Last year, i got into auto accident and had pretty extensive front end damage to my 2007 Honda Accord. Upon recommendations from my Nationwide Insurance agent (Ben Jung Nationwide Insurance), I paid a visit to Shawn Kim at Excel Auto-body for repairs. I have nothing but great things to say.The estimate that was given was spot on and actually LOWER on the final bill. After dropping off my car to start work, he personally drove me to the Enterprise down the street to get a rental. After about a week and half to gather parts and complete work, the end product was great. It looked like brand new honestly. At the end, Shawn even knocked off a substantial amount from the deductible. He is very honest and down to earth. He has treated me to lunch and has welcomed me with a hot cup of premium coffee anytime i come to visit.I feel like a valued customer and client. I come to Shawn for all my car care needs and so should you!

This is the 1st review I have ever took the time to write, but the service I received at Excel was exceptional. Shawn made the process so easy from the start. I felt he took a personal stake in how my car would turn out, taking the time to explain each step of the process in detail with me. I hope to never need body work on my car again, but if I do Shawn will be the 1st person I will call.

We were in need of some auto body work for our leased car and had no idea where to look with all the choices out there. Our local gas station highly recommended we look no further and go straight to have Shawn fix our car. He told us he was the best in the area, very honest, straight forward, great at what he does and that we wouldnt be disappointed. The experience we had at Excel Autobody exceeded our expectations! We are not only incredibly pleased with their excellent workmanship, but also with the great customer service we received from Shawn and his crew. He was courteous, honest. friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, helpful and they finish our car in the time frame we needed. We will most definitely highly recommend them to everyone!!!

I give Excel 5 stars! Shaun was extremely professional and after seeing his confidence in fixing my car my stress was completely taken. The whole experience was fantastic my car was done when Shaun said it would be. I almost didnt believe him until it was done, and WOW i mean it look like brand new! Excel did a amazing...amazing... job, and ill be a repeat customer. If i ever have auto body work done again Excel will be my first and only choice!I have also sent a couple of my friends to Excel and they all say the same thing. That they were wowed by the performance and craftsmanship supplied by this exceptional Mom and Pop body shop.If you ever need auto work done i highly recommend Excel over and over again!!

Normally I do not write review or have patience for a survey. However, this one deserves few minutes of my time.Making an appointment for an estimate was painless. The estimate for my car was very honest and fair. How do I know? After shopped around three other body shops then Ive kind of figured out who is trying to squeeze me for more.I picked up my car yesterday as prior scheduled.The work done at Excel Auto Body was SUPERB!!! Later I found out how they match my slightly fainted car paint was by using a high-tech scanner. No one is able to tell the resurface area, like it never happened. The shop manager (Shawn) told me that they are also the designated body shop for many car dealers in the metropolitan area. They guarantee their work and reputation.Although my car did not require a big job, but the Excel Auto Body still treated me with much courtesy.Thanks Shawn and Excel Auto Body!* I will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Only great things to say. My car had a loose front seat. I called Shawn and had an estimate appt. within two hours. He took the seat apart and found the cause and fixed it up for me the next day. Extremely reasonable price and great quality. He also fixed some weather striping and my center console that had been bugging me. Will certainly be back again when needed.

My passenger door and part of the right side of my car was damaged from a vehicle backing into it. The Excel Team was very professional, friendly, and competent. When I went to Excel for a quote, Shawn not only provided an estimate, but before giving me the paperwork, went through every line in detail showing me on the car exactly what would be done to repair the damage. The workers take pride in the job they do and it was obvious to me that those that work at Excel are proud to be there. I highly recommend any auto body repair to be done by Excel Auto Body Team.

After a month of fighting with my insurance company and the bodyshop that they sent me to after an accident, I was recommended to Shawn (the owner) by a personal friend. My car had been declared a loss by the body shop that my insurance company had sent me to and I desperately wanted a second opinion, and Shawn said that they were lying to me, and trying to steal my car. I had been jumping through flaming hoops trying to get my car back, and Shawn was able to get my car out from them and to his shop, where he fixed it like new. He gave me an honest price, and kept me well informed of the progress, which the old body shop did not do at all. Im never going anywhere else for my maintenance. Thank you so much Shawn for saving my car!

Very honest, good working people

I took my car to Excel because they were recommended to me by a buddy of mine when my car was Destroyed!!!But thanks to Shawn and his team at Excel they brought my car back to life! The insurance company called my car totaled but I was not in any position to start making payments on a new car...Shawn was able to find alternative ways to revive my car from the grave!Thanks to them, I am still driving my car and no payments :) I will recommend Excel to all my friend and colleagues that get in to any unfortunate damage to their car!

The very best!!!I cant give this guys a better review. The hood on my Kia needed a paint job, Mr Shawn acted like an expert and was very professional. He gave me his estimate and told me he can get it done in a day, I was impressed. Not only was he giving me a better price than other competitors but he also threw in a little extra: he promised if anything happened to the job he did, he would fix it free of charge.I came back the next week and handed him over my keys. When the job was done and I came back to pickup the vehicle, it was flawless. After I paid for the awesome service, I asked how long should I wait before I take my car to the carwash? and he offered to do it for five bucks! now thats what I call Good Old Fashion Service.

Excel recently (30-31 May 2013) replaced the door lock actuator on my Toyota Highlander for what was probably 60% of what the dealer would charge. Last year they replaced the pax-side mirror on my wifes PT Cruiser for half of the dealers estimate. Excellent and fast, Shawn (owner) is the greatest!

My Sentra SE-R decided to die on me about a month after my previous mechanic had retired. A friend of our family told me about Shaun and Excel Auto Body, so I decided to roll the dice–easily the best decision Ive ever made. Excels quotes are more than reasonable, the service they provide is extraordinary and perhaps most importantly, theyre completely honest when it comes to dealing with the customer...something that is a rarity when dealing with mechanics and automobile specialists. Excel are professional problem solves when it comes to all things automobile related. I cant say enough good things about them and I certainly will be a lifetime customer.

Charged way over what he originally quoted. The paint was thin and awful quality for what I paid. Shop took no responsibility and blamed me for it. Dont bring your car here, I wouldve rather gone to MAACO and paid a few hundred dollars. Never going back.
