The last two times I’ve come here to get an oil change something goes wrong with my car a week later. One time it was leaking oil after the oil change I went back they told me they forgot to put something back on during the oil change. The last time I got a routine oil change and my oil light came on that next week. I thought it may be a glitch in my car bc I had JUST got an oil change and there were no leaks. Now my engine is locked up. I drive a 2015 Kia Optima. The mechanic says there is no way this should have happened with me just getting a oil change within months ago. I do not recommend Pit Stop on S. Limestone in Springfield Ohio.

We broke down on 70W in Springfield and National Pit Stop rescued us!! We had our car towed to the shop without knowing much about them. They were closing as we arrived, but they checked out our car and determined we needed a new alternator. We were stranded without a car (obviously) so Ty and his daughter personally drove us to our hotel and gave us recommendations for dinner and breakfast within walking distance. He called back first thing the next morning (Saturday, on a holiday weekend no less) to let us know that they were able to get an alternator and the car would be done by 1. The car was done just after noon and they drove to pick us up. I highly recommend this team for their fantastic service and willingness to go above and beyond. 10 stars!

NEVER EVER AGAINi waste a day just to have an alignment donei waste $107 because the alignment was not done properly, they said i need a special bolt to adjust my shocks so my CASTER on driver side will be straight haha whatever...on top of all that my cv axle boot driver side got broken during their job, all i heard its there is grease leaking somewherei hate so much when i bring my car to a mechanic shop and come out with more problem, I HATE THAT SO MUCHso to fix my alignment i had to go to another shop and the CASTER problem with alignment got fixed in less than an hour

This is a very professional shop. Took my car in for wheel bearings and they were finished the same day and at a much lower price than another shop quoted. Will continue to support this business and highly recommends this shop.

I cannot say enough good things about National Pit Stop! I was due for an oil change and got in no wait on New Year’s Eve 2020. They did all the checks and fluid top offs that Valvoline would do, but better, faster, and wayyyyy cheaper. The owner also showed me a service reminder feature in my car that no one had shown me before. I was missing at least 1 tire pressure cap and they replaced them. I just wish they had more locations!!!!

Very helpful. Had weird bolts on license plate and neither me or nephew could get one plate off. National Pit Stop was able to switch plates for me in a few minutes. They also did this gratis which I gratefully accepted. My next maintenance or repair National Pit Stop will be in consideration for the job.

My parents went here as I was a kid. I go there now as an adult and now my daughter even takes her truck here. Very honest and reliable. They do a quick job, but thorough. You will never go any other place once you have been here.Thank u for all the years of great service!!!

Twice they have left my oil plug loose. Now they tell me I have an oil cover gasket leaking and to take it to their repair Dept for service. I took it to another repairman who said the spilled oil on the engine. No leaks at all. Lost my business!

My husband & I brought our equinox in for a recharge on the ac..got it back within the hour there was no ac..a week later we bring our suburban in for arecharge..(IT HAD AC WHEN WE BROUGHT IT IN & AC CAME RIGHT ON JUST WASNT COLD ENOUGH) within an hour of being home we noticed a noise coming from behind the passenger back tire..had tire checked that wasnt it..had shocks changed & realized the AC lines were blown! Brought back in the following morning to be told its not their fault the lines were blown & itll be $745.00to fix it!! HOW DO YOU EXPECT HONEST PPL THAT WORK HARD FOR THEIR CHECK TO JUST BE ABLE TO THROW THEIR MONEY AWAY WHEN NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE UNIT WHEN IT WAS BROUGHT IN!!??

They didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary upgrades like some other places. They run an efficient operation.

Being new to an area and looking for a good shop can be intimidating, but I found a great place on my first try with these guys. Theyre honest, thorough, and their prices are fair. Sometimes with shops you can get the distinct impression youre being taken advantage of, especially as a woman, but not here. They explained everything they were doing and the quote they gave for the work didnt deviate from the final charge. Ive taken my car to them twice now and theyve earned a long-term customer. Theyre in the process of expanding too so soon theyll be able to handle more business. If your car needs work take it to Pit Stop and you wont be disappointed.

I went to National Pit Stop for a quick oil change. What I got was much more. When I visit places like this, the last thing I expect to receive is good service. However, this place rocks! The service is very attentive and courteous. They dont push stuff on me that I dont need. Since my first oil change back in January 2012, Ive been back two other times. Once for another oil change on my other vehicle and again recently to get my wipers replaced. I was also having an issue with my rear wiper not working properly. They fixed it on the stop, no charge. I was told that they do practically everything for vehicles except mufflers. Ill be going back for sure. Thanks National Pit Stop!I swear I dont work for these guys nor am I related. Im just a very satisfied customer.

Called this place they quoted a standard oil change at $29...$32 after tax my girl got there and told the guy that we already talked to them and was told what we was quoted he said oh ok got my car in and done the oil change then came off with $38 when we had questions about the difference the owner who did the oil change said he didnt know what to tell us every car is different and price that thats what we had to pay and was extremely rude through out the whole ordeal will never ever go back to national pit stop Just when I figured it could not get worse than Midas....
