I had really high hopes when this place opened. Its like a Whole Foods with lots of interesting goods and a positive shopping experience. After today, I doubt Ill go back. I drove across town thinking a grocery of such high quality would care enough about its customers to enforce the mask mandate in a way that Walmart and Aldis dont. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case. There were at least 8 people, including an employee either completely without a mask or wearing it as a beard before I stopped counting. I mentioned at at the checkout counter, and the employee just shrugged. I told customer service, and she said they only try to enforce it with employees, not customers. They seem to care more about arranging the vegetables than preventing infectious disease. It honestly makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the store.
Ever since my wife took me here for the first time I get excited like a kid going to a candy store! Amazing selections on fresh foods, and foods that I cant find unless i travel the map. Staff is always friendly an helpful and polite!
Love this place!!! There deli is phenomenal, especially there in house cooked deli meats. They have a great selection of specialty type foods. Everyone is incredibly nice and cheerful.
The best grocery experience of my 50 year life. Remarkable concept. Beautiful space. Terrific selection. Top notch food. Abundant selection. Well merchandised & great displays done with humor & beauty. Such a clever concept. Every employee was over the top in their service & kindness & sincerity.I live 4 hours away & I’m jealous of everyone in Springfield who has this resource. The soup, salad bar, produce, ready fo go meals, meat counter….so fantastic. This place is the gold standard of retail grocery. If there was live acoustic music & cooking or floral demonstrations it would be heaven on earth. Please expand to Evansville Indiana.
So much to do and see. Tons of bulk items to sample and try. Really nice upstairs bar and grill ample seating outdoor patio. Service could have been a little more outgoing and attentive. We were one of the few customers when we were there instead of being more attentive its like they took the opportunity to do other stuff. The carnitas flatbread was really good.
A cashier man with a perm put our deviled😈 eggs🥚in the bag WILLY NILLY. when we got home the eggs were kerplunked and mixed together. They looked like my grandma on sunday before she gets ready for church. We were also not expecting the dilly blast of flavor to awaken and dislocate our stomachs. They DID NOT taste like deviled😈eggs🥚 My dog is hacking up a storm because she got a little nibblin. I am going to have to take her to the hospital. Thanks Harvest Market. do NOT buy the harvest market deviled😈eggs🥚.
This place has so much goodness!! They have a coffee counter, restaurant, they have a nook and bar upstairs, and a wonderful grocery store. This place is soooooo awesome!!! Whenever we go to Springfield, we always stop there and eat. They have awesome food.
I would recommend avoiding the meat department. Rude service, small selection, and store associate had little knowledge of the products. There are more knowledgeable associates and better selection at competing stores.
First visit ever and wow, I was impressed! Incredible deli selection, fresh produce, will return!
I am becoming friends with this location. Ive been inside for so long and this is one place for which I enjoy leaving the house. I love the turnover in fruits and vegetables for more exotic items. I also like the friendly service I get when looking for items. The automated line system helps keep down clutter.
They have a very nice bar/restaurant area there. They had a very good band that I see will be playing at the Illinois State Fair in August. Theres not that many people here because I think that not many people know about this because they just added this earlier in the year this bar at least.
They have interesting and fun sauces. Salad dressings, cheeses, produce, and meat! And if youre having company, the desserts are amazing!! I spent a lot of time looking at everything and had a great time!
Nice grocery store with a lot of local farm products. They also have a good selection of ready to eat food. There is a good made to order but I have not yet tried it
I love this grocery store, especially the fresh seafood. Prices are a bit steep on items however if you want to find unique things, i would recommend a visit!!
Fresh produce, great selection of foods including gluten free, plus PRIME meat! What could be better! Nothing.
Has a lot to share. Uses local produce.Has quite a variety of items not found in most groceries. Lots of cheeses and artisan breads. Great deli and meats. Live music on different days while you eat .
So much nicer than the other grocery stores in town. Better selection and much higher quality.
Got some beautiful locally grown corn on the cob and squash. Oh how I love fresh summer vegetables!
The quality of products is 2nd to none. Also everything is affordable.😁👌🏽
Store is great, lots of local & Midwest-made stuff.Dont bother with the Sunday brunch!! Food was just ok & very little variety!! Counter person was rude at the restaurant where I paid for brunch.
This store is amazing, and reminds me so much of Whole Foods !!!
New place to shop. Very clean inside. Employees helpful. Specialty items offered at a reasonable price. Want to try out their restaurant on next visit.
0/10 wine chillers worked great, but almost got trafficked 😕
Breakfast buffet left much to be desired, cold hard biscuits, burnt sausage, and bad coffee. Groceries are a little overpriced, and some of the employees are rude. Coffee bar manager was busy arguing with the gentleman playing music that day, and became upset arguing with me about the ingredients used and making excuses. I asked her to add syrup to my drink. I just wanted it sweeter, not to hear from the manager why their coffee I just purchased isnt good, so I shouldnt expect it to taste good...burnt espresso and ghirardelli white chocolate sauce thats meant for dessert, not coffee. It was bizarre. If youre expecting a Whole Foods experience, youll be disappointed. If youre looking for fancy expensive groceries, you may love this place.
Cathy L. in the deli totally made my day! I had 9 items I wanted. She dished each one up neatly and perfectly. She was very pleasant and helpful! *****5 stars!
Nothing special, higher prices than other stores in the area. Will stay with Schnucks. At least the same quality at a better price.
This place is nothing more than an overpriced facade ran by the most disrespectful, incompetent people Ive ever met. They dont care about anything from customer slip & fall to serving customers old molded food. Theres some things supervisors shouldnt put off until later. Yet, here they are. Smh. For a place called harvest market, youd think the least they could do is have fresh produce. Save your money.
Was nice. Good food at restaurant.
My husband really liked it. Prices arent too bad. Id like to go back in warmer weather. They have a place to eat and a patio on the second floor.
Went to Harvest Market for lunch. At the sandwich counter I ordered the signature cheeseburger with all the toppings. When the server brought it to the table, I lifted the top of the bun to add ketchup and saw that the bacon was burnt -- nothing but black char (the edges of the bun were also burnt). I told the server that the bacon was burnt and showed it to him. He replied that they used a special glaze that made it look burnt, but it wasnt., and then he walked away. I put on the ketchup and took a bite. The bacon was nothing but char, bi9tter and unpleasant. I removed the pi9eces and placed them on a napkin. When I bit into the cheeseburger, it was grossly overcooked, the edges were also burnt, as was the bottom half of the bun. Aside from the server lying to me about a supposed glaze, the cook should never have sent out the burnt burger on a burnt bun with burnt bacon. He or she cant cook worth a damn. Oh, and did I mention the fries were seasoned so heavily as also to be inedible? I regret only that I cant give a 0 rating for the worst eating place in Springfield serving the worst cheeseburger Ive ever tried to eat.
Love love love this place! Great selection of meats and seafood and great prices. I love coming here when I have no idea what to make for dinner
Very costly food items, selection is more specialize, yet items not found at other grocery stores such as duck pate & breaded veal patties. A place to visit for special items or occasions.
Great place to pickup lunch or dinner! The food was excellent and the prices were exceptional. The folks behind the counter were patient and courteous. Ill be going back for sure.
This is my new favorite grocery store! So many wonderful items.. fresh churned butter in various flavors, make your own nut butters, make your own orange juice, more types of honey than you could ever imagine! Many specialty items from different farms in Illinois. Fresh cannoli and many varieties of fresh macaroons. Lots of pre-made ready to eat foods and a huge salad bar, sushi bar, coffee bar and restaurant. Lots of hard to find gourmet items. Love it!
Great place, but not enough t organic vegetables
Nice store. Higher end than most. Pricey. Live the Illinois products are featured tho
I was disappointed to say the least. I thought it was more farm to table type of food store. IT IS NOT.The cashier was so rude. I had picked up some strawberries and when I got to the checkout they didn’t ring up.I said I think they are $4.50 she said“no, they are either 4 or 5 dollars, I think they are $5”We checked and THEY WERE $4.50!! It was only 50 cents but she was SO LAZY she didn’t bother to check, WE made the effort. She was snotty the rest of the time we stood there and watched as if I was going to take something. We also got 2 skillet meals that were open with a box cutter or something.Don’t waste your time or money on this place. I most definitely won’t be going back after the service and lack of care for their products.
Interesting and new brands, fresh churned butter and loads of precooked items. A neat experience and even sampled some items as well. A bit higher priced but worth the price to get local fresh items. Seafood area was amazing too. Definitely worth the time.
First time here and just wanted some fried chicken they, obviously wanted me to hurry up and were so rude to me when I thought the green beans were asparagus. Not a vibe😢
Nice new market, clean friendly staff and reasonable prices, will definitely return!
Wonderful store, tons of great products, great gift ideas, awesome place to get a meal of about any variety. Friendly staff, clean and fresh!
Farmhouse Restaurant saved our Thanksgiving! Due to an unfortunate incident on Thanksgiving morning we needed a last minute replacement turkey (of course, it IS 2020 after all!) Two gentlemen assisted me the minute I walked in (I wish I had their names to thank them properly). They were so pleasant, accommodating, and extremely helpful. I was quickly provided with a fully cooked turkey and sent on my way. The turkey was moist and delicious. I will be back to Farmhouse Restaurant and Harvest Market thanks to this excellent customer service!
Hit the jerky isle & grab a pack of Keifers Killer Jerky!! Sweet Peppered is the best!!
Wonderful selection. The staff are great!
Very nice store with a great bakery and good selection of organic food. Only problem I notice is the produce is not always fresh and they dont carry large quantity items. I like large packages of paper products or water etc.
Check out their produce department. Since they buy from local central Illinois farmers, they will have tasty, fresh, local produce. And check out the pumpkin display!
Stop by for breakfast the employees were standing in the back talking. They saw me but they refuse to wait on me.
New country-type remodeling. Clean. 2nd floor dining. Live music 6 to 9
Great produce selection, bulk items, bakery, and deli. The fresh squeezed juice was a huge plus and grinding my own peanut butter is something I have always preferred, so I will definitely use that frequently. I will be back to try out the restaurant for sure. I got confused and entered through the exit, and had to backtrack, but otherwise I had a great experience. Prices were very reasonable and there was a great selection of items.
Its the wealthy relative of county market. Allot of variety in brands, tons of fresh stuff, and the best meat department. Seriously, it was always a very good meat department but they actually improved it in selection and quality.
Gorgeous store. Lots of people available to help. Very friendly team. Lovely produce section. Fantastic meat section. Ill definitely be back.
The atmosphere in the store is very inviting. The food is always very fresh. The guys in the meat and seafood counters are excited about the product and make shopping a joy. Dinner if the grocery prices are a bit high, but the freshness of the rest of the products make it worth while.
The absolute best place to shop for food in Springfield!!!!!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone i know. Best Meat selection in Capital City!!
Best selection of seafood in town. Have crawfish and octopus, which no one else has. Hot food is good and the sushi is top notch and cheap. Freezer and cooler sections are kind of small and lack variety.
I was a little underwhelmed. The store was nice and so were the employees. The prices were pretty high on a lot of things and to be honest, I thought there would be way more vegan options, especially in the fresh food/take home area. There really wasnt much of anything you couldnt find elsewhere for cheaper. Hoping once they get established theyll get more.
They are the best! Their customer service is Amazing... Thank You! Yall need training courses for other businesses in Springfield. Period...
Great store, very clean and the staff is so friendly!
Welcoming environment, diverse selection, and customer service was helpful trying to find a product I was looking for.
Great butterscotch pecan cookies
I really like the deli for $7.99 dinner to go. Main dish with 2 sides. Go for the indulgent alfredo mac-n-cheese or a healthy choice of roasted brussel sprouts mixed with cranberries and other goodies.
Good selections, in a trendy facility at not too crazy of a price.
Love the fresh churn butter, honey butter is awesome!
Really big, not the best selection and the prices were higher as compared to others in town. The store is divided into different room like sections giving it a well appointed look. There were some deals but they appeared like they were designed to get me into the store. Did I mention how expensive it was? This will not be my regular store, and I doubt I will return anytime soon, but it is pretty, not easy to navigate. For the cost I was not impressed.
Very nice upscale grocery store. Lots of extras
I was on a time crunch so I will have to go back. Only went on produce and bakery side. It was beautiful
Loving this place. We grab a coffee that is reasonably priced and stroll around. Its a pleasant place with pleasant staff. We love the layout and look forward to grabbing a few essentials here.
Id recommend going for produce, they have lots of variety of cheeses, and some good meat deals. Would not recommend for day to day shopping. One bonus, the have baggers@
Went there today for the first time. Terrific selection and much more affordable than other “boutique “ stores ie Meijer, Hy-Ver etc.But what really stood out was the friendliness and helpful attitude of their staff. With what we have become used to at places like Walmart, this was a very welcome change. It is very obvious that management is familiar with customer service and has made it a cornerstone of their corporate culture. I will be returning very soon and will be a loyal customer!
Love the churned butter...different flavors...great addition to my recipes
Great produce section!! Very clean and sanitized store. And ad a fellow baker myself the bakery was amazing!! Got a fruit tarte, Expresso torte, and the mile high banana fosters cake!! Will be back again!
This place has everything but nothing when I need it. I have been there 3 times and every time they didnt have what I was looking for. Yawn, not going back, ever!
Nice store little pricey. HyVee has a better selection and is no more expensive.
Very pleased with store. Ate from deli...very good. Store is well stocked and easy to get around...nice selection.
Another good breakfast place. Try it, you might like it.
Excellent store with a great assortment of produce and meat. It is nice to have an upscale store added to the Springfield market.
Its nice, cool selection, lay out is nice but prices are a little high.
Good food, not cheap & poor service. Lots of better options available
PRODUCE DEPARTMENT IS AMAZING! 1000x better than the Fairhills store. Great selection of everything. Not a big fan of the backwards checkout (unload to the right instead of the left) but I will learn to adapt.
That is a great store. Excellent service. Hard to find items, they will have it.
Paul Thompson: shop elsewhere if you can’t afford harvest market. This store offers unique items that you cannot find in ordinary stores. Shop at Walmart.Signed: Just a “happy” harvest market shopper
I loooove this place. I wish I had more time to look around and come to the events they have there.
Clean, bright, pleasant surroundings and helpful and cheerful staff.
Have lots of fresh vegetables and the hot food is wonderful.
Nice selection of local products. Nice, clean store.
My husband and I had a little date night here. We purchased a bottle of wine from the grocery dept and took it and our dinner upstairs by the fireplace.Great experience.
It nice place and all but its a hyvee wannabe. One the floors are the same broken cracked title from County Market. None of employees greeted us there. This place is over priced. They have the same generic county market products. We all know this place is trying to get the people who live in rich parts of the area like Panther Creek and reserve. So the rich people dont feel uncomfortable being in a poor or common person store. I will give a plus of having more local made goods but I was expecting more.
Good place to have coffee ☕, 💕 the lunch and breakfast servings
Below is a review I wrote when the store first open. Today was a bit different. Everyone was great. I say some fruit flys and told a worker and he started look at it. Then came seafood. I didnt believe it. The first gentlemen noticed my longhorn logo and we talk about cws. It was great, then came the second guy. I think his name was Shane. I saw the walleye in the case and asked how would that fish be prepared. He said he did know. Matter of fact he didnt know how to prepare any of the fish. Okay...I then asked if I could see the walleye and he replied I will have to take it out of the case.. I said he did would like to see it out of the case. Its better for me. Well then came the hem haw. First the glove. Missed on his first try. Then he puts on one glove. Okay, he manages to get the filet but there was isnt paper on the scale. Okay put back the fish then with the gloved hand, which just handled it he fish, he gets paper and places it on the scale then the fish. Now I dont see a towel or anything cleaning wise but okay, I ask to see the cod and the same thing. The guy looks like he really doesnt like his job and was doing it quite poorly. Finally we got the fish but no one cleaned the scale. Im not a clean freak by any measure but I hope some one there is.Just so yall know. I hope some write a review that things are better. I do like the place. This is a grand place. It will be a place to go. Its more than a grocery store. Everyone should check this place out. Its a whole food, central market type of place.
Nice store! Huge selection of products! Lots of locally sourced products and organic vegetables. Has all your regular brands also and some you might not see in most stores.
I just now left the store without having my groceries as they do not have ride on cart for the disabled. I was very disappointed in them. Later, my daughter suggested the ride on carts could be by the exit door. There was no employee to ask near the entrance door.
Found some products could not find elsewhere. Large selection of cheeses and loved the lobster pot pie to take home!
Great unique food items along with staples. Macaroons, lobster pot pie, strawberry milk from an illinois dairy, fresh fruit, tender vegetables and unqiue ales just to name a few. Fresh salmon plain or i. 12 different marinades, you can get it cooked while you shop or take home as is. Friendly staff.
Found this great jelly there! Fires Up Strawberry Habanero Jelly. It goes great with everything we use it as a glaze on ribs delicious!
Very clean, nice layout and well lit. Wish there were more healthy options available including like protein bars and etc. Prices were decent as well. Would give then another shot.
If you are familiar with Hy Vee then you will certainly feel right at home here. The store had a very nice selection of fruits and vegetables and a very very nice meat case. We were there for a quick trip so didnt get to explore too much, but everything appeared very nice. The grocery side isnt too expansive but it appeared to have everything you would need.
The store is amazing! The food is amazing the employees are very nice restaurant is very good!
