What an awesome experience. Ive been frustrated with other places to the point of never picking out glasses after the exam. This was great. They even guided me with lense selection which took a fraction of the time compared to looking on my own. Great team...thanks Paige and Dr. Hendricks.

My husband has been a customer of All About Eyes for a long time now. I just recently started going there. The ladies at the Springfield location are GREAT!!! They’re fun, professional, & really know how to make you feel welcomed. For years I’ve always just gone wherever I can get a good deal (because let’s face it, glasses are expensive!), but sometimes with cheap glasses you also get cheap service & product. Not only does All About Eyes have great service, but their glasses are pretty high quality & fashionable at decent prices! Laina & Paige were both awesome & made the whole experience wonderful & easy! Definitely will continue going there!

Very poor customer service. Before arrival I called to confirm my mother and I’s appointment and I was immediately informed that there was not an appointment made under our name (clearly gave no effort in checking.) Shortly I received a text message confirming we did in fact have an appointment at this location. As soon as my mother and I walked in we were not greeted. My mother was obnoxiously asked by the receptionist if she had a mask (before greeting). She forgot to put it on before entering but has no problem with wearing one. She asked very rudely. Before my mother could pull her mask out of her purse the receptionist forcibly suggested giving her a mask not giving her the chance to put her personal mask on. Upon entering we were still not greeted. Rebecca Leinweber asked me how could she help and I told her that my mother and I have an appointment. She seemed surprised for some reason that I told her we had an appointment. I responded “Yes” and she escorted me to the back to fill out paperwork. After completing the paperwork during the time my mother received her exam, I proceeded to walk to the front to lock my mothers car doors. It’s raining so their floors were extremely slippery. When turning around to enter the building I fell very hard on my back and hit my knee as well. Literally no one asked me if I was okay until I made eye contact with them. Extremely hurt and in pain no one showed that they cared. Rebecca Leinweber watched me fall while she sat in her chair and while I was still on the floor she turned around to look at me and turned right back around to her desk. The only person that showed very minimal concern was the only guy that worked (not sure of his name). I’m very disappointed by the customer service we received today. This location needs extreme work on their personable skills.

Went to All about Eyes today because my dog sat on my glasses so the frame was twisted. I was too scared that I would break my frames if I tried to twist them back. CYNDI was great! She was able to twist and with the right amount of pressure bend my frame back to a more comfortable fit. Nice staff very helpful!

It was that time of year again for the family to get their eye exams. With a family of six and five of us needing exams All About Eyes is the place to go. They got us all in on one day with back to back appointments and no need to have us come in on different days like some of the competitors in the area. Our appointments started at 8am and 2 1/2 hours later we were finished. Rebecca had her work cut out helping pick out glasses for two new wearers and three existing wearers. Rebecca really took her time to go over all our options. Dr Hendricks as always was amazing. The other ladies there were helpful and friendly. Thanks again All About Eyes!!!! Morgan helped me from check in to out and was the best throughout the entire process! She was so friendly, informative and kind! I had to learn how to take out and put in contacts for the first time and she sat down with me and taught me the best ways to do this! Very thankful for my experience here and Morgan’s assistance!

I would really like to give them 5 stars, but I had a horrible experience reordering contacts. My order was placed 7/12 through the reminder text message sent from All About Eyes. I requested that the order be shipped to my home and was told it would be 5-7 business days. When the contacts did not arrive after 7 business days, I called the store. The associate was extremely helpful told me there was a minor delay and even provided me with 7 days worth of samples to hold me over. Fast forward another week and the contacts still had not arrived, money had not yet been subtracted from my account, and the tracking number I was issued still did not work. I contacted the customer service number on my receipt, which seemed to be a third party company. (At this point I already had to place another contact order with a different provider and eat the $20 fee for overnight shipping because I desperately needed contacts). The third party company refused to refund my order, even though money had not yet been deducted from my account and the order still had not shipped. Fast forward to today 8/8, the money has been deducted from my account but I still have not received any contacts.....

On 04/16 my husbands glasses broke & our eye place is closed until 05/04. When we called them they suggested another place & here. Called the other place first & they asked if we bought the glasses there. When we said no the person immediately said we wont look at them & hung up. Called All About Eyes next. WOW what a difference. They were very happy to help. Said they would come out to the truck when we pulled up to get his glasses and took them in to find frames that would fit his lenses. Cindi was back out in about 20 minutes with an almost perfect fit. I will be returning here after this Covid 19 pandemic is over to continue with our business there. Thank You so much for all your help even though we didnt get his original glasses with you. With everything going on currently, for a business to step up like this is wonderful & amazing.

Wow, I have been to a lot of vision providers over the years and I am usually not impressed... in fact, I’m usually annoyed by all the up-selling. This place was awesome from start to finish! All the girls up front were nice and friendly, not pushy and annoying. They scheduled me the same day, they listened to me... the Dr also listened to me and she was GREAT! I didn’t have to pay a ridiculous contact lens fitting fee and no hard sells on any upgraded testing. I was in and out with the correct prescription! Unfortunately, the contacts were a little pricey, but that’s pretty much everywhere in town... you have to buy online if you want a deal. No worries, this place gave me a paper script and I was on my way. I don’t recommend eye places, but I’ll recommend this one! I’ll be going back in a few years if they’re still in-network!

Rebecca waited on me and was polite, well dressed and attractive. Rebecca went over my insurance and explained how I could use and save money on my purchase. Rebecca also went over the types of Lens available and what would complement my face. I was very pleased with how fast my glasses were ready.

Great place to go for fast, friendly, service. Morgan had frames picked out before I came out from my exam that were perfect picks. The whole process was quick and easy. My glasses were ready within a few days!

This was my second time getting glasses from All About Eyes, and I was not disappointed. Jessica G. made the shopping experience smooth and fun. She worked with me to ensure I got the best deal which allowed me to buy a second pair of glasses. Their selection is great, and their prices are better than if you purchased directly from the manufacturer. I will add that I have not gotten an exam there. I am set in my ways of visiting a local optometrist for exams, but their prices on glasses are so good, I wouldnt buy anywhere else.

Update: Once I arrived at the store a couple days later to pick up my glasses the staff members were very apologetic, they gave me a discount for my glasses, and informed me that they would look into the situation.————————————————————————Past review: The ophthalmologist is fantastic and my first visit went really well. I called to follow up in regards to my glasses. Ashley picked up the call and left me on hold without even asking for my name or contact information. I spent 55 minutes on hold waiting for an answer that never came. I’m super disappointed and will not return to this location after I pick up my glasses. This whole experience was downright disrespectful, and frankly a waste of my time.

I had such a pleasant experience there with Laina S. She was very prompt in assisting me, knowledgeable about the process from beginning to end, and made me feel confident with my decisions. I would recommend her to anyone. She is the epitome of wonderful customer service and has a niche for hospitality. I had heard good things about this place, so decided to try them. they got me in fast. the eye exam was painless and went quick. the doc was friendly also. they have a great selection of frames, so I was able to find my one...my first pair of trifocals! I went in on a Saturday; glasses were ready on Friday. I would definitely use them again. Great customer service also!

Went to have my eyes checked because of light sensitivity in my left eye. Dr. Francis said it was an infection and prescribed me drops. He said I should feel better by the end of the day. I woke up the following day feeling the same. So I went back and he prescribed me some before bed ointment. I told him I had a trip to Ohio the following day, but was reassured I should start feeling better. Today is my last day in Ohio (its been 6 days now) I have dealt with light sensitivity and my eye hurting the entire time. It has completely ruined my vacation and ability to do anything outdoors with my family. Most days I have stayed inside sleeping and hoping it would get better. I highly recommend seeing anyone else in town if you have an eye issue.

Amazing staff and quick service. I moved and needed a new eye doctor after running out of contacts. Jessica not only helped me before I became a patient, but was incredibly helpful picking out my glasses. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring. My appointment was only two days ago and my glasses are already in. They are highly recommended.

I have been working with All About Eyes for over 10 years. I first started with All About Eyes in Bloomington, Ill and was very happy when they opened their store here in Springfield.

I called All About Eyes on Friday, May 8th, 2020 and set a new patient appointment for Tuesday the 12th at 11:40am. I arrived early and they were happy to get me in and started. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Not one employee hesitated to stop and answer any questions I had. Once in with the optometrist, the appointment was very professional and efficient. She was very helpful in explaining each test, why it was needed, what she was looking for and then what she found out. Once completed, the staff did not try to upsell me with options I did not need. In fact, since I was paying out of pocket, they mentioned their discontinued frames rack in case I needed to watch what I was spending.Overall, I gladly rate All About Eyes with 5 stars. Excellent from start to finish.

All About Eyes is phenomenal! The first day I went to All About Eyes, it was a day I was going around to browse for frames one week before I knew I was going to get my prescription and need to buy some. I learned about All About Eyes from an amazing deal on a coupon I got in my mail. When I got there to browse, an employee immediately approached me to introduce herself and ask if I needed help for what I was there for. Even though I did not need help browsing, she still let me know what my insurance would do for me with them to come back in mind with next week. That was wonderful for her to inform a customer about. I found the majority of frames I liked at All About Eyes versus other locations I browsed at beforehand. Once I browsed at All About Eyes, I knew I was done with the need to browse at more locations. So I came back the next week with my prescription and another employee, Jessica, immediately approached me as well to introduce herself, inform me about what my insurance would do for me with them and was there to assist me once I was ready. Jessica did a marvelous job explaining everything about frame lens options. She was more than willing to repeat some information when asked with understanding it was a lot of information that we went over. She also ran the coupon option versus insurance option to make sure she used which option gave me the best deal on everything. She went over the receipt of how everything was deducted with insurance and how it all added up. All About Eyes and all their employees are fantastic at what provide for everyone.

Dr. Francis is personable and knowledgeable. Jessica was very helpful in helping us find an affordable and attractive pair of glasses. She is patient with questions and we felt she truly wanted to be helpful. I and my daughter have both had good experiences at the Springfield store and will be going back next time we need eye wear.

I hadnt been to the eye doctor in far too long but finally bit the bullet and made an appointment at All About Eyes. I was greeted by Rachel. She was wonderful and took great care of my initial eye exams. Dr. Francis was prompt, kind and efficient and had my exam finished in less than 15 minutes. From there, Rachel helped me out A TON in finding the right type/style of glasses for my face, my comfort level and my wallet. She was cheerful, funny and made me feel right at home. There is never a problem with Insurance, Dr. Francis takes the time to talk to you and explain everything that is happening with your vision, and the front office staff is AMAZING. Walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee. Told Angie what I wanted in a new pair of glasses. The very first frame she showed me was perfect in style, fit and color. We sat down to discuss lens options, insurance, warranty and pricing. She was knowledgeable and thorough. Within minutes I left the store totally satisfied with my order for new glasses.

Great experience! The doctor took his time and did a very thorough job on the exam to make sure that I was getting the correct prescription. The rest of the staff was just as great, really enjoyed my visit and felt like they really wanted to do a good job and not just get me out as quick as they could.

I just have to say Rachel and Jeremy were amazing! I was in the store Saturday with my daughter and she can be difficult she had to get her very first pair of glasses Rachel was so patient and understanding helping my daughter pick what was right for her! I then gave the wrong insurance information and had to go back to the store Monday to fix everything and Jeremy and Rachel were so understanding and didnt make me feel bad about the extra work I caused them! My appointment was right on time... no waiting. The entire staff was helpful; managing my insurance, assisting with new glasses, even coffee! I spent less time and less money than when visiting other local eye care businesses. They earned my repeat business and my referrals.

I went in for an eye exam for contacts and glasses. I got there about half an hour before my appointment. They ended up getting me in 15 minutes early which is awesome. The exam was very quick and easy. The staff was very helpful in helping me decide on a pair of glasses. They also did a very good job explaining all of the billing information and what my insurance would cover. They gave me a pair of temporary contacts to wear until my glasses and contacts come in and sent me on my way. Youve gotta love the free contact solution and case as well. First time going to All About Eyes. Had not had an eye exam in 2 years so just wanted to have a health check up for my eyes. Was greeted promptly & professionally. The eye doctor was very receptive to discussing my eye health and things I can do to take care of my aging eyes. Cost of the exam was very reasonable. After the exam I had some questions about frames and prescription lenses they sell. Rachael answered all my questions with no sales pressure. I will continue using All About Eyes.

I had a wonderful experience at the location in Springfield. I was able to get a same day appointment when most other eye centers were booked until February and the staff was extremely friendly. The doctor seemed to really pay attention during my exam and even double checked my responses to make sure my prescription was going to be as accurate as possible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Choosing a new frame always gives me a bit of anxiety, Angela was more than helpful. Helping me whittle it down from a dozen or so frames to my BOGO choices. The doctor was friendly and helpful. Answered my questions thoroughly. I made an appointment for my son to get contacts and they got him in quickly and were extremely patient with him as he poked himself in the eyes for over an hour. 2 days later it only took 10 minutes for him this morning! Their kindness, helping him, helps him have patience with himself as he learns how to use his new contacts.

Great service & nice selection of frames. I didnt get the eye exam there but used my prescription from another location. Jessica G was very helpful and advised what add ons would be best without making it too expensive. Happy with my Ray Ban sunglasses.

Wonderful experience here when our daughter recently transitioned to contacts. Everyone was so patient with her, especially Rachel. She sat down and explained everything to her and didnt let her give up on getting them in and out. Both optometrists (at the initial eye appt and the follow up) listened to our concerns and did not rush us at our appointment. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place! I called due to getting off work earlier than expected around 12:00 and they got me in at 12:30 without any hesitation! I always feel welcome and they make sure all my questions are answered before I leave. They are quick but don’t make you feel rushed whatsoever. I was even stuck on which pair of glasses to choose from and one of the employees, Jeremy, told me to put them both on and helped me decide which ones looked the best. I’ll recommend this place to everyone! So happy to have found an eye doctor/staff that are so awesome!

This store is awesome. No high pressure sales, staff (especially Angie) were professional and were genuine in trying to help. They were knowledgeable of insurance coverages, and explained options clearly. I’ll go back again!
