As much as I enjoy bookstores, I dont frequent them nearly enough which might be for the best considering my collection of unread masterpieces. This place has changed my mind on that and has absolutely inspired me to support such an awesome establishment.Primarily, their customer service and communication skills are absolutely *chefs kiss* perfection. Ive been searching for an affordable version of part of a manga series and they found the volume at a reasonable price, provided simple invoicing, and then let me know it was ready for pick up.Now, through no fault of their own, I realized I had ordered the wrong volume. I was still pleased with service and was going to take the book with me and they decided to refund me ON TOP OF THAT. I was pleasantly surprised and touched by the gesture! That went above and beyond my expectations and Im excited to do lasting business with this shop going forward. Plus the shop is hella cute and deserves lots of perusing!

We stopped at Pagination Bookshop on our way to St. Louis and we were so glad we did! This bookshop has a fantastic selection of new and used books and the staff is so friendly as well! If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!

My wife and I decided that this year we are going to do our best to do some of our Christmas shopping locally, supporting local businesses where we can. Yesterday we checked out Pagination Bookshop and we were blown away by the proprietor, and the store. Fantastic selection, reasonable prices, and any book that the store didnt have in stock they could order in for us easily. The shop is a renovated home on Walnut that was built in 1905, and its incredibly charming. If there are people on your Christmas lists with books in their future, check out this local shop. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Very beautiful and interesting space with a wide variety of books, both new and used. The person who assisted me was very kind and offered me a used copy of the book I had decided on, which was much cheaper and still in great condition.

Its hard not to fall in love with Pagination. I got to know the owners through my job, and ever since, they have grown the brand to be a community staple. Theyve turned an adorable house on Walnut Street into the cutest independent store that feels comfortable enough to hole up in and relax. I also love that the owners will select a few titles for you if youre stumped on what to read next.

This beautiful bookstore is exactly what Springfield needed: a center for its literary arts, in the same way that first Friday art walk provides the center for visual arts activity. I last visited on a rainy weekend, and it was such a nice retreat from the weather and the world. The collection is beautifully curated, and there are many treasures to be found.

This is a great little bookshop in downtown Springfield. Its cozy, friendly, and inviting. It also has a decent selection of books, and the owners offer friendly suggestions. I love it!

Pagination Bookshop is a wonderful little book store, carrying both new and used books. Its located in a restored Victorian home, so there are several wood-floored rooms with shelves around the walls, and chairs strategically placed so you can comfortably sample a book before buying. They have an eclectic selection, mostly hardback, which is part of the appeal of small local bookshops. The clerk was friendly and we chatted about authors and genres. A very nice feature was a small room under the stairs that had a Harry Potter theme, complete with a white owl, Marauders Map, and comfy chair; a delightful set-up. Pagination also sells a variety of other merchandise, including book bags, scarves, & knit hats. We visited Pagination while we were at Springfields Artsfest in May, the week it opened. It is a dream of an indie bookstore on historic Walnut Street, charming inside and out. Full disclosure: we couldnt get past the childrens area because we were with our two-year-old grandson who fell in love at first sight with the appropriately sized furniture and great selection of new and used books. In fact, he requested to go back to the bookshop later that afternoon, and of course, we revisited. We stopped by Harry Potters nook on that visit. Seriously adorable. We cant wait to go back and spend some time in the grown-up section. Do yourself a favor and visit!

Incredible local bookstore!

This is my number one place to get books in Springfield! Sure, its small, but you go in and find books by surprise! Most of the books are used which makes them feel special and everyone there is just super nice!!!

Extra cool place! Has got lots of books, lots of space to move around walk around. The owner, Jennifer, is extra friendly and willing to help you the book that youre looking for. The upstairs is an Airbnb.

Really neat find! Alot of Recent and popular books here that are used and sold much cheaper than barnes and noble! Check here first. Lovely homey feel too

Quite possibly the coolest, quaint bookshop ever. From the old house, rooms stuffed with books, and owner/literature professor, the vibe is just right.
