Went to pick up a firearm after my 3 day cool down period. I got there at 6:40 plenty of time before close and couldn’t get my firearm. I don’t know how you don’t have a person who can run the gun counter till close. There are people who cannot get off work in time and come in as soon as possible to be turned down which doesn’t make sense to me. Was helped by Missy clothing department. She helped me for about an hour. She was a very great person. Would recommend farm & home supply in Springfield Illinois to my friends.

I was greeted at the door and the staff are very helpful in finding what you are looking for.

Wonderful young man assisted me in the Sporting department. He was pleasant and eager to help. He also suggested calling ahead for certain items to be sure they were in stock before my 30 mile drive.

I picked up my first new riding lawnmower yesterday. Noticed it had a plug in the tire. Sales man said it had a flat and they plugged it. Ok. Got it home started to mow well the plug didnt hold. Called they came to my house and put a nother tire on. Thanks you.

Stopped in for chicken feed and was surprised with fall chicks. The flock grows.

Good selection. Staff is decent but not eager to provide assistance. Needed help finding an item. Several employees chatting at front of store but only one checkout open with customer making multiple transactions and needed some sort of product verification. I had to ask for help to load but another customer loaded for me before someone finally came out.

Had such a wonderful assortment of spring plants, trees and bushes at the start of this season. Most went very quickly.

Found everything I was looking for plus other great deals. The store was very organized and clean and the staff well lets just say they went above and beyond to help locate things I was looking for and even offered additional coupons that saved me even more than I expected. So I have to give both Farm and home on West Wabash and North Dirksen 5 stars. Good job Farm and Home!! You dont find the type of help and courtesy I experienced at both locations at many places anymore. Ill definitely be back and will be spreading the word. 👏

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. We informed the young man at the register that our purchase was a gift for someone and he double-bagged it so they couldnt see what was on the inside without even being asked. He was very friendly.

They have staff that are very knowledgeable about certain projects and can make some great recommendations. I used their recommendations to do some projects myself for way less than Buckley’s would charge me.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. Purchased a riding mower and when I got home the tire was flat so they came to my house and replaced it.

I visited the garden canter, and most of their plants were dead or nearly dead from lack of watering. The sales person tried to tell me they get watered twice every day, but it was apparent the majority of these plants hadnt seen water in several days. The temperature had been on the cool side, so they couldnt have dried out that quickly.

Really the only good farm supply store in town. And sometimes you need farm supplies in a home.

I miss shopko but this is really the store for me and any outdoorsy type. Theres a little bit of everything for everybody.

Its a little more crowded than before the pandemic. Lots of City people are there now. I see a drop in agricultural items and clothing. This is especially seen in womans Ariat Boots and Justin Gypsy Boots. This is a farm store and ment for the agricultural community

Farm and Home is ready for 2018 deer hunting season and no one else on this side of town is even close to matching their selection. The other farm store this side of town had low selection. They sell a mock scrape drip, but nothing to fill it with??? W-marts new and improved sporting goods section doesnt have near the selection they had last year for calls and attractants either and they told me they are not expecting more to come in. Farm and Homes selection though has gotten bigger and better.

Worst food ever

Have been a patron for more than 25 years. Nothing but the most kind and helpful sales staff. Love the selection of plants and seeds in the spring. I recommend them to anyone looking for farm supply or gardening supply store.

Wasted my entire lunch hour waiting for help in hardware only to find 5 employees loitering around the cash registers with ZERO customers checking out at the time.I recommend finding a different hardware store where customer service is treated as a priority instead of a nuisance!

Farm and Home is one of my favorite places to go. They have almost everything I need at great prices. From pool shock to hospital scrubs, and everything in between.
