Such a cool little place! Definitely have some great beer and great food! Kitchen Manager J is doing it right behind the scenes! (Almost everything is fresh and local), and the bartenders go above and beyond on service. I highly recommend a flight, TRY WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER! You won’t regret it! Make sure to grab a growler or a 6 to go! My only problem is I can’t pick just a favorite!
Fantastic place for brews and food. I do not normally like hand cut fries, but this place figured out the way I like them. Absolutely the best. And bartender was a doll to chat it up with and provide recommendations for our pallette.
We stopped here on our way home from Colorado to North Carolina! Stayed using Harvest host. Wow we loved this place! Great food and excellent beer! The people where so nice and inviting! We had a blast! If we are ever back this way we will defiantly come back! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!
Excellent food and beer. Great vibe. One of the few places open late in the area.
Stopped in on our way back to Dallas from Table Rock on 05/18. The setting is off the beaten path and has a great feel. Loved the beers we tried, and Jennifer was super helpful in explaining what they had. The food was delicious and fresh. Well be coming past a few more times this year, and plan to make Saddlebock a stop each time!
A down home, relaxing place with beer and cider. The ladies there are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great experience
Beer tasted old, as if the lines had not been cleared. Food is marginal. Atmosphere however is cool. But thats the only reason to come back especially when there are so many other craft breweries in NWA.
Josh is the coolest dude! He’s a great asset to Saddlebock.
Good beer and good food!!! The young lady behind the bar was very sweet and took good care of our table. Very pleasant experience and highly recommend this place!
A wide variety of wonderful tap beer at a great price, delicious burgers, and the best onion rings ever! Jennifer is a Cicerone who’s extremely knowledgeable about beer, far more so than most microbrew bartenders. Brewmaster Steve was very friendly. The venue is beautiful and surrounded by green fields with hop vines. This place is definitely worth the trip out of the city.
Great beer, nice atmosphere, excellent food! I love that this place is in the country. Was confusing figuring out how to order, but once past that it was a great experience. Try the fried avocados!
Great local beer! Food was fresh and authentic! Excellent customer service! Outdoor seating with games available. Family friendly!
🍺 I am not usually a beer fan, but this place had pretty good beer. They also had a variety of beer on tap. I had the dirty blonde. It was a nice light beer. They also had a blueberry one that we sampled and it was tasty! The service was friendly. I liked that they had windows to see where they brew. The food was okay a little cold but they get the food across the road. I’d recommend the nachos they were pretty good. You can also buy six packs of their beers. Nothing fancy but a good relaxed atmosphere to enjoy beer! 🍻
Sarah, our bartender, was engaging from the moment we walked in the door. She was energetic and fun, and it brought the same out in everyone at the bar.Steve, the owner, was friendly, informative, and curious about his patrons backgrounds. There was a fun mix of locals and tourists, with none of the expected resentment from natives towards visitors.Last, but not least, the beer selection was large enough to satisfy any palate. Lagers, ales, stouts, IPA, porters, bocks, and more. Anyone who says they couldnt find something they like would have to be the pickiest, most finicky drinker you could think of, and thats without considering that they have a flavor of the week. All together, it was a great experience, and I would kill for a watering hole like this in my area.EDIT: There was so much to rave about that I forgot about their fresh beef. They raise their own beef cattle on their property and they make steaks and burgers out of them. We had the steak early on, the had sliders before we left. They were both so full of flavor that no spices or sauce were necessary.
They know beer. Its been around for awhile, obviously, and so its got a local bar atmosphere. And their wings were great. Cheers.
Had fried mushrooms and cheese curds with several kinds of cider. Everything was great. Setting is set in a gorgeous rustic woodland area. Was definitely not disappointed and will return thanks to local travel guide and bartender, Lis.
Very bad experience. Loud disruptive patron allowed to berate other customers. 1/2 of chicken wings had broken bones. Very poor product. Pale ale beer was OK.
11/11/2018Best brewery in NWA. Excellent beer, Blazing Saddles being the best. Tap list isn’t full of IPAs which is nice, atmosphere is pleasant and the food is good.8/21/2021Originally my favorite NWA brewery. I haven’t been to Saddlebock since before the start of Coivd (I live in NEA) and was excited to return this past Saturday afternoon. They added more seating up front which is cool, unfortunately every beer I tried sucked.Everything had the same sour finish/aftertaste. The Heffe, Maiebock, Vanilla Cider, and Dunkle all had it. I dumped my Heffe out in the lower sink before walking up to the bar to get something else, I thought surely it was a one-off. After the fourth attempt to find something I could finish a pint of we gave up and left. It’s almost like something went wrong in the fermentation, but I’m not sure how that happens across the board. Will update the next time I stop by.
Great food, friendly service, husband loved the Bock and I like the vanilla cider. Chef came to our table to chat...very nice man. We sat outside and it was wonderful!
Unique brewery. It is off the normal route but well worth it. This small place has charm, great onsite grown organic steaks, best beer in NWA, and close ties with winery down the road. They continue to expand as more people learn about them. Dont set your opinion when you pull in, but let they local charm do it. Happy hours daily, tours 3pm Saturday/Sunday and who thought of special nights such as trivia and bon fires!
Cool place! Had a flight and liked them all with a big thumbs up to their Imperial IPA!Had chicken fried steak sandwich with onion rings which were excellent- a must-have addition is the Blazing Saddles dipping sauce!
LOVE this place!! Off the beaten path, but not too far.Food was excellent, beer was great!Definitely try this place!!😉
This place is special! Great craft beers, great food, and most importantly amazing people. Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the extra time. The bartender, Shawn, was impressively patient and knowledgeable. We were there for a special occasion where we were enjoying the Fayetteville Ale Trail (which I highly recommend) and this place was the highlight!
We came up here to hangout for the weekend from Texas and the locals said this place was pretty good so we tried it. We ordered a flight, which is the way to go. The food was good, ordered the fried avocado that was good and quesadillas. Try a flight for sure and ask the them to give you a mix of the maiback and blueberry.....taste like blueberry pie. Check this place out!
Off the beaten path and well worth the trip. Will definitely be a regular moving forward. Great food, drink, and most importantly hospitality
Great service and tons of options! Loved the Vanilla Porter and the Peach Cider! The Farmhouse brew was great too!
Great food and service!
Great food beer service and live music
In the middle of nowhere but don’t let that influence your decision to try some amazing beers and great food. Really just a few minutes out of town. Must try
10 out of 10 would recommend 👌 great food and great service. Great beer and so much selection!!! Could stay there just trying different beers and ciders etc.
Super casual, fun atmosphere. Had a great night chatting with friends on the deck. Great growler prices, too!
Great beer, friendly & helpful staff, good food! Will definitely be returning to this hidden gem in NW Arkansas!
Love the blueberry wheat beer, super tasty. We took some home with us.
Its a beautiful and fun spot to grab a delicious craft beer and a bite to eat.
Stopped in for a couple beers and we were treated really well. Lanelle was our server! Get the dirty blonde ale!
Nice staff, good beer selection brewed on premises. Variety of specials during the week. Trivia, taco buffet, etc. 2-3 different sitting sections depending on your preference. Food menu is basic bar food, but done well.
Great service, great beer and even had trivia night when I was there.
Absolutely a great place. When we come to visit our friends we will be back. We were there on Friday. I think our bartender was Shawn and she was absolutely outstanding. She is a keeper.
This is our FAVORITE post-kayaking hang out. The staff are friendly and the beer is delicious (lookin at you Oak Vanilla Porter/Winter Daze). The Party Barn is kid and dog friendly. The bar is well air-conditioned in the summer, making it perfect place to cool down sunburnt shoulders and pick up a snack. Open patio seating is available as well. Food is delivered from the White River Cafe next door or the food truck out front of the barn. We return over and over again for the fried cheese curds and regularly crave them.
Northwest Arkansas has no shortage of quality microbreweries, and Saddlebock is no exception. Wide selection of different beers on tap with rotating seasonal selections. We love the atmosphere and location out on the edge of town. They often have bonfires on the weekends which are a perfect way to spend a chilly fall evening.
The location is AMAZING! Seriously, what a beautiful venue. I love sitting outside here. The beer, though... very hit or miss. I feel like this brewery is better for the old school crowd.
We stopped in here on the way home from a hike. By the time we left we had made several new friends. Nice spot to share drinks and snacks while meeting new people at the small inside bar.
Our first visit to Saddlebock Brwwery was wonderful. Nice atmosphere, great beer, and very good food. And both Nick and Brandy were great. Go there!
Best craft beer in NWA. Great food as well. Wings, burgers, and soft pretzels are awesome. Its dog friendly and I love petting all the sweet pups. Kids are welcome as well; mine like to play board games or bring chalk.
Fantastic beer selection! Modest food menu. The steak burgers, steaks and Bratwursts are farm to table! Laid back, locals hangout and all around great stop along the ale trail for everyone. Family friendly atmosphere, dog friendly. Great views and party venue! Go see Julie for Monday night growler fills or Thursday night trivia! Friday night bonfires (bring a lawn chair). Best hidden gem in Springdale area for local beer and grub!
Very friendly and good food.
Great
Nice and friendly stop! Staff were great to talk with. Try the vanilla bourbon porter - but watch out for the effects of 10% alcohol!
The country setting offers a place where you can fully unwind after a long days work. The relaxing view from the deck is a wonderful place to enjoy a nice cold pint of some finely crafted beers. All the beers on tap are outstanding!
Absolutely loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend the pretzels from the White River Cafe and the Blueberry Wheat. The food and service was very good.
These folks are doing some wonderful things out in the woods. Everything Ive tried was impressive. The Arkansas Farmhouse ale is really something special. True beer lovers owe it to themselves to have a pint!
Every beer here is absolutely delicious. I order a flight every time I go here. I have not been disappointed yet. Saddlebock is the place for beer.
The best brewery that NWA has to offer, hands down. The beer always has a high and consistent quality thats largely unmatched by anyone else. Not to mention that visiting the brewery itself is an awesome place to sit down, drink and, chat with the proprietor and the patrons.
Great beer! Awesome people! If you dont have a good time its your own fault.
Great location in the backwoods of Arkansas work great beer selection! I was quite impressed with how many different beers are being produced by such a small craft brewery. I recommend the farm ale!
Cozy bar in the country. Good beer. Friendly crowd. It doesnt get much better than this if you have a sober ride home.
Owner treats employees like garbage and the beer taste a little off and Im thinking its because of cleanliness. Not to mention the food was cold, and it smelt bad in there. Would have given it zero stars but thats not an option.
Even though I do like most things about Saddlebock, I find it amazingly backwards to, still, in 2018, be proud to hang a sign saying We do not serve women - you must bring your own.I will specifically convince everybody I can to not go there and wont go back there myself so long as this mindset (and sign) are there.
Nice brewery with beautiful scenery and landscape. They have a wide selection of beers. Not all their beer styles are that good, but they have a few nice surprises (helles, blueberry wheat and the vanilla bourbon porter). The food is ok, but the ambience is better: natural, quiet, modest, and relaxed. You should try their beers and judge them for yourself.
Nice place. Good beer. A bit out of the way.
Great little brewery out in the country. Nice deck and there is popcorn inside. I recommend the blueberry or vanilla bourbon beer.
This place was awesome! The tour was great, the beer was great, the atmosphere in the bar area was great, and the Owner/brewmaster was on hand to answer any questions and suggest beer samples. I think they had sixteen different beers on tap that were brewed about twenty feet away from where you drink them. An experience for sure!
Great beer and you cant beat $4.20 growler fills on Mondays. Good food too!
Worth the drive!! Plenty of seating. Our group loved playing baggo outside.
Excellent beer and food. Wonderful local brewery. Worth a visit
Really cool place. Excellent food and friendly staff.
Dessie did a great job! She hadnt been there long but did her best! Also they have a great Groupon available. Although the tour wasnt available when we visited although we emailed ahead of time. Beer selection was good but they had something going on with their lines? Some were coming out too foamy? Vanilla oak bourbon Porter was awesome though! :-)
Outdoor scenery is beautiful spring,. Indoor dining was super delicious.
Good food, very cold drinks, prompt friendly service. Plenty of TVs in a country, peaceful setting.
Good brew, and staff was very friendly! And its dog friendly
The girls working here are awesome especially shorty!
So we were at the cabin and headed into town, took a wrong turn and boom theres the sign for Saddlebock Brewery! Drive up to a barn style pub/ brewery... go inside and you got some of the best there to help ya out. Steves got a handle on making some great suds for your buds! Stop on in and have yourself a sampler and try them all out while enjoying the bonfire just dont forget to step outside and watch it! Lol 😂
Had a great time drinking great beer listening to great live music by the freight hoppers.cant wait till the next time.
Awesome selection of beer, friendly staff, low- key place. Great for a casual get together.
Great beer and burgers.
Best beer this side of the South Pole. The food is pretty good too.
Great food great place food takes a bit but worth it
They make the best cheeseburgers.
Local people place.nice enough.people bring dogs in,kinda sucked I ordered food went and got money and when I came back in dog on bar 2 feet from my beer.whe. food arrived I paid for and left.not my food.also in one hour 5 kids under 10 came in,of course they had dogs.
I had a Groupon for there tour and I had to make reservations. So I did, and when I called to conferm a week later they said they werent doing tours on that day and that nothing was reserved. Wasnt happy to hear that something I had been planning my entire week around just wasnt happening because their manager left town.
Very friendly employees. Great food and selections of beer
Unprofessional owner who calls employees mentally ill as an insult. NWA had a ton of awesome places- dont spend your money on this filthy business.
Amazing and fresh food with a whole lot of southern hospitality.
Great beer, loved the atmosphere and people. Well worth the trip, great place overall.
Extremely disappointed after driving 28 miles to do the AYCE Taco Bar.No Ice availableNo Tea availableWaited 20 mins to get beef for the taco bar and nothing. Never got to eat and had to leave to find alternate options. Server was not very helpful and didn’t seem too motivated to solve the issue. We won’t be back!
This place is fantastic! I love taking my Dad here to spend quality time together.
Little slice of heaven, awesome people and great food
Horrible, 35 mins to bring out our cold soggy fries and stale bread chicago sandwich. Horrible. Stick to making beer, not food. By the way. The KITCHEN ISNT EVEN ON SIGHT, ITS ACROSS THE STREET! !!!
Great service! Great food! Great beer!
Great craft beer and good food
Great atmosphere & great people!
Classic example of a tiny craft brewery. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about their beers which they have an extensive selection you can buy to take in growlers and bring your own keg to fill
