Stopped in to wait on a truck. Spent 18 hours safely and without any hassle from loitering individuals, such as myself. Ha! Actually I dont think I saw any vagrants or the like. Clean, nice selection of food and services, showers, weigh station, restaurant to the side of the convenience store. Great, safe place to recharge.

Friendly staff but they try to charge full price for breakfast sandwiches that are supposed to have egg but dont. They claim they cant get eggs but restaurant in same building has eggs so I call bs.

Place is only good for parking and bathroom duties. 3 guys cant understand when someone is using the Cat scale app not to touch the cat scale inside. I park my truck their on my time off. I WILL NEVER SPEND A PENNY IN THEIR AGAIN.

Gas station restrooms are less than desirable the last few times I have been here. Clientele not flushing toilet and trash receptacles are pulled off stall walls. This used to be a well taken care of gas station.

Best breakfast in town everything is fresh food service is 100 friendly atmosphere for a nice breakfast or lunch & dinner.

We stopped here and ate. Staff was friendly and quick. We got the homemade Lasagne very good big portions. We could have split 1 berween us. The salad was lacking though. 1 slice of tomatoe and 2 cucumber with a huge bowl of lettuce.

Hubby & I stopped in for some Subway & was told it was closed til next Saturday due to no help & the person who works Saturdays called off today. It says OPEN from 9am-9pm but is usually closed before 6pm, if OPEN at all. 👎👎

Not travel trailer friendly. multiple barriers in parking lot making it quite challenging to make it to the fuel pumps.

Not a bad place to find. It has some parking in the main lot, about 30 spaces I guess but there is an additional lot just behind it that would accommodate quite a few trucks. The place is a mom and pop type which is a nice change from the main chain truck-stops. There is a route 66(?) diner there with a Subway. I ate at the subway which was pretty well standard which is not really a bad thing. There restrooms were fairly clean and the over all of the place was fairly clean. Its not a bad place to stop at.10/9/19 I stopped again and are at the diner. I ordered NY strip medium with eggs over easy American fries and toast. The steak was closer to medium well as it had no pink in it. The eggs were over medium instead of over easy. The toast, will I guess it was good for that kind of toast but it was way too dark for my liking. Prolly wont eat at that diner again.

Wow!!! Fabulous restaurant!!! Not often one finds such a place anymore with truck stops turning into glorified gas stations with fast food. I was there at noon and it was busy. But waitresses were hopping and service was great. Cooks were also moving with the fast pace. Beef tips were excellent. Well done everyone 👍

Im not sure what has happend to this place in the last couple months but it has gone way down hill . Hot foods are barely available and new staff is sub par . No plans to return

Awesome truckstop, decent parking, free CLEAN showers for drivers and good restaurant attached to building! Friendly people!

The bathrooms were clean and warm. The travel section/ gas station was pretty clean overall. It is dated and the exterior could certainly use some cleaning. But this facility met our needs of refueling and bathrooms.

1.90 for a 20oz refill coffee and the restroom is very dirty but there is good news... Skip Road Ranger and go to the restaurant next door, Cafe 66 has great food and great service.

I stopped there for fuel and food. Both cashier and store manager went beyond expectation for a driver. Awesome atmosphere and friendly service. Great job and sweet service.

I stopped in for some drinks for the road. Grabbed from their 2/$3 display, but when I looked at my recipient I was charged $1.99 each. When I showed the both the clerks on duty the sign one of them took it down but said they would be unable to refund me for the difference because a general manager was required for all refunds. This is the dumbest policy Ive ever heard. If you are running a register and able to take money, you should always have someone on duty that is able to refund money. I told them I didnt even want the drinks at all at this point. I ended up getting in contact with the general manager the next day, but I had to go out of my way to come back, and the refund I was issued wasnt even the full amount that I paid. They didnt refund the tax, just the amount of the items. If I had been on a road trip and never been able to come back, I would have just been overcharged and couldnt do anything about it. This is terrible policy and I likely wont buy anything inside this place again. Its covenant for gas, but after this Im not going inside unless absolutely necessary.

Who runs a 24hr fuel stop and closes the subway before dark ?Probably better off anyway, fealt cluttered and dirty in the store.

The floor is dirty and itbis not attractive and it is dirty. The only thing which makes this place very interesting is the restaurant attached .hopefully, after a good food you will forget the dirty and negative side .Now I think it is more road rangers than pilot so need to have road rangers design now which is always superb and very attractive .

Very new and nice with mostly food, drink, and fuel. Is kind of small building for a new store and parking is like average Loves.

This is not a normal truck stop restaurant, the service was spectacular and the place has a clean and friendly grandmas home kind of feel, I got the liver and onions with a side of soup and green beans and out of the 32 states Ive had liver in, this was by far the best in both portion size and pure quality, this restaurant and its workers would shame most 5 star places so dont ever assume anything when it comes to food because the least expected places can be the best, thanks for a great meal and a pleasurable time Ill never forget this place anytime Im in the area again this 10$ meal would have worth the price if it were 30$ utterly impressed #eatgreatexit108

Dirty place, lots of cockroach, moskitos and insects in the parking. Watch the lights and you will see what Im talking about.Open the doors of the car one minute and you will have a new family with you for the whole week.Better to go to Loves just 15km north.

Why are your gas pumps sooooooo slowwwwwww? It takes for ever to fill up here. The prices are usually higher than the stations just to the west on Sangamon, too.

This is a good stop off for truck drivers. There is usually plenty of parking and the restaurant has really good food at moderate prices

Good Road Ranger/Pilot. The WiFi is cheaper at Road Rangers than Pilot, which is a plus.The restaurant is awesome. Good food, fast.

No buns for the hot dogs. Subway closed at 9pm. 1 piece of pizza that looked like cardboard. Told to go to the diner. Checked the menu and almost everything is 10 dollars. Went in, in the morning and Subway is still closed, dont open till 8am. Breakfast pizza, again cardboard. Forget the diner, not at those prices. And they stopped carrying V8. Ill try to avoid this place from now on.

Was stranded there over night the night manger or women in charge at night was very understanding and kind didt treat you like you were loser just because you were down on your luck never been in this situation before but a couple places along the way were very rude this place very understanding and polite

Restaurant is awesome, and open 24 7. Staff in the store always willing to help you with any concern about the store you may have.

This store is so raggedy and disgusting. It needs to be shut down! They hardly have any product. Showers are disfunctional. The building itself is falling apart. It was so bad I asked the cashier if I was at Flying J. He said its privately owned.

Got stuck here for the weekend, dont be fooled by the look, inside the showers are clean, the staff friendly and the food is good, will definitely save it as one of my favorites.

This place for me is a fuel and go only. Every time I have stopped here there has been someone who has either just run out of fuel and needs a few dollars to get somewhere or needs a ride. I run into beggars at other stops but not nearly as much as this one.

Some of the pumps dont have DEF, some pumps are not working or just one house is working, another pump is fueling only up to 50 gallons. Horrible gas station, never ever fuel in here again.

Was not impressed, some of the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Restrooms dirty and staff not friendly. Had to throw the coffee out was not drinkable.

The lady at the checkout was very rude and obviously too busy talking to coworkers to care about her presentation to the customers, cashiers name was Marissa H. Thank you hopefully Road Ranger hires more professional employees.

The gas pump are so slow that i run late . Today i got 1.00 of gas and it took about 20 mins. this is not the first time this has happed . thank god i dont let my gas tank get to low.

This Road Ranger / Pilot has a dirt overflow lot that is half empty at 19:45 on a Friday. Look for sign that says “Additional Semi Parking”.

The best truck stop food around

Gas often a bit cheaper here and it is just off the highway. A bit more difficult to access when headed into Springfield on Il-54. Noted that the first gas pump I tried to use wouldnt respond, so I had to pull up to the next pump. The lot can get pretty busy with people headed to the restaurant.

Its a place to get gas and junk food. What more to say.

Just left the road ranger asked about a Military Discount and the Cashier Andrew B. got an attitude and stated that Military do not deserve discounts. Will not be going back there again
