has been discontinued, this is the place to go.. might even find goodies u didnt know u need! Place is a treasure...

I used to shop at Border parts way back in 1980s-1990s. John at that time had always asked me why I was mixing my apples with oranges. I was able to find everything I needed for my cj5. I now live in Mesa Arizona and am getting back into restoring jeeps. I will be calling Border Parts for all my needs.

If you like to work on your own truck or you just like to break stuff, go to border parts. after the first time, you wont go anywhere else. theres not much parking or lobby but just park wherever and stand wherever lol but really the employees are great and they have quality parts and service, thats what matters.

A great place to find those hard to locate early Jeep & Willys parts

Its true they are knowledgeable as other people have said on their reviews. For drivetrain parts i will go to them first.AutoZone, OReilly, NAPA Auto Parts didnt carry my axle, and most likely I was going to have to buy it from the dealer or look for it at the junkyard. Border Parts had a new axle instock, for a cheaper price than the auto parts stores and got me the correct axel the first time. They also carry bearings seals and gaskets for drivetrain. Thank you for saving me time, stress and money.
