This place is amazing! In addition to leather and leather working supplies, theres also a very large selection of beads and gemstones. Ill need to go back when I have a bit more time and direction in what projects Id like to create. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Weve been customers of Springfield Leather for a few years now and they are always amazing. Angela is so helpful! I called today with a lack of planning on my part that turned into a slight emergency and Angela went above and beyond. From Angela to the cut team to shipping, all of their crew are amazing! All of my orders are always wrapped to be as protective as possible during shipping. The hides are always as described and the prices are awesome! Can I give them 10 stars?

I went here to check about getting my leather tool pouch repaired. Not only could they fix it, but they worked it in right away. Didnt have to wait long and the price was great.While I was waiting I walked around in the store looking at the many amazing things they offer for sale.Part of it was like a gem store you might see in Colorado. Other areas contained everything leather for crafts and repairs. I heard lots of employees giving advice and tips to customers. Very friendly place.Bring your kids and enjoy a great field trip.

I felt very overwhelmed when I entered the store. There is so much to look at, and it is wonderful. Multiple employees offered to help us, and showed us what we needed when I had questions. They have rocks, leather items, and even everything for jewelry. Its a amazing store and you should definitely add this store on your list of Gems of Springfield. You will not be disappointed.

The absolute best customer service department of any company Ive ever had to deal with. Kendra and Abby always go above and beyond for their customers to make sure orders are accurate and quickly and without question fix any problem that may happen. Would recommend this company to anyone interested in learning the craft of leatherwork.

Never again. My first order went fine, but this one will be the last. I ordered a punch set and screw posts.... everything showed in-stock when I placed the order.... they said the punch set and one set of screw posts were out of stock, and I wasnt charged ...... But there was no back-order and I was charged $20.50 postage for 4 oz. of merchandise. You would think that someone looking at the order might pick up the phone, or send an e-mail and ask if I wanted them to complete the order with what they had .... this was a complete waste of money and time.

This place is the best for both leather and beads. We come here everytime were in Springfield and everyone is so nice.

Lots of beads to choose from, although most were out of my price range. For people with $$$, Im sure they could find nice beads. Cabachons were plentiful. Workers were helpful and knowledgeable.

Picked up my new NP4 today. Terri from the sewing room spent well over an hour with me showing how to operate the machine and then went on to give me invaluable help on my Cobra 26. She was fantastic. I so appreciate all her help.

Walked in needing some holes punched in my leather sandals. They did it at no charge and was out in 5min unlike the shoe repair place I went to before which wanted me to leave it for a full day with them. Great experience

Absolutely love this place! Not only is their selection of leather and associated tools and products extensive, but so is the knowledge of the staff. They are always so helpful and informative with any questions I have for them...which is generally a LOT.

Quality leather, tools and customer service. As a crafter i use 80 of the materials I need from Springfield. Just quality guys, galls and pups. Called last week with questions about thread size and needles for a tool i purchased somewhere else, they asked me to email them the tool, did research and then helped me pick up what I needed.one of countless times they went above and beyond! Packages are always destroyed, and the staff on the phones always seems to not know what theyre doing. Ive called up there multiple times with different people and eat one usually trips “they dont know.” Extremely unprofessional.

I shop here all the time via mail order. I was going to be in Kansas City, so I made a trip down to Springfield just to go to Springfield Leather Company. Everyone was really helpful. Denny gave me a quick tooling lesson, Kevin helped me with some stones I was looking at. I really recommend stopping if you are in the area.

This is my favorite store of all time! The smell as soon as you walk in is pure heaven. They have the best selection of leather and leather crafting tools that I have ever seen. Their prices are also some of the best I have seen. They have a huge leather and bead side. They have also recently added a large unique rock collection section for anyone who loves rocks. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Ive never had them not be able to answer my crafting questions. They will also demonstrate how to do certain techniques and have areas where you can get hands on experience with some of their tools etc. Hands down my favorite store!

Best customer service i have ever had. Bar none. Denny and Kevin both were super helpful in answering any questions i had. Was in the store almost all day and asked a lot of question to both of them and every time they would take the time to explain exactly how they did something and why they did it that way. Showed Denny a knife sheath i made and he made a few very good critics of it which helped the next one i built to come out way better than the one i showed him. I’ve never had access to Herman oak leather before so i was cautious about spending the extra money on it but Kevin cut off a good size chunk for me to try, ended up in a sale of the leather and will definitely be using nothing but Herman oak from now on out. Just can’t find a place with customer service as good as these guys anymore.

This place is so fun to shop at. Its like a mineral museum in one side. You can but rocks and fossils, beads, leather, and crafting tools. Its not a good place for kids. The staff is nice, but theres a lot of fragile stuff in there. 😬
