Weve had such a good experience right from the start - getting an estimate, placing our order and scheduling delivery, everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. But after our installation today, I have to say Ive been thoroughly impressed. I rent and I have a great landlord that keeps the place up and when the spring broke on my door they called Brookline. A gentleman Lee came out first and replaced the springs and one seal on the side and when he wasnt satisfied with the bottom seal and the other side seal (wich he didnt have in the truck that day) they came back a couple days later and finished. Agustin was the second technician to come out and had the seals put on and adjusted the down force of the door. Now it opens and closes perfectly and no more rain coming in. Both technicians we very professional and courteous and I would not hesitate to use them on my own. Keep up the great work and customer service. Cheers!

I’d never experienced any issues with a garage door so when our double springs snapped I was referred to Brookline doorworks. I called them and the man I spoke to to schedule was so kind! He let me know they were super busy so it would be about a week before he could get to me. So we scheduled and the following day he called saying he actually had time to get me in if I was available. So they sent someone out at a time that worked with my schedule, came while I was actually working, made sure it was fixed and that I understood the cause. Thank you guys SO much. You have some forever customers with our family and we will always recommend you guys in the future!

I called about a broken spring on my garage door, and they were able to fit my repair in that same afternoon. I appreciated their quick and friendly service and reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone!

Garage door went out Sunday, called first thing Monday and told them a time frame for it to be fixed and that I NEEDED it done on Tuesday. They worked with my schedule to get it repaired. The price was also cheaper than I expected, even cheaper than their competitors coupons they had listed on their website. Would recommend to anyone!

Quick, Thorough & Affordable.Our garage door was not going up all the way. We called and were surprised that someone could come out to check it out within just a few hours. Lee was very professional and quick...and even took care of a couple of other issues that we didnt know existed. He left and we were so impressed with how smoothly the door opened and closed and didnt sound like metal grinding and rattling. We let the kids open and close it a couple of times...and a puff of smoke came out of the main unit (a blown transformer). So...we called again. AGAIN - someone was out to check on the system within minutes. We learned that we just overdid it with the opening and closing. All of this to say - we were thoroughly impressed with our entire experience with Brookline Doorworks. While we hope we dont need them again - we know who well call if (more like when) the time comes.

I called on Tuesday morning asking for help with a garage door spring that had broken over the weekend. I gave my info, name address, and phone number, was told I would be called back that day, or the next at the latest. I never got a call back by noon on Wednesday, So, when I called the same phone number by looking up my recents, and hitting redial, they put me on hold twice, then said they could not find me in the system, that perhaps I had called another company the day before, and that they had no time to help me. I have been trapped in my house for over 48 hours now, not able to get my garage door open. I would definitely NOT recommend them!

These guys are Great! Kind, courteous and Punctual! I spoke to Shane over the phone and he was very friendly and a pleasure to speak with. He was able to get me scheduled with Eddie that same day. Eddie was right on time and fixed my garage door with no problems at all! I would recommend Brookline to everyone!

Our insurance replaced our garage door due to some hail damage so we shopped around a for a bit to see what the various prices would be. At first I was a little put off by brookline because the receptionist (or whoever answers the phone) wouldnt offer to send someone out but would only give me a quote over the phone (but I dont know the specifics about garage doors).We called one of their major competitors and they immediately came out and had this excellent customer experience but the prices were outrageous. I got back in touch with brookline and they did send someone out. They offered comparable products and although the sales experience wasnt as refined, the product and prices were much more acceptable. Once our order was completed and they came out to install, the installation was easy, the installer was awesome, and they even tuned up our existing garage door opener. It is so quiet now! We have been so happy with our garage door and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

UPDATED BELOW...Brookline Doorworks was probably the most unprofessional door company Ive attempted to do business with. We were in there 6-12-2018 after 1 oclock. The first concern of the employ was how much money I thought a door would cost, or, in this case 2 doors. (Sounded like a set-up from a used car salesman). We got a price for one set with promise of a quote via email that afternoon or first thing in the morning.Never got the email on the Carriage House doors we liked. Yes, checked spam, and yes, gave him the correct email.We were willing to spend the monies for the doors we liked. Just not from Brookline Doorworks after this experience.The last scene was the last straw. As soon as we leave, within 5 minutes I get a call, answer the phone, then the person hangs up when I answer. So I call back: the person says Hello? and I state I missed a call from the number, and the person on the other end plays like hes clueless, doesnt know what Im talking about, and says his name is Michael. My wife looks up that number right after this, and, well, it was Brookline Doorworks. Funny how he answered the phone with a Hello? isnt it? And hung up on me? And played coy when I called the number?Unreal.The manager needs to be aware of this. I saw a door to an office on the left was open, but he or she was not in there. Perhaps this is why the employees behave this way because management is gone?UPDATE:Actually Im not the same person as the other reviewer.I never stated I didnt want to do any business with you other than on this review so your excuse as to why your employees didnt get me the price is both dishonest and disingenuous, but hey, go figure at this point.I wouldnt, after the experience there do business with you, and will suggest to other builders to not use you in the future, especially now since youve made it a point to defend the bad and unprofessional behavior of your employees who call clients only to hang up on them and play coy.Thirdly, yes, I joked with your employs to get them to laugh. Plus their price was 900.00 less than your price for a similar doors. So your competitor, who is professional got the business. You should go there and learn how to talk to customers, they handled it perfectly.Anyhow, go ahead and get your last word in.

They installed two nice lift master belt drives on my existing garage doors. Super quiet now and they have nice digital readout openers on the wall. They were prompt and professional.

I moved into a home with an older garage door opening system. The previous owners did not leave me the code. I called them and they walked me through the reprogramming over the phone. I will definitely use this local company in the future.

Only reason 1 star - is cannot be ZERO like the staff. Went in to get a quote on new doors; instead of customer service to be helpful the first words out of the salesboys mouth ~ What is your budget?. That was my first experience there and will be the last. No tolerance - nor should the owner.

I had 2 very old garage doors replaced in February. They offered the best price I could find and they did a great job! Also, my garage has very little clearance for doors. The other companies I spoke with said, It was an issue and the ductwork would need to be moved etc. The doors were installed with no problems and are still working perfectly.

Excellent service. I called for a replacement spring (cheapest in the area that I could find) and the repairman ended up evaluating the entire system (installed by another company prior to my purchase of the home). He fixed a few issues with my garage door and oiled everything before leaving. He kept us informed throughout the entire process about what maintenance we can do. The garage door system works like it is a brand new installation. The company went out of the way to make it right. I will be using them again.Thank you.
