This place is cute. It definitely has an old fashioned feel which is cool. Nice selection of packaged foods. Not a lot of fresh and what fresh foods were available had gnats all over it and some even growing mold. Lots of seafood selection of you are into that sort of thing. Got some nice products. Store was very bad smelling and not like fresh fish it was awful worse than rotting food. The guy running it was not very friendly either. This store is so neat and hate to see it going downhill. Will be back though.

An amazing variety of foodstuffs! Canned, jarred, frozen and fresh vegetables, meats, and seafoods.

I love Asian grocers. When you walk in the door, and it feels like an mini adventure, Im all in. I like taking my time and exploring for new things to try out. If the place looks like a modern American grocery store, Im out. Little World is the only Asian grocer in town I visit. Best prices on garlic cloves in town. A great selection of frozen dumplings and steamed buns, without being overwhelming. Im sure the cluttered shop style is a turn off to some people, but I grew up in shops like this with my grandmother. It feels the way I like these shops to feel.

Was able to find everything we needed. Some things are cheaper than at Meijer.

This place is truly international. I went in to pick up a bag of rice. The customers in front of me were from West Africa. They were able to get all the food they were accustomed to eating. The same can be said of all the other customers I have seen over the many years they have been in business. I rate them so high because they always try and please their customers. They usually succeed!

The owner of the store does not hate Americans, thats absurd. Ive been here countless times and had nothing but good attitude and helpfulness. I love this place, it just needs a new floor and more room. But no complaints. Im pretty sure requiring a minimum payment for card transactions violates the service agreement, but how can you spend less than $25 here? Its impossible.

Fantastic selection of Asian food and snack items. Grouped on the shelves mostly by nationality and if you are having trouble finding something, just ask and they should be happy to help you. Just dont demand immediate attention if theyre really busy or if theres people in line waiting to check out. For a real adventure, go into the far back and look at the exotic array of dried and pickled seafood and produce. Youll look at it and think How do you even eat that?

We have been shopping here since they opened a decade ago. We love it. The selection is amazing, the owners are friendly, and the food is good.

They carry a very large selection of specialty foods at reasonable prices. The staff was very helpful. The store is quite cramped, which is the reason for the lowered rating.

You can get all the exotic ingredients you need for asian cooking from here. They also have an interesting collection of imported sodas and other beverages as well as possibly the best ramen selection in town. The place itself is kind of shabby, but items are logically organized and its very fun to just look around. If you are concerned about expiration dates, check before you buy. On occasion I have purchased something that was past due, but tasted fine. In the back there is a refrigerated section with a great variety of frozen meats, dumplings and other things. There is also a small selection of fresh produce. Service is friendly and will help you find what you need if you ask.

Everybody needs to check this little store out. I love egg rolls. Large box of concentrate., In peach and mango. Love it. Pricey.

They sell mostly asian food but also a few other ethnic foods. Arepa mix, Inca cola, plantains, yuca, Malta.

The owner of the store hates americans. and their fresh food day is on friday, they go to china town chicago thursday and buy all the old food to sell at their store, this way they buy it for lower price to sell in their store.
