Great place, good people. I own 2 businesses and could not be without my truck and my starter was going out. No other shop in Springfield even wanted to try to help me. So I called one of the best mechanics that I know Billy Simmons. He went above and beyond to help me. They was booked up and not an empty rack in the place, but he still managed to fix my truck the same day I called him. They had my truck running perfectly in about an hour. Where do I start. My jeep is still there been 2 weeks have had multiple days promised to me for service to be done. First date rolls around and they had to wait on a part. Second date rolls around and they tell me they misdiagnosed my Jeep now here we are 2 weeks later with a promise of it being done this morning and they close in 30 minutes. This has been a nightmare and they seem to not be working on my vehicle much then they order a new part without my consent because they figured I would be fine with it its only a 60 dollar part but still this is absolutely ridiculous. Will NEVER have another vehicle fixed by aamco. Terrible business terrible service.

Got my radio stolen out of my truck while it was there and absolutely nothing was done about it. Ridiculous

This place is absolutely outstanding. This evening (12/29) was the second time weve used this company for our car issues, and, once again, Billy and Co. went above and beyond.Billy sent out Brad, another awesome guy, to double-check our tyres, to see if he could do anything about the issue. Not only did he fix it on the spot, they also told us that they werent going to charge us! Yet they hinted that they enjoy Schulers which is a local bakery that is also wildly popular.Believe me, they more than earned those 26 donuts and 1/2 cookies!I HIGHLY recommend using this company for all of your car needs. I promise, you will not regret doing so!

I have been dealing with Aamco for more years than I can remember. I just took a truck that had over 100,000 miles with transmission issues. I was fearing the worst. I got a call the very next day that my truck was ready. Just under $100 was my cost. I have always had faith in Aamco. Thank you and keep up the great work...

I want to say big thanks to the guys at aamco. My beautiful truck needed work. I was afraid it was done for took it to aamco they fixed it. Best part is i got over 300,000 miles on it and they said after all the work they did it should run excellent. Twice now that i thought i would need a new vehicle and aamco fixed it. This is the worst place ever had my timing chain and water pump change took over a week and when I got it back still leaking had that new leak fixed and added an oil change tune up and transmission fluid change and a new gas cap took over a week and now my car has smoke coming out of the tail pump spark plugs are misfiring and transmission fluid not filled up theses are shotty people I will never come here again and I paid them over 2500$ to ruin my car and it had a check engine light on when I picked it up and they said I transmission issues funny i didn’t have any of these issues until they touched my car any body I how I can sue them?

Had them replace a clutch in my truck they broke the slave cylinder and it has never been right since took it back twice the last time they had it 4 days and never touched it

I asked for a quote on a transmission rebuild. I basically dropped the truck off expecting them to confirm that I needed a new transmission. They were very professional, they called me exactly when they said they would. I was impressed by these guys.They inspected the truck (at no charge) and informed me that I only needed new lines (the lines had rusted and were leaking out my fluid). They could have easily told me the transmission was out.Honest people. Probably saved me thousands. Im still getting a second quote (because Im ridiculous) but I expect to be back for the repair.UPDATE:I ended up going back for the repair they suggested (could not find a lower price, and a few shops said they couldnt even do the repair). They finished it right on time, and Ive been driving the truck trouble-free.

Quoted me a price and said that was the problem with my truck and it would be running fine next day said it was some other things as well.price went from 400 to 800 but what could i do other than accept the robbery and never go there again

I brought in my vehicle on Wednesday. Slightly late in the day, not really a problem if it couldnt be squeezed in that day.Calls, says it will be done tomorrow morning because people want to go home and not work on it. Cool.Next day. No call until 4pm.They havent even started were gonna keep it another night.Cool.Got it the next morning, never came back again. Told everyone I know not to ever come back again.

They did a real good job on my transmission

Went in for a check engine light. Got the free inspection... Found problem area and set appt. for the fix all in a couple hours! Great consumer service, friendly staff, affordable fix.

They have a friendly staff. And they tell you whats wrong with your car and even hold it for a few days while youre trying to come up with money for fixing at no charge!

I recently took over ownership of my grandfathers jeep Grand Cherokee and he gave me all the paperwork from all the work hes had done on this jeep dating all the way back to 2005. I took the jeep in and the transferred everything service work related from my grandfather over to me and made it really easy. I would recommend this to anyone and will go back and the staff is really friendly.

I started going to AAMCO for car service in December. Since then I have taken it in a half dozen times for various reasons. I am very pleased with the service I receive there and I always have faith that my car is in good hands. The employees are knowledgeable and very willing to explain the repairs being made. I will continue to take my car to AAMCO for service and repairs and would recommend it to others.

Best place in Springfield Ohio to get your vehicle worked on. The staff is friendly and trustworthy. They also offer to take you home if your vehicle is going to take awhile so you dont have to wait in waiting area.

Dan Banks the service manager is awesome. My car was making a noise and he was able to diagnose the problem in a timely manner. He explained everything in detail and gave prices that were reasonable in order to fix my vehicle. I highly recommend everyone go see Dan!

Took my Ford truck in for possible transmission rebuild. Was expecting the worst in repair fees. The old truck wasnt worth the cost of a rebuilt transmission. Turns out all it needed was replacement of a bolt. Whew! what a relief. They could have charged me $3,000 or more, I wouldnt have known the difference. Instead it was only $62.00!!!! I highly recommend this place for their honesty and expertise.

From a female perspective, and having had search for an excellent mechanic and shop for the past few years -- my search is done! Fantastic Customer Service with a great staff of auto experts that are there to help you! I totally recommend this place! Recently, I thought I had an oil leak. I took my Trailblazer to AAMCO and they immediately got my vehicle in the shop. They also gave me a ride home while they worked on the car! It was actually my Transmission that was leaking, they quickly fixed, flushed and replaced the lines! Ask about the financing option!!! We took our truck in to AAMCO when we suspected that there was an issue with the transmission. We talked to many shops in the area and they were willing to look at it for free and tell us what was wrong BEFORE doing any repairs to it. Their quote for the repair was a fair price for the job done. The employees were friendly and very helpful. We took the truck back for an oil change just a couple weeks ago, and they did a fantastic job. I ran into one of the employees at my job a few days ago, and he remembered me, and checked up with me on how the truck was running. What great customer service! If we have any issues in the future, we will be going back to AAMCO.

Absolutely terrible. Went here for transmission issue becuase it was recommend by my warranty company as a local place to go to. Threatened to not let me take the car till the warranty paid the bill. Thats beyond my control about issues under warranty. They also wouldnt answer my questions over the phone and told me that they didnt have time after hanging up on me. Terrible customer service skills!

I been there many times high priced labor and this time they didnt fix the problem I dropped my car off for tech couldnt find the rattle after driving my car and using a quarter of gas but its funny how I pick my car up and I hear the rattle I dont think they know what they are really doing time for me to try I different auto place I think they are just out to high price the labor on easy stuff spent hundreds there all ready Beware

I am a returning customer of Aamco - they have previously installed a transmission in my Pontiac G6. Sunday, I was advised from another car care provider that I may have blown a head gasket. Once receiving this information. My next plan was to reach out to Aamco. Which I did. Fortunate, for myself that a gasket was not blown & they recommended other preventative care. Which was necessary. My continued experience with Aamco has been of the highest quality of customer care. Thank you, Aamco !!!

We have been taking our Honda Odyssey to AAMCO for a while now from fixing an oil leak to checking to see what was wrong with the front end. The employees are very nice and their pricing is very fare.

Took my car into to get the transmission checked out. They did their inspection test, came back thirty minutes later. Told me I had a transmission issue, I said I already knew that. I asked of they knew what the issue with it was. They said it is a internal problem, I said ok I know that, do you know what that internal probem is? They said they would have to drop it down pull it apart to see. I asked do I need a rebuild or just a part fixed and they could not give me a answer. They also said it would take them four days to fix it. I have work and need the vehicle, I cannot be without a car for that long of period. A good mechanic should have a general idea of the issue at hand when looking at a vehicle. But they would not give me a clue. So shop around before going with aamco or you will walk out missing a arm and leg from the way they were talking.

Quality work at fair prices. Everything that needed to be done was explained to me and work was completed same day.

First and foremost i wanna thank Dan he has continously looked out for my safety and for that i will be forever greatful so on this particular trip my car brakes where making a noise well i was out and stopped at another shop well little did i know they would use a scare tactic to try and catch me up so after given the price i said im good and called Dan and to my surprise here lies a true and honest man Thank you Dan and all staff at aamco you are family

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had my transmission done here. They told me it would be a 7 day turn around. They ordered my transmission from the manufacturer, when it came in, it turned out to be the wrong one. They ordered another, that also turned out to be the wrong one. They ordered a third transmission. Finally it was the right one. Got my truck back in 15 days. My transmission lines were still leaking but they didnt even tell me. I took it in for the 10 inspection, they still didnt let me know the lines were leaking. I took it for an oil change at National Tire and Battery and they let me know my lines were leaking. So I took it back to AAMCO and they said its not their problem. Wanted me to spend more money on top of the $3400.00 I had already spent with them. I wouldnt recommend this incompetent, overpriced company to anyone.

Traveling thru Springfield with my family as we move across the country. . And are car waa making this terrible noise. Took it to aamco and they fixed it immediately and @ no cost !!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a simple fix, and anyone else would have at leasst chargerd maintenance fees...these people are wondeful, I would suggest anyone and everyone to get their car serviced here !

I was extremely pleased with the phenomenal customer service I received from Aamco who saved me from purchasing a vehicle that looked great on the outside but would have required many repairs! I live in Dayton and found a used car online near Springfield that I was planning purchase. I needed a mechanic’s opinion before I made the official offer. I found Aamco was located within a 15 minute driving distance of the car I was purchasing, and I called to find out what the used car inspection fee would be. I was amazed to learn that this is a service Aamco offers FREE to their customers. I received a THOROUGH detailed inspection which provided enough information for me to know the car I considered purchasing would have cost me a great deal of money in repairs. I whole heartedly recommend Aamco in Springfield for service and repairs.!

Didnt have a very good experience. For one it took them over 2 weeks to fix the transmission. For two it was very expensive. Do your research before giving your car or truck to them to fix.We were also given one price to only have them to add $700.00 more later.I dont recommend them.
