Sold me a green works trimmer which was being faded out. They didn’t tell me. I should have known. Under warranty, they refused to service it. I had to go to Normal Il. Watch out what you buy there, they might discontinue the brand.

One star because there isnt a lower option.I got my snow blower back from Springfield Mower and Power Equipment today, along with a bag of parts.To be clear, it ran before they picked it up to “service it.” Now the carburetor is in pieces, and I need to find someone to put it back together for me. And I got to pay them $60.84 for the labor.On top of that, the mower they “serviced” for me over the winter cost me $349.06 to service, and they returned it with a flat tire and the deck is still not level.It seems like the only thing Springfield Mower and Power Equipment is good at, is taking my money.That won’t happen again.

Terrible experience here. I left my push mower for regular maintenance, and was told it would be ready in 2-3 days. I was in no hurry so I didnt think anything about it when I hadnt heard back from them for 10 days. Then I received a text saying that the mower was ready to be picked up. Three days later I went in. When I arrived to get it, the guy couldnt find the invoice at all, then when he did, he said they had put it aside because there was nothing that could be done to the mower. He said they werent able to get it started and that after performing a compression test, had decided that the engine was shot and that I would need a new mower. He then led me outside to the mower, proceeded to pull on the starter cord over and over, telling me it shouldnt be so easy to pull. I asked why someone hadnt called me to tell me that there was a problem during those 2 weeks my mower was there, and he waved his hand around pointing to the dozens of other mowers there and said they were too busy to call. He kept telling me if I took the mower to any place else they would tell me the same thing and saying he had the best reputation in town. So I loaded the mower back into my car and headed home with a non-working mower. Feeling like I had been jerked around, I discussed the situation with my father-in-law, who agreed to come look at the mower for me. And guess what? He put in a new spark plug (the shop had sent me home without one), added a little gas, and it started right up. Yes, the mower engine that was shot was now purring like a kitten, the very same day I had been told I needed to buy a new mower.Whether they were just too busy to fix it properly, have incompetent staff, or just plain like to take advantage of people who arent experts in the area of small engines/lawn equipment, I guess Ill never know. What I do know is that I will never step foot in their door again.

Terrible company. First time I gave them a power washer I never got it back. Second time I took in lawnmower never got all the pieces back. Both times I never received a call from company. I could go on and on but to keep it short this is a bad company.

Rude employees, guy acted like he didnt care. Wouldnt answer my questions. They didnt fix the broken weld I asked them to. They welded some other crack they found but I wouldnt call it a weld it was terrible. Charged $165 to replace a deck belt! Seriously!!

Worst experience I have ever had with automotive or lawn mower repair. Company came and picked up my rider on March 25, 2021. Didn’t hear from them for over a month. Called and was told by Adam it would be ready in Two days! One week later called on a Thursday and was told it would be back to me in two days, again. Never heard from them. Called MAY 11th. Said they would see what the holdup was. Texted me the morning of May 13 and said I owed $80 dollars and that they were dropping it off unfixed with no explanation. I called and was told about 1000.00 dollars would fix it. It took 7 WEEKS for this information to come forth. Even though it was running decent when they picked it up, it does not work now and wires are hanging out everywhere. Didn’t even have the guts to call me and tell me they weren’t going to fix it. Hope he enjoys his trip to Disneyland. Why did it take seven weeks and 4 telephone calls to you guys before you you looked at it and decided you didn’t want to fix it. And then you dumped it off in my driveway without even a text. As for the bad language, I’m sure your employees have heard the words g-d d—m before. You lost out on a lot of future business with my entire family and business associates.

There hand tool collection is huge kinda my go to and if hustler was a few thousand cheaper i wouldnt mind buying one there the same engine and hydros as many brands so your buying the design solely is how i see it

After three weeks of waiting and two failed attempts and two hundred dollars to fix a self propell issue. Tried to mow my lawn with my self propelled mower and the mower fell apart on the ground. Not a single bolt was tight. Was completely appalled at the lack of customer sympathy, respect, and safety for the customer. Never going to come back here again. Would advise against it.

I needed something better than my Cub for the hill at the new house. Went all over looking at different shops and mowers. I walked into Springfield Mowers and instantly loved the atmosphere. No BS. Just answers to my questions and recommended 2 Hustlers that would get the job done. Brian and Rob hooked me up with a great mower. I would recommend Springfield Mowers to anyone.

Felt the pricing was high and i still have the same issues with one of the two saws. The length of time was extensive for the repairs. They would not commit to repairing even though the equipment still exhibited the same issues.

Fantastic! Second to none! My tractor runs like a champ. I bought it three years ago with just 300 hours on the meter, thinking it was a pretty good unit. Now it has power like never before. The secret is out -- these guys are busy for a reason. Thanks!

Springfield mower may only be a few years old, but they bring a huge amount of experience. The owner, Rob Kalabus, runs a top notch business and I have always found he and his team to be highly ethical and full of integrity. Appreciate my dealings with them and trust what they tell me. They had my mower for nearly 3 weeks, when they finally delivered my mower it wouldn’t even start and thus had to return it a 2nd time. It only ran for 1 day after that. I was then told over the phone they would take it on a trade-in for a new mower, when I showed up in person they then said they couldn’t do that...! Will never do business with again!

When i visited the business i was told they could work on my tractor even though they recently stopped selling the line. I showed them a picture of the leak and the guy verified with his service tech they could fix it and it would be a 2-3 hour job. Prior to telling me he could work on it, i was told they stopped selling the tractor line because they couldnt get parts, but could fix mine. I was then told it could be up to three weeks before they could diagnose and call me back. I was scheduled to have it picked up early in AM around 8:30. Three phone calls later and three hours later the guy showed up to take the tractor. Nine days later i saw one of their salesman at the spring lawn and garden show and asked about the tractor. The guy said that they had called me and left a message, which they didnt. He them proceeded to tell me that we cant fix those tractors, but I should get a call on Monday. I called them Tuesday and was told again we cant fix those tractors, we cant get parts. I said I was confused since I was told that when I made the appointment that it could be fixed.He told me it would cost $80 to transport and $95 to look at it.This practice is very unethical. To tell a customer that they could fix equipment and charge $95 to tell me they cant. I had intended to buy a commercial zero turn mower but after the way I was treated I wont likely visit them again.

My aunt had her riding mower serviced which wasnt done correctly. Then tohad to have it fixed a second time . When they dropped it off they didnt call or leave a message and left it in her driveway with the keys in it. Horrible

After paying for repairs to the dealer where I purchased my Exmark mower and still having the same problem, I took it to Springfield Mowers...GREAT DECISION...the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was given a diagnosis and quote within 24hrs and they kept me informed of their progress through out the process. The repairs were completed sooner than they quoted and billed as estimated. Best of all, the mower runs as good as new. Bought a new saw there about a year ago. They do the maintenance on it. Get it back and take it to a job and it doesn’t work. Bought a spare saw to get me buy. Took my new saw there had to have a one year old saw completely rebuilt. Witch they said is common. Then had the spare saw in there to just get a tune up. New plugs and filters Ext. Take it to a job site a week later. Now it doesn’t start or run. Everything I take to them doesn’t run after pickup. Really frustrating, costing me money and time. Won’t be taking my equipment back there. Pretty sad when I own three stihl chainsaws, two stihl concrete saws, and a stihl trimmer.....
