Nice place, food good, but could have been warmer. They were busy, & another waitress may have helped. Had to wait a while for our food. Most likely, the football team, took time to take care of. Will go back.
Awesome Italian food. The wait gets long around 5:30, so show up early or prepare to wait 45 minutes. But....its worth the wait. Have a glass of wine or a local beer while you wait and enjoy the atmosphere! The Poppa is a spicy sausage dish I love!
I really love this location, where I went for dinner with my family last weekend, just as much as I did the location near Missouri State University, where I, as a student there, went by myself this February.Both the food and the atmosphere, at both locations, are really great. At first, you get a basket of Mediterranean-style bread with butter and garlic cloves, and the olive oil is excellent for an additional condiment.

Well, for the last time were going to complain about Bambinos in our house because this is the last time well do carry out. If you eat in, then you can get the mistakes fixed, but if it is carry out then your only recourse is to go back, which is literally where my husband is headed right now. We order from them at least once a month for years, and LITERALLY only one time was our order correct. Tonight, I ordered the angel hair with 3 meatballs with 1/2 red and 1/2 white. What I got was angel hair with red sauce and nothing else. Weve nicely called back and complained several times to no avail. The ONLY time they did NOT get it right was when I told the gal about the chronic mess and then asked for her name. I also asked her to personally check our order over prior to us picking it up. That night it was perfect! Well miss you Bambinos, unless we eat in.
We stopped for salads at 3:20 p.m.. as we walked in we were greeted and was told they were already closed. Hours online clearly show open til 4 p.m.I will not be back
I just did a to go order. Restaurant was very clean and outside of one hole in the wall pretty well maintained. It looks as if theyre feeling was recently painted. Im sure it would be as good as the other Bambinos location. Of these six different entries we got I would say its just as good but with much much better parking.
2021.09.30 The restaurant was clean and nice looking. The food and apps were delicious. I had the spinach artichoke dip, and the ziti. The portions were large. I was very happy and will eat here again.
My first time here, and the food is amazing. I got The Zia, asked for the lunch portion for $2 less (even though it was 7 pm--what an awesome option!), and the food was incredible. Just a big enough size to fill me up without feeling stuffed (I never know when to stop eating delicious food), the chicken was incredibly tender, and the provel cheese elevated the pasta to perfection. I cant wait to return and try something else

First it was a 10 min wait, fine. Then it was 20. We waited over FORTY minutes, just to sit. Totally not worth it. Just to be sure my meal wasnt also filled with incompetence I ordered something thats nearly impossible to screw up.If they wouldve said beforehand it was going to be 40 minutes I would have turned around.They made us late for a movie down the street, which locked the doors after the last showing starts. Cant get a refund for that. Thanks wasting an extra $40 of my night
We had The Greek and The Poppa. Very good Italian food. For a Saturday night, we waited about 20 minutes for a table, 20 minutes for food and it was worth the wait. We will be back again.
Great experience, food was wonderful. Wait time was really good. Staff friendly, its more a homestyle type of atmosphere. Noyhing fancy here just good food. So dont take a date there expecting a sexy time of it.

What a wonderful lunch we had. Baked Ziti was great and the pizza was fantastic. The kids had pizza and spaghetti and there was none left over. They loved it, too.
Place was clean, only waited 10 min. for table. Waitress was quick with drinks and bread. Food took forever to get to us. Daughters Alfredo was scorched and sons pizza the meat on it taste old. Mom was not thrilled with the pasta on hers but liked the crab cake. Need to step up food.

Whenever I come to town I always go to Bambino’s with family or friends. We went for an early dinner and the atmosphere was snotty and staff were rude. We had Theresa for a waitress and she was not personable at all and didn’t come check on us after bringing us bread and drinks. There were 8 employees standing around the front area at the bar! The waitress then brought our food out and knocked my niece in the head and chest with the bowl of pasta. No apologies and served with an attitude. The clothing of the staff seems to be inappropriate with crop shirts, short shorts with shirts longer than the shorts. Tacky and not classy. Dress code for staff would be more tasteful when dining. I’ve never been treated like this or felt so uncomfortable at Bambino’s than we all did today. I don’t know if I’ll return after this experience.

They are usually pretty great. The food is always good, and the location on Delmar has always had amazing service and friendly staff. However this location occasionally has service that leave something to be desired. There has been more than once that I have sat waiting for a table for 20 minutes or more when there were multiple empty tables that just weren’t being cleaned. Also when you get takeout, I have never had the staff be nice or friendly on a takeout order, instead they have always acted inconvenienced.

It was an extremely busy time when I went, so the wait was around 30 minutes and it was quite noisy. Its not always this way, however. And Ive never had a meal that wasnt delicious. Id recommend Bambinos on Battlefield to anyone looking for casual but good Italian. There are a few vegetarian options that are great as well.

We have loved Bambinos for years, but unfortunately had a bad experience recently. We were ordering out several times a month and tipping well on every order. Once they forgot the chicken on a Greek chicken salad. We called and they comped the meal. Ordered a few more times then it happened again. This time they accused us of trying to scam them. I even tipped them 4 dollars on this small take out order. Lost my business.
You cant get anything on this menu that doesnt taste good. Everything is a hit! ESPECIALLY the bruschetta appetizer!!!

My cousin Rod and his wife Vivian came in from Kansas City to be with the family during a difficult time. We went to Bambinos for lunch and were able to enjoy a GREAT meal with a GREAT staff! I was in around 7pm. Ordered the crab cakes and pasta. The food was very ok however our server girl was miserable! She must have made at least 7 trips after bringing our order to get things she kept forgetting and would roll her eyes when we had to remind her. Also it was not busy at all and I could not understand why it took over 40min to be seated. Not impressed. Also had to edit because I did not mention that it is very obvious that the crab meat is very cheap. Every bite had bones that I filled my napkins with. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST IT.
Tried calling to determine wait time, and I was hung up on 4 times by someone who obviously doesnt understand customer service. Not placed on hold or even graced with a greeting. Rude people.
Fantastic food and service. We stopped for lunch and I could barely put a dent in the pasta that I ordered. Probably because I ate too much bread drizzled in delicious olive oil and garlic before the meal.The take out box I took home of my pasta must have weighed 4 pounds. I ate that pasta for days and every time I got into it was amazing.I will be back for some other menu options. Everyone I was with loved their meals.

The food here has always been good. My family especially loves the Greek pasta. I love the ziti and they serve lovely bread before your meal. There is typically a wait (not long) but that is a sign of good food not slow service. They serve hot beverages in very large warm cups from the polish pottery shop next door. Very beautiful and it does keep the drink hot! There is a breakfast bistro attached and plenty of room if you need to reserve a space. Overall lovely.

They had only one vegan option. It may have been cooked skillfully but the recipe is not good. Flavorless and watered down. They gave me butter too, which I thought was funny on a vegan order. When I ate meat Bambinos was fine.. but its obviously a restaurant that doesnt support plant based diets. Which is sad considering the vibe.

Well, I’d love to speak of the food, but sadly I didn’t make it. I was told 30-40 minute wait. I understand a bit more time than estimated, but after an hour I asked if we were close. I was told we were third in line and it would be another 30-40 minutes.I understand having to wait, but given a timeframe to be an hour plus over what you were originally told is pretty silly man. We (my Wife and I) went there for dinner along time ago. Service was pore and the food tasted old. A friend of ours requested to go there for his birthday...I was in for a Surprise.The service was first class. Ya could see her smile even with her mask on. And the food tasted remarkable. And There wine selection...Wow enjoy we did.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Bambinos and are very impressed. They were gracious with our rescheduling due to COVID and had everything ready for us when we arrived. They food is DELICIOUS (would recommend the mushroom ravioli to all). The only negative is that we had to change the way we ordered but there was a year between so we totally get it. It was a good experience.
I like Bambino’s but I always feel like it could be just a bit better. Faster service, more depth of flavor, something to really wow.
Everything was awesome. We had to wait a bit to be seated but you can thank Covid for that. Serving size was good, food was good, prices were awesome! I can afford to take my 4 kiddos here and not want to dread the bill.

Not an authentic Italian food place. Dont order their spinach dip it has no consistency its pretty much soup. The pasta isnt worth ordering. Everything tasteless.

I went with my family to this restaurant for dinner. Our server, Lindsay, was very friendly and helpful. She took care of our needs very well. My kids loved their creamy pasta. My spouse and myself loved our whole grain pasta with a mix of endless vegetables. My spouse enjoyed the seasonal beer and the pizza was awesome. It tasted so good. The complimentary bread tasted wonderfully with olive oil and black pepper. To top it all, Tiramisu was mouth watering. It was gone within minutes. The price was quite reasonable and was hardly five minutes drive from our hotel.

The food smells, looks and taste great. I cant deny that. But the cleanliness of their kitchen, takes away all of that. I cant support a dirty nasty kitchen. I cant eat food where employees are in the back touching phones then cutting bread to be served with out proper safety attire. Again great food but as for as healthy concerns this is one meal Ill have to go without.
VEGTABLES are delicious especially the asparagus. The gluten free rotini is good. Service is excellent, friendly but busy on Friday.

ImI a fella that likes food and dont complain much. I wasnt impressed. Waitress spilled tea on me, no biggie, jeans are tough. Ordered ziti. The meat was scorched. Wife ordered fettichini with chicken. She got 5 bite sized pieces. Grandson got Mac and cheese. It had a chalky consistency.

When was the last time you were served a bowl of soup that literally glistened with droplets of butter? Or handed a small plate of roasted garlic with a decanter of olive oil to mop your freshly baked bread in? Oh my goodness, I simply feel in LOVE with Bambinos! Husbands pasta was perfectly al dente (not boiled to death as is the case with so many other Italian restaurants). My salad was a delight with a delicious DEFINITELY not out of a bottle dressing and a mix of lovely greens. The clam chowder was to die for and the bread - oh my! Service was practically perfect with smiling waitresses and staff, the portions were more than fair and the prices outstanding. We are now official Bambino Fans for Life. Thank you SO much for such a wonderful experience (made perfect by the outdoor dining).
Food was ok. No bad but not great. They were stingy on the vegetables. I got the spinach artichoke dip there was hardly any spinach, same with my main dish. Doubt I ever go back.
This place is great, it’s always clean and for the amount of customers they get in a day they handle it well. The servers are mostly college students and are very kind and helpful. outstanding service every time, and the food is homemade and delicious, don’t listen to the negative reviews. This is a small business and they do a fantastic job every time!!

Every time we go there is an issue and weve yet to be able to eat at this location. The first time the wait was 2 hours.....it really wasnt that busy. The second time they only accepted cash...and so forth.The other location however is amazeballs! Great quality in a city that is lacking in good quality italian!
Just ate here, idk who my server was but he was an older gentleman in a gray shirt. This was the best service of any restaurant Ive ever been to, very assertive. This day in age people act like someone owes them a tip, it goes both ways. Amazing service and the food was great, well be back.
