I so appreciate how kind and friendly these people were! The young girl at the desk took time to find out how to correctly pronounce my first name, and the guy behind the wheel was patient and let us get out tarp spread and set up before he carefully loaded my truck. Went 4 times in 3 days for 2 scoops of Black Supreme each time. Product made my flower/tree beds look lovely! Will be back in the future (but would probably have delivered next time lol).

Mad river topsoil & mulch have officially lost my business it was Good a few years ago I used to bring brush here and able to do it for free now they want to charge me for bring it brush for them sorry good bye.

They delivered a crushed dust pile. They will only dump rock in a pile. If youre old or disabled prepare to hire workers. The driver was in such a hurry he was practically running back to the truck. Cant prove it but the small pile of rock and dust left doesnt look as much as I ordered. Ill try another company in the future.

They always have very top quality mulch at very good prices. Everytime I have had any delivered, it has been on time and the quantity I ordered. The employees are always very nice, kind and courteous. Ive been using them for many years and have never had a bad experience.

Great delivery driver. Called to let me know he was on his way. I ordered the garden mix and thats exactly what I got. The soil looks great - no rocks or regular dirt and very dark. I could see all the ingredients that is supposed to be in it (Compost and peat). Smelled like manure (which is a good thing). Very happy with the service and the company.

Before I left my house, I checked their website, that stated brush drop-off was free. When I got to Mad River Topsoil, theres a sign that stated There is now a fee for all dumping. Go to the office, it is now a $20 fee per load to drop off brush! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, I suggest finding another place for your topsoil needs. The place by me is closer and cheaper.

We have bought mulch from them for years and everything was fine. This year we bought five yards of mulch and they shorted us. When my husband called to question it, they didn’t care. We won’t purchase from here again.

Got in and out in a jiffy and the price was right

I called to see what hours they were open and to find out about mulch. I also asked if I could get rid of some tree branches and brush at the same time. The clerk told me yes but they charge $20.00 a load. I Read other reviews saying they got rid of the branches for free so which is it?

I have not purchased anything from here but they do take Bushes and tree limbs for free which has helped out allot. I had six giant bushes and a truck bed full of tree limbs they gladly took. Just drove to the back and dumped it where they told me to.

Topsoil had lots of sticks and big dirt clods. $ $25.00 for 1/2 yard you be the judge.

They told me that the driver would tailgate it out for me so all I would have to do is rake it out a bit but when the driver got there he said he couldnt use the chains because it would clog up due to the clumps. He offered a half ass solution of driving out from under it It was obvious to me, especially after having it spread out that there were no clumps and he was just being lazy.By the time he did that the gravel was piled high and now I will have to hire someone to spread it out with a shovel and wheel burrow. Thats going to cost an extra $60 which I handt counted on for the budget.They have a decent price from what I can tell compared top other places but dont expect to much in the way of service from the driver. The driver only wants to dump it as quickly as possible and go.

I purchased 6 yards of Garden Mix- Processed topsoil with peat moss, pine fines and sand added in the spring of 2015. What I received was mostly clay and gravel, no way this stuff was run through a 10mm screen as described on their website. I called and complained and the lady who took my information said someone from management would be contacting me about the product I received.No one ever called so I decided that I would put the soil in my raised beds but the soil was so poor that nothing wanted to grow in it.Now I am going to have to spend more money to add peat moss and sand etc. to try and amend this soil.I will not be using this company for the 10 yards of garden soil I plan to buy in spring of 2016!Do yourself a favor and Do NOT purchase garden soil from this company!!!
