Pretty bad experience with this company, if they are even really a real company. Ordered a tent back in June. Got an email that the item is back ordered and won’t ship until August. First red flag, because at the time of ordering the website showed it “in stock”. But ok, I’ll wait. It’s just past the middle of August now. No update yet. So last week I reached out via email for an update on when to expect my item to ship. No response. I called last Friday during business hours. No answer so I left a message regarding my order. No call back. Tried to call today. No answer. Sent an email to cancel my order. Haven’t heard back yet but at this point I have a feeling I’m going to have to deal with the credit card company and report this as fraud. I don’t care what excuse they give me, if they even respond at all, but nothing is excusable to not even respond to a customer who’s money you received and you have provided the product they ordered yet. Items being out of stock is one thing. Not responding to simple questions is totally different and inexcusable. I would avoid doing business here at all costs. I’ve read some pretty good reviews but things have obviously changed for the worst here.
I purchased anawning and tent from this company last September. Once the awning was intalled we realized that all the zippers were sewn incorrectly (backwards) and none of the awning walls nor the tent would work with it. We were actually at an event where Artemis were and they came down and looked at it said they would take care of it. I had to follow up multiple times no response, I finally got a response and had to drive the 2.5 hours to them to get the tent swapped out as well as it was wrong too. I never recieved an awning that was correct and never heard back from Artemis, I guess they are still waiting on that container to come in a year later. I also got tired of never getting a response and calling to get no where. I finally sold the awning to someone who didnt need the awning walls and sold the tent to someone who actually had an awning that was correct. To try to get some of my money back. I understand that they dont produce the product, but if your going to sell it then offer some customer service and take care of your customers and offer to make things right.
Amazing customer service! These guys are the real deal for all of your overlanding parts and accessories. They went above and beyond, they met me 3 hours after closing on a Saturday so I could grab something for my trip to Colorado! Will always be a customer!

I pre-ordered a tent from them recently, but unfortunately there was a delay from the tent manufacturer, likely due to the pandemic in some part. Completely understandable, but the delay would have unfortunately pushed back some of my camping plans. I called and asked if I could cancel the pre-order and get a refund, and they obliged instantly. Received the paypal refund email moments after hanging up the phone. Hated having to cancel, but Im pleased with the prompt and understanding service. Will definitely keep them in my browser favorites for future outdoors equipment purchases.
They provide a wide range of products that are hard to find elsewhere and at very good prices. They shipped my order quickly. If you have any issues with your order it can be a challenge to get a hold of anyone, but Caitlyn was able to get mine sorted out.
Aaron was awesome to work with. He got our Alu-Cab Explorer canopy ordered quickly and installed it immediately upon arrival. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Neat store too - so many top notch items! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Will definitely be back.
Sells items that arent in stock. Takes my money and then sends an email informing me that they, may get the item in 10 days. No way I would ever do business with them again. I do all I can to support small business but it is a company like this that drives customers to big box stores.
Had a smooth purchasing experience. I bought two items, one of which I later decided to cancel, and they quickly arranged that with no problems. The other item arrived in a very timely manner. Would do business with them again.

Highly recommend to anybody building their own adventure vehicle or needing help with their build! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. If they dont cover what you are looking for they will point you in the right direction. Unlike some they dont mind if you buy one light at a time, they dont try to push the whole package on you. Wil be returning!

All round great experience, we bought the Ikamper from here and the owner helped us order in the correct roof rack etc and installed on the vehicle for us. Really friendly and they had a range of tents and gear to choose from.

I ordered a couple of items from this company and had a little snag with the shipping. I was quite concerned with the issue due to experiences with other vendors. When I called them I got a very quick call back from a very friendly person. My issues were taken care of and she followed up with me. I have seldom experienced such amazing service and highly recommend this company for purchasing overland gear. You can do so with great confidence that they will take excellent care of you.
Quite the vehicle outdoor store. I was there to do some work, but this is quite the store. I was not aware they were here. If youre looking for vehicle mount tent rigs, free standing tents, gadgetry, gear for your rig or campsite, you NEED to be here. DO IT!!!
Back in May of 2020 I ordered a Quick Pitch awning from Artemis along with other items that were shipped out right away.I was told at the time that the awning would be on back order due to the pandemic, I was ok with that as some things are out of their control. The awning was finally received damaged in December of 2020.What I am not ok with is the lack of customer service I have received from Artemis. I have bought from several overlanding companies and I have never experienced such horrible customer service like I have received from Artemis.I am not sure how a company can run and make money and NEVER answer their phone. I am not sure if they are purposely not answering when they see my name on the caller-id or they just don’t answer the phone.I have sent several emails to both Caitlyn and Aaron (owner) asking for an update as to when the damaged awning cover will be sent out. If and when I do receive a response it comes from Caitlyn only. The lack of follow thru as you can see is ridiculous.12/2 - As soon as I opened the box, I saw that the awing cover was damaged in transit and sent a picture right away to Caitlyn.12/4 - Asked when a replacement cover was going to be sent out and received a response from Caitlyn that she was going to get one sent out ASAP. QuickPitch also confirmed that the awning’s need to be shipped differently going forward so this doesn’t happen again.12/11 – Asked for an update, no response from Caitlyn. Tried calling on the phone, no answer.12/21 – Asked for an update, Caitlyn responds she will ask QuickPitch for an update12/30 – Asked for another update, since I am not getting a response in return1/4 – Asked for an update, now I am getting annoyed that I must keep asking for one.1/5 - Caitlyn responds that she still hasn’t heard and will follow-up again1/6 – Caitlyn responds that she will get an answer in one week when factory reopens1/20 – Still no response from Caitlyn, yet again I ask for an update1/22 – Caitlyn apologizes and received a response that the replacement bag was sent by air a week prior2/1 - Still no response from Caitlyn, yet again I ask for an update2/3 – I send a follow-up email, still no response.2/4 – Try calling and yet again no one answers the phone.I have read from others that they have also been ignored and have received poor customer service. Buyer beware before buying from this company as they are not very professional. Good communication would go a long way.

One star is too kind. Horrible. Can’t stress this enough. HORRIBLE to deal with. They work from a HUGE book of excuses. Mostly Covid delays. However the last straw was an order I placed that was IN STOCK. Aaron texted a photo of it, I agreed to purchase and he sent an invoice. I paid the invoice within minutes. Two weeks later I call to find out what’s going on with the order, Caitlyn had no knowledge of the order. Almost two more weeks go by before they cancelled the order and issued a refund. Still waiting on the refund to show up in my account. I’m sure this isn’t over. Do NOT be fooled by the positive reviews!!!!!! BEWARE!!
Ordered about a month ago has not shipped yet and I have left a bunch of voicemails and emails and nobody will reply. Would not recommend to anybody!!
I purchased a camping stove for a great price that was on backorder & received in less than a week! The quality of packaging & speed of shipping was very impressive, especially during Covid. Amazing customer service & quick response from Caitlyn regarding my order. Highly recommend!
Terrible customer service. I spoke with Caitlyn Franklin about my order and how I never received it. She said she would look into my order. I’ve tried calling and emailing and now she is ignoring my calls. It’s been several days since my order said it was received and I still have not received my mount. I think this company is extremely unprofessional and do not deserve to be in business.
Ordered Ironman 2 suspension lift for my Lexus LX470. Took a couple weeks to ship out but Caitlyn @ Artemis was very helpful throughout the order. Really happy with my purchase. Definitely will be purchasing from Artemis again!

By Christ, this is really a big thing! A big, expensive thing! What used to be a very exclusive niche market devoted to off the grid survivalists, has turned into a Lollapalooza of big ticket items from customized roof racks, teetering tents, solar arrays and endless and impressive configurations of storage ideas for any imaginable SUV, truck, or VW bus. As I strolled (Covid-19 masked), through an outdoor showcase of wildly outfitted vehicles, I realized I was deeply steeped in a thick stew of testosterone, internal combustion engines, and gadgetry devoted to leaving civilization behind. The beloved Mad Max of my late teens has been embraced by Gen Xers and millennials with money. No roughing it is required, if you can afford it, you can play Road Warrior without getting too muddy or too bloody. I love this stuff and I love the idea of individual lonerism and self sufficiency, but at the same time, the thought that my childhood fantasies of an apocalyptic future are becoming a reality, is frightening as hell.
