Actual name: Myran Presley.But this place is amazing, clean, organized and they stay updated on Covid-19 safety measures (not that I personally care, but for those who do).On the phone, the lady I spoke to was very outstanding and amazing! And she was professional, and answered and asked many questions I was looking for!I had an appointment setup immediately, where others as like idk, Wal-Mart, per say, who first off wanted to start me at minimum of $140 and that was a real low budget plastic frame, not the best lenses, and base rate for the eye exam included......(And Im talking no insurance for vision)Stanton not only gave me the best service! They were very quick, patient, very sweet, helpful in all ways! And had me an appointment, the following day, the frames were not plastic, lenses were not plastic, and their base is 59.99 with the exam included! $$$59.99$$$ I WAS LIKE D*MN! LOLthey also helped keep me on the path I wanted and chose, didnt try to sell me! Didnt try to buy me! They earned my trust and further business with them any day!They also had kid frames and a nice experience in their store! 1000% out of 100% in my opinion!My glasses also arrived (BTW: 2 PAIRS) in less than 7 business days! They have been wonderful and I highly suggest them!Also when normally Im charged an extra fee/price for glass cases and lense wipes and lens cleaning utensils and spray, they gave me a set free at hand for just simply giving them a positive review!I dont think this place deserves anything under 5 stars! Was the best experience I have had getting glasses in Springfield! The doctor was thorough and Nichole was awesome! I am not good at picking out the right frames and she helped me so much by answering my questions truthfully! Such a pleasant experience!

I went in last week to get my lenses replaced for my regular glasses and sunglasses. I brought my own frames. I left with new lenses in my regular glasses after an hour of so, but the lenses for the sunglasses had to be ordered. Yesterday, July 5th, I went canoeing and the canoe flipped leaving my sunglasses on the bottom of the river.I went back to Stanton today to figure out what to do now that I no longer have the frames the lenses was ordered for. Lindsey fixed it without any issues. She helped me pick out new frames and ordered a new pair of lenses for the frames free of charge. I left a very happy customer. Excellent service.

Valerie was amazing when taking care of us today. She was super friendly, funny and extremely patient when dealing with me and my three teens. Definitely would come back!

My second experience here. :) The first time there were a couple of issues but those were resolved quickly and kindly. The second experience, just yesterday 7/13/21, was the best. I had my exam, picked out some new frames, checked out and both pairs were finished, with my prescription, within 30 mins of checking out! So nice to walk out with fresh glasses the same day!

I havent received my glasses yet, but I wanted to go ahead and leave a review. From the exam to purchasing my glasses it was probably the best experience Ive had in my 30+ years of wearing glasses. Everyone was so upbeat and pleasant. I especially wanted to give an extra kudos to the person who helped me, Austin. He was helpful efficient, and very friendly.

This was my first experience with Stanton Optical. I was extremely impressed with the customer service that I received. My sales associate Valerie was extremely helpful with my selection of frames and helped guide me through the best solution for my lenses. I will definitely be coming back here and I highly recommend Stanton Optical and Mrs Valerie for your optical needs.

If I could give no stars I would. I took my daughter in to the Springfield store last month and they completed her eye exam for contacts and glasses. They didnt mention until the exam was over and I had paid for it that they couldnt approve her contact prescription until the doctor returned to the store in two weeks...ok so I wait two weeks and go back, still no doctor and they say two more weeks. Now it has been a month, I called today and guess how long before the doctor returns, yep. TWO WEEKS! Just give me my money back so I can go somewhere else and actually get what I paid for. This place will never get my business again. I feel like its a scam.

Do not go there they stole $45 from me on an eye exam.

This would have been 5 stars if not for what just happened...We went in 3 weeks ago, had an exam and bought two pairs of glasses for my 9 year old twins. Valerie helped us and did an amazing job. We were able to get one of the twins pair within minutes, and were told the others would be 10 days, they had to be sent off.Fast forward to today, my son and I walked In and there was no one in the store. We were greeted very quickly and hurriedly by a man with blonde hair (I couldnt even catch his name with how quickly he pushed us out). I asked Him how the glasses looked on my son for sizing and he replied “they look fine to me” from across the desk. I asked if they should be bent in on the back like my other sons, and he said “maybe another time later on”. Literally handed me the case and was already moved onto the lady that walked in behind us. We weren’t even in our car and the lady came out and asked if we felt like we were being rushed, he did the same thing to her.Maybe he was having an off day, but we spent over $400 on the glasses, and I wanted to make sure that they fit my son.It left a bad taste in my mouth for the business, and if it weren’t for having the warranty that we purchased, we will not be coming back for more glasses.Again, Valerie was amazing and the experience was wonderful with her, but this gentleman either needs a new job, not in customer service, or to know how customers feel.

The patient coordinator, Marina, was extremely helpful in all my needs and questions. I had difficulty understanding the process of how my appointment was going to go, but Marina was able to explain everything thoroughly. Everything else went smoothly throughout my visit.

I visited Stanton today to browse for some new glasses and had a great experience due to the sales manager Nichole. She was very knowledgeable and kind throughput the entire experience and let me know what all of my options are. I will never get glasses anywhere else but from stanton and from the help of Nichole she is the absolute best. Thanks for the great experience!!!

I have shopped many optical stores in town for my sister and this place won our business for sure! They have the best selection of frames. They beat every quote we had received from other stores. The associates even helped us pick out the frames...how sweet! The place was very clean and everyone was so nice and listened to my sisters needs and what she wanted. I think the best part was being able to get her glasses in an hour. She had broken glasses and was concerned about working. This place took all of the weight off of her shoulders and we couldnt be more thankful. Thank you so much Stanton! Side note: we are a year into a pandemic. Quick and painful way of getting my eyes checked and glasses picked out. I worked with 2 different sales people, the first guy didnt really seem to know what he was doing, but the other girl said he was new and still training, so she was showing him a few things and helping him as we went through. Its a very busy little store, they were very busy the short time I was in. All very professional though and saw a lot of customers very quickly.

My name is actually Shawna Shope. Im on my husbands account because, in addition to breaking my glasses yesterday, I also ended up with a dead phone. Anyways I went in today to get my glasses repaired and needed to order new frames. Unfortunately my frames arent being sold anymore so I had to pick new ones. When it came time to pay the difference after the warranty coverage, Lindsay was kind enough to waive the 5 dollar fee due to the fact that my frames are out of stock. I love this place, they are always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Stanton Optical!

My wife is disabled, requires a wheelchair, and is unable to transfer unassisted. I am a 72 year old disabled Vet who is recovering from a heart attack. I am unable to assist her with transfers at present.We had an appointment to get her an exam for glasses. Upon arrival we were told, by the staff, they could not accommodate persons in wheelchairs.My wife has been disabled for 18 years and has had a number of eye exams and this is the first time we have been told, by any store, they cannot accommodate wheelchair users.Stanton is fairly new to town and we wanted to give them a try. Very disappointed on several levels.Being older and disabled comes with sufficient challenges without having further unnecessary obstacles placed in our path.

My experience with this company has been horrible. Bottom line, they have gotten my script wrong twice. When I told them 2nd time she wouldnt take them and I wanted a refund, they lied and said they couldnt because insurance had already been file. When I contacted ins. co. They informed my that I had 90 days to get a refund from the company and the insurance provider. Buyer Beware!

They were able to get me in within a reasonable time for an appt. The doctor was nice and thorough. They had a great selection of frames to choose from and they had a lot of the style I was looking for and the prices were within my budget. I was able to get a back up pair of glasses along with sunglasses as well and I didnt have to compromise the look I wanted to stay within my budget. I am very satisfied with their service and selection. This is the first time Ive been able to get what I wanted in the price range that I needed.

I drove 2hrs just to be told theyre not taking anyone because the doctor wasnt in. I got texts and emails reminding me of my appointment. Luckily americas best got me in.

The BEST eye exam experience in Springfield. Not only was the ophthalmologist able to provide education for my eyes but took time out to explain the importance of eye care. The staff was very polite and took out time to help find the frames perfect for me. Also, I had my eye exam and my new frames within 1.5 hrs. A very clean, fast and friendly environment. Would recommend to anyone needing an exam and frames!

The young lady that waited on me (I think her name was Elizabeth) was the greatest. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses. It took a long time to get them. I received one and then received the other pair a couple of weeks later. I was told to come back and get my eyes dilated. I tried doing this several times and each time told their doctor was in the hospital. Im having a hard time seeing with the two new pair I received. Makes me very light headed. All in all it was just a very bizarre experience.

Kind & trustworthy. Didnt try to rip you off by pushing you to buy their frames. I bought one pair & brought in my RayBans frames for the second pair & they still gave me the promo deal of buy 2pairs for $59.00. The eye exam was really free. Everything they promised they stood behind their word. That you dont see much or at all today in the eyeglass business. Thanks Stanton would recommend again & again!

First lady I met was great ...went 2 days later to place a second order to get replacement lenses for my sunglasses ...they said at most 2 week wait ..well it took 3 weeks with no update until I went in to check ..even called customer service to get feed back and they said they would contact manager ...well upon pick up of my sunglasses the woman seem very irritated to help me ..she handed me my sunglasses and they were stretched out bad to the point of them falling ...at this point I had tried them on with a mask so couldnt get a good fit and when I got to my car I tried them on without the mask and they wouldnt even stay on my face ..took them back to her and said hi yes they are falling off...she then with attitude said well they do have to stretch them in order to pop out the lenses (while she was walking away from me giving me her back) so Ill try....she came back and I responded this isnt the first Ive had my lenses replaced for these sunglasses and never had this issue ...her response was oh ok ...she didnt seem like she wanted to help ...never will I go back to this place ..took way too long and they messed up my sunglasses ..they still are too over stretched and fall ..will be contacting customer service in the AM...

My Husband and I were frustrated with having to spend so much time and money at the doctors office for exams. My daughter and I had experienced limited selection when shopping for her glasses before. She had found something she liked but not loved. With her in high school, I wanted her to LOVE her eyewear!I spoke with Lindsay and she mentioned the selection and prices at Stanton so we checked it out. I hadnt had an eye exam in years and found out that I too would need to wear glasses all the time. Because Id never worn them I was grateful that the doctor took the time to answer my questions and help my understand me vision.I was so grateful to have so much to choose from not only for my daughter but then also for me. Just left. Quite possibly the worst experience Ive ever had at an eye doctor. The doctor was very rude, condescending and honestly a complete jerk. Ive had contacts for about 3 years. He gave me some new contacts which were completely blurry, but said its normal and my eyes would adjust. I took them out and left. Dont go here. They are awful.

This is one of the worst experiences I have had. The eye dr was sleepy and didnt do my e,am correctly so my glasses were the wrong prescription. I went back in to explain I couldnt see through the glasses after trying to adjust to them. Everything was very blurry like having oil in my eyes.The staff was snotty and acted like I didnt know what I was talking about. The dr re-examined my eyes and found a difference in the script. Surprise surprise. Now it has been going on 2 weeks and still no replacement glasses. I will NEVER use Stanton optical again and telling everyone I know to go elsewhere.

I wont ever go back, eye exam was great.But when I went back to pick up my contacts for like the 3rd time, because they kept getting it wrong, they still didnt have the right ones. I asked about a refund and I guess thats frowned upon. Alot of money wasted. And I have had my glasses for maybe a year and they are broken already, scheduling another eye exam elsewhere. I will never ever waste my time again with this place.

I visited Stanton Optical for the first time and had a great experience. Everyone I spoke with was very kind and professional. I recently lost my job (and insurance) due to downsizing because of the pandemic. The optician who helped me showed me some great, affordable options and treated me with the utmost dignity. My eye exam was completed very quickly and I had concerns before actually getting my glasses with progressive lenses. Once I put them on, all of the concern went out the window. My prescription is perfect and the frames are great quality. I used to take my progressive glasses off to read because I couldn’t see well. Now I am typing this on my phone with my new glasses on my face and I am so happy! Thanks for a great experience!

Worst experience. After two months, two eye exams, glasses still were not right. Their canned response was to give it more time. They wanted to send me for another (third) exam at another optometrist....and why would I do that? I asked for a refund. Was told it would take 6 to 8 months for copays to be reversed...that is too long.

Horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible experience. Waited 9 months to get a trial pair of contacts. When they were ordered two left eye contact lens came in. Once this was discovered they reordered them and they kept reordering the incorrect lens. This happened not once, not twice, not three times but 5 times and here is the kicker to it. When they finally arrived the prescription is wrong. The frames for the glasses are shotty they are falling apart. When I tried to get in contact with the store by phone you are sent to a call center and when you finally make it to the store and speak with someone I was told several times that I would receive a call back and never did. So I guess its true you get what you pay for. The price is low for a reason. So if you have money to throw away I suggest you go to Stanton because you will end up having to go to another place to get it done right.

I went in and got both an eye exam and two pairs of glasses for a great price. Everyone working was extremely friendly and helpful. The best had to be Lindsey. She went out of her way to help with everything including helping me pick out glasses, adjusting them, and also helping me get in for another eye exam after it felt like my prescription had changed. I still go in to get my glasses adjusted and she is always so nice and helpful! 10/10 recommend Stanton to anyone for great service, cute glasses, and great prices.

I was very impressed with my visit today. The staff was so nice and helpful with greeting me when I arrived, to the very East checking, to the doctor doing the exam. The doctor took his time and explained, everything to me about my prescription. Liv who helped me with my eyeglass prescription was great in helping me find the pair of frames, explain all the options and was supportive of my price range. I can’t wait to go back again .

Made appointment 4 days prior, arrived on time greeted when I entered was told it would be a few moments by lady helping another customer. Few moments later another women walk in the lady who said she would be with me shortly ask the lady that walked in if she could help and started assisting her . I waited over 20 minutes a guy that works there starts to adjust the frames on shelves, I spoke up and said I had an appointment for eye examime over 20 minutes ago he took my name and said Ill be right back ....10 minutes later he came back and said theres is a few people ahead of me and it would be a long wait . I explained I could not wait and made another appointment for the next day . Once I got home thought about it I decided NOT to go back I already had to leave work early for the one appointment and felt like it wasnt worth the time . Also read reveiws from others and did not care for the negative comments about the eye exams felt like they are pushing frames and glasses not eye care...

My wife bought 2 pairs of glasses in February 2020. Right away she started having problems with the prescription. It wasnt done right. Then when it was fixed, the lenses started falling out. We have been back and forth to their business 4 times to get these problems fixed. On the last visit, their manager Lindsey told us they would upgrade to poly lenses to fix the problem,They or she would refund our money if it doesnt work. It did, but after receiving the glasses, the first time she wore them the lenses fell out.We contacted Lindsey and told her and she said it was because her prescription was too large. Needed to use different frames. We told her we didnt want to deal with their company any more. We asked for her to refund our money as promised, but she refused and said it was over a yr. So warranty has expired.Very unhelpful, and kept interrupting me during phone call.

The customer service is a complete joke. I waited over an hour and half to check out when I went. I need to order contacts but they only wrote the prescription for their brand so I can’t get dailies. I can’t get anyone who speaks English to help me when asking if I can get my prescription changed. I am known for my reviews and have over 30k followers on Instagram and based off the way I’m treated I will be posting my review there as well. I sat on the phone for several minutes to get transferred to multiple people. This place is a joke and I will NEVER use them again. I suggest looking into another optical place for your exams if you can. Also, I was self pay so it wasn’t like it was a cheap exam and order. Completely disappointed.

Tried 4 times to get my glasses right, when I asked for my money back they wanted to give me half and try again. I demanded my money back. Manager was very condisending in front of other people in the store when someone else came in with the same problem, I said that sounds familiar, she was very condisending.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Eye exam was quick and easy. Definitely recommend!

Lied to about them being in my network, they weren’t. Gave me the wrong contacts even though I checked the box in three places for Biofinity. Had my trial pair waiting for almost two weeks and never contacted me to pick them up. Locked up my benefits when they authorized them to be used for contacts even though I paid for just a contact fitting, making my benefits unable to be used anywhere else. The manager and “benefits guy who handles this escalation” have yet to contact me back and I keep having to call. This...place...is...garbagio. Will never ever recommended or go back ever. EAD.

I am so grateful I walked into Stanton Optical today!! I had never been to a store before that had staff that truly care about their customers. Lindsey was absolutely amazing and made the entire experience enjoyable. I would recommend others seeking optical services to Stanton Optical. As a graduate student, they were able to provide me with affordable glasses with quality service. I plan on returning to them the next time I need glasses!!

Chris gave us exceptional customer service today! He was working alone fitting eyeglasses at a busy time and still provided patience. Thank you, Chris for being professional!

I am so happy that I went to have my eyes checked. Stanton are professionals. I knew that my current glasses have not been correct since I got them. And sure enough they were way off. My progreeive on my lens was way way too low. Allowing no reading.so I can’t wait to get my new glasses. Thanks Stanton

Do not use Stanton Optical! The advertising they do for glasses is a joke. My husband and I went in for an eye exam and prescription glasses, we came out paying just over $900. They say the eye exam is free with your purchase of prescription glasses - our paperwork showed regular price eye exam is $95, but they only take off $45 with the prescription. The frames I chose were $85 and then I get a pair free. However, the lenses were $280, and then theres a 2 year warranty- 50 bucks a pop. So needless to say, our price came out to over $400 each, $900 and something total!Then, not even 5 days later, we decided we really couldnt afford to get the glasses, so we went back for a refund. However, what they dont tell you is that you can only get a full refund - minus the regular price of the eye exam ($95) within 24 hours. So we only received half of our money back. Should have received around 700 - got back $450.It sucks not to be well- informed! Guess its our own fault for not asking...

Doctor was rude, gave me a completely wrong prescription and went back for the second time just for them to not work out. Went to Walmart on Campbell instead and they always have gotten my prescription right.

My husband and I went to Stanton optical and had great eye exams. The people were kind and professional. Linsey was very helpful and helped us resolve all of our circumstances. Thanks Stanton for taking care of us!

I feel that everyone should contribute in reviews.Not just to praise or complain, but to inform the business that they are supporting.So if there are issues that they can come up with solution to improve .I was somewhat disappointed trying to contact this store that I had just spent money in.I let them know my issue, and was assured by staff anyone that need to know had been notified, and was working for a solution.Thank you for the fast response. Completely incompetent.I called at 9 a.m. and scheduled appointment for 2:05p.m. same day, arrived 20 minutes early, walked in and the staff said that they had no Doctors, both Doctors had called in... They had no idea what was going on, didnt phone me to tell me the Doctors werent going to be there, etc. Youd think the staff would know at 9a.m. the Doctor wouldnt be there or atleast call me when they knew so I wouldnt waste my time driving to the appointment. Ill be going somewhere else.

I highly recommend them to anyone, and Valerie made the entire experience better, I had lost my glasses and my vision is horrible! She made sure I got my glasses that day instead of having to wait over a week for them, she is a God send

Nichole was very knowledgeable about the eyeglass lens options for my prescription.I am really enjoying having a pair of thin, lightweight, no-line bifocal glasses that darken in the sun.The deal I got was so competitive that I opted to have my beloved fishing sunglasses changed to prescription while I was there.

Picked up my glasses today, so happy about them. They look great! I have paid a lot more at other places and did not get as much for my money. Plus all the people who helped me was really friendly. This is my new optical shop.

Lindsay took such good care of my family geting glasses! Lindsay was knowledge, offering us choices that fit our budget! We were referred by our neighbor and will be going back in the future! Super employees!
