I have three tattoos done by Jason Lee. I am very pleased with the tattoos and experience at Newage. I stop in to see the new location after donating blood today. The new place looks amazing. I will be back to schedule another tattoo soon.

I was utterly delighted and do intend to return. Clean, good taste in death metal, personable, affoardable and friendly, and any man with a pickle rick medal can pierce me any day of the week. Ill note they only take cash, so bring money.

I got a medusa done and the piercer opened everything in front of me. Was a cool guy to joke with but still remained professional as a piercer. When the needle and jewelry got snagged(not the piercers fault, the needle and hollow tube didnt fit like they were supposed to) he was gentle and talked to me to make sure i was doing ok. . overall would definitly go back for another piercing.

I walked in and was greeted within seconds by Roger. I did not have an appointment. He took my ID, had me fill out the paperwork, and took me back to his piercing room. Roger was very friendly, funny, and personable. He was quick but definitely wasn’t rushing anything. He pierced my nose, explained the aftercare and handed me a paper with care instructions as well. I was very nervous to get my nose pierced and I’m glad I went to Roger. Would definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to get their nose pierced!

Just went here and got a helix piercing. Roger was a WONDERFUL piercer and the whole environment was great. Masks are required and everyone we saw was wearing one and socially distancing as much as possible!! Would definitely come back here again.

I was told this was the best place in town for piercings and read all the reviews before going to get my ears pierced in February. I had heard that Roger was a “funny” and “unique” guy. While I know he did a good piercing job, I did not enjoy my experience. He talked down to me the whole time and lectured me about my “fake nickel allergy” and his jokey responses to my serious questions about after care weren’t appropriate. I felt belittled the entire time by him. I have had other piercing experiences with male piercers that were respectful and professional. This experience wasn’t one of them and I wasn’t comfortable. I have been told by many customers that you just “have to deal with his personality” because he’s the best. That is unacceptable for any customer to have to deal with rude and patronizing behavior just because someone does good work. I will not be returning to Roger to get future piercings, I will gladly go elsewhere.

Nice people only thing I didn’t like was when I got my nipples pierced he had me lay down to pierce them. I was told by a friend who pierced in another state that you should never have them pierced laying go down they’ll be lopsided. Which they were. I had to take them out cause the doctor said my body was rejecting the piercing but otherwise he’s super nice made me feel comfortable. Clean organized shop is a bonus.

All the artists are extremely welcoming and friendly. They by far do the best work in town. They love to take the time to make sure you are getting exactly want you want and that your tattoos are the best quality and most hygienic available. They are always looking to improve the industry.

I went and got my first nose piercing done at this shop, it was done by Roger, then about a week later went in because I thought I did something to my piercing and he walked me though cleaning steps again and did an inspection to make sure it was good and everything. He was very nice and professional and he also likes to joke with you to put you at ease. I would HIGHLY recommend getting any piercings done here! 💙

Shop was clean and everyone was friendly! Roger did a great job piercing my nose and pricing was more than fair.

I had Nick do a flower on my arm. Beautiful work and very considerate. Offered me water and a soda when I was feeling nauseous. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and joking around with each other and the customers. Definitely going back for the rest of my sleeve!

I had my first long appointment tattoo done here about a month ago by Jason. Lets just say that I didnt tolerate it as gracefully as I hoped I would. Jason and his team did absolutely everything to help me get comfortable enough to finish my breathtaking, beautiful piece. Great place to get a Tattoo!!Tattoo parlors come and go in Springfield, IL but Newage Tattoos and Body Piercings is the benchmark for quality work in Springfield. I had a couple pieces (Tribal on arm and my Family Crest on my back) done like 10 years ago at Newage and Im thinking about getting back in the game :)

I came here to watch my wife get her nose pierced. The guy that pierce her nose seemed a little off. He kept talking about the government and how anti-government he is. It made us feel rather uncomfortable, but with that aside, he did do a good job with the piercing.

Roger was awesome! I walked in super close to closing and he got me in anyway!
