These guys are phenomenal! If you need a tractor, mower, snow blower, or anything else worked on, this is the place to bring it. Great communication! Reasonable prices, and their work is flawless. Weve been very happy with them.

This place has wonderful customer service. Pricing is reasonable a wide variety of products. I stopped buying my tools for the yard work at the large box stores and only go here now!I love supporting a local business, especially ones that understands their products and customer service!

Disappointed to say you lost me as a customer. Virginia outdoor power equipment has been my go to for all my Stihl equipment but not anymore. Went in today for a kombi attachment and they refused to sell it to me. They had one in stock and said since they only had one I couldn’t buy it but they could order one for me that would be here in a week. They had to keep that one on the shelf so customers could look at it. What is the point in stocking an item if you are unwilling to sell it to a customer? Oh not to mention the sign on the front of the door that says they require masks but then none of the employees are wearing one. Haha I’ll find some place that wants my business. Very disappointed.

About this store I can say that it is very good 👍 and you can find almost all the equipment or they can order it for you, costumer service is excellent, the prices are a little higher than other retail stores but still worth for the costs of finding the right item, I highly recommend this place 👌

Never felt compelled to do this before but my experience with Virginia Outdoor Power Equipment to repair my lawnmower was one of worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. Overpriced, rude, unwilling to explain charges (actually hung up the phone when I called to inquire), said they called me when they didnt, etc. Would strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. From the reviews it appears Im not alone.

This is the most shady place that you can go, I purchased a power washer. I was informed that it comes with a warranty for 4 months and it barley worked for 4 days. When I went to go get it checked out they told me the engine was not covered. PLEASE PLEASE. try to stay away. Just stick to Home Depot much faster and more professional results.

I went in last week to order a chainsaw handle plug. I pointed to the plug on a similar saw, the employee ordered the part and when I went to pick it up I learned that he ordered the wrong one. He had already run my card and said “no refunds, no exceptions”. I now I have the wrong part for my saw. Not helpful. Please do not visit this shop. They are rude and incompetent.Update: Manager called and resolved the issue with a refund. Rating updated.

I cant say enough bad about Virginia Outdoor Power Equipment. I have purchased thousands of dollars of equipment and service over a few years, but I have finally had it. Long service delays (sometimes 6 weeks), poor quality repairs (maintenance not completed as agreed), and unwillingness to even me parts numbers to name a few. Then on a $25 part purchase (which they didnt deliver for about 3 weeks), they wont swap the part (it was the wrong part) because it is outside 30 days of purchase. If they are such a big Stihl dealer seems like it would be easy to swap a part? Instead, I am shopping for a dealership that treats customers with respect and fairness, and one that does basic work correctly. That sure isnt Virginia Outdoor Power.

Every time I come to get anything there’s never anything in stock and they have to order it; if I come to the store it’s because I need it right away otherwise I’d other online myself. To put the cherry on top came to get my stuff and is no where to be found so now I have to make another trip to the store tomorrow and hope they find my stuff.

If I didnt need them right then and there for the job, I would have passed. Luis at Springfield store is a good customer service representative with lots of knowledge!!

Saw all the negative reviews but I am a firm believer that companies deserve atleast a chance. I took that chance, it did not pay off.Brought it in, paid 40$ even tho the warranty was still in place. Held my trimmer for about 3 weeks, then to tell me that never received my documents. I sent this to then about 6 times. Finally I asked if could provide proof another way. The guy said he would let me know. Another week past nothing, I called back. He said he would cover it as a good will. I was shocked! He said my full $40 would be refunded. I was ready to write a few good reviews and tell people about my great experience....Continuing on the call very grateful, I offered to help however I could by providing either a hard copy of the receipt or my reference number. He said he would appreciate it, so I provided both. I then received a call 20 minutes later. The new verdict was that the part is covered but the labor was not...I asked what happened to the Goodwill?! He said he can no.longer offer it. I asked so it would have been better if didnt offer to help. He said “ya, unfortunately we cant do anything. And they would only cover the part and I would have to cover the rest.Shocked twice in one call, two completely different feelings.Partly my fault for saying something or offering to help but who goes back on their word? Especially as a business.Would not recommend them, your word is everything these day with businesses. If your word is not good neither can your business be.Best if luck, avoid if you can. Almost better off getting your of part and doing it yourself. So I wanted to wait to pick up my trimmer before I posted this. Fear “something else might be broken” costing more money. Here is the story: Went into the store, have them my info, the guy went to the back to get it. Stated I owed money, I said are you sure? He said yes, told him to recheck because that isnt what I was told on the phonr. He then said ya, your right you dont owe.I then looked at my receipt as I was told the whole upper shaft was replaced, it was no where to be seen on the receipt so I asked. They proceeded to tell me that it was and that you cant see the upper shaft replacement. Its internal.I told them thats not what I understand but either way I need a receipt that shows the part. Two of the people there told me it was replaced. I then proceeded to say I need it in writing because that was the when reason I brought it in.They then turned the story and said oh the shaft wasnt replaced. It was just reseated. In the end tried the trimmer out it worked for the first day. 2 days later same issue. I ended up changing the part myself and now it works like a champ.Long story short, dont go here. Its a was is time and money.

Shady repair work.Had my snow blower serviced last year and they didnt connect the choke pin so I couldnt use the blower after a snow storm last year. After they fixed it again this year they left the gas tank cover almost open and I had gas spilled in the car on my way back.
