The guys in here are awesome! We got there kinda late and they didnt try and rush us out. Their knowledge of guns is top notch and they are hilarious. Just signed up for their concealed carry class and Im legit excited!

My visit here was awful. The staff made me feel like I was either intruding or criminal, and my questions were met with reluctance or indifference.This place apparently used to be pretty great, and the facilities are okay, but at least the two or three staff who were there when I visited are just awful.My visit was admittedly a month ago; those staff may no longer work there, but Im not going back.Edit for the reply I received: according to my search history, my visit was on August 25, 2020, and I visited around midday with my wife.

They seem to really find potential customers an inconvenience, not friendly, not helpful, wont be back.

I was a devoted member when it was range masters. I have frequented the range, but will have a hard time supporting them in the future. Kevin i believe is the manager, and or head gunsmith. I find him unhelpful everytime Ive talked to him. His attitude is either arrogant, or put off if you ask him a question. He acts like he is the fount of all knowledge, but withholds what knowledge he has. I am a veteran, so I know my way around a carbine. In my experiences if you dont share your knowledge, you really dont know anything.I then took it to shootology customs and Aaron took the trigger out and fixed the issue at no charge.

This place is amazing!!! Whether youre a seasoned veteran or brand new to firearms, the staff is happy to help. They treat you like an old friend right as you walk in the front door. They have definitely earned my business and they will earn yours too if you go there for your firearm and apparel needs!!

I LOVE this place. They are so patient with me and always willing to take the time and work with me. I have been around guns my whole life but never really been taught how to carry or properly hold the fire arm. Steve so graciously took the time to teach me even with his busy schedule, and still continues to work with me any time I am at the range. I would recommend this range to anyone. They are always so nice as well as knowledgeable. Make Rangemasters your first stop for any fire arms or questions :)

Really fun range. Bought a few guns from Chad. Recommend this place to anyone that is wanting to get the best price. Range has live action moving targets. And the prices are fair. Good selection on guns and accessories.

I am from Spokane, WA and went to the range in early April 17 with my brother n law to shoot in a competition. My brother n law lives in Springville. Range is very nice. Safety was stressed and all were very safe. Good organization of the match. Friendly staff and competitors. Look forward to visiting the range again when I am back in Utah

I went in there hoping to put a few rounds down range to keep my skills with my handgun up. I also was looking into buying another handgun to add to my collection. Right when I walked in the door, I was greeted with an unfriendly attitude, when I asked questions about certain firearms I got very quick very useless responses. I could not even call them answers because it did not help at all. Did not seem like they wanted me there at all. Then I went to use their range. $8 to use the range for an hour, not horrible. But then they told me the price of their ammunition. About $20 for a box of 50. This is the same ammunition that I can get for about $12 at another store. Absolute rip off. Seems like they are just out for your money. They did not care to answer my questions, and or overall rude for my entire visit. I would not recommend this range, or shop to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. I will not be surprised if they go out of business for how they treat their customers.

They were so friendly and understanding toward a novice gunman such as myself. It was super fun and low key. The prices were very affordable! I highly recommend this range!

Walked in and an unhappy older gentleman greeted us with only an ornery stare down for ten seconds before he continued to walk on by us to the counter. As I was describing an offer I had seen on Groupon he rudely cut me off and asked me what my question was. I wanted to turn around and walk right out but bit my lip. He told me to go home and print out the voucher and we left knowing there is no way in hell I would spend money in this place after being treated so poorly. Really if you hate your job or the public so bad maybe you should find a different career choice. I would not recommend this place (unless your one of this old mans good buddies) at all. Do not ask any questions if you go in unless you want to feel belittled because he will do a fine job of making you feel stupid. Im sure Im complaining about the same guy every other negative reviewer is so Im amazed he still works there. He was such a big dick that Im leaving my first ever online review and will never step foot in there again. Id also like to thank him for the fine experience he gave my son and making him feel so welcomed. NOT!!!!!Really get some help sir or change your website to disclose the poor treatment you offer customers

Ive been coming to Rangemasters now for a couple of years. The people there are great, especially Steve. They really know their stuff and always put the customer first. Their prices have always been well below MSRP too. The regular shooting lanes are great, but the real fun is on the tactical steel range. I highly recommend it.

Great Place to go shooting. plenty of range space and the shooting booths are wide. the staff is great and very helpful and friendly. they dont have a large inventory of firearms but they will order anything you want to purchase. theyve always given me a fair price.Steve is a great Gunsmith, Ive had him work on several of my firearms.from simple stuff like putting on night sights to drilling and tapping a receiver for a scope. he even got my Grandpas old .22 pistol put back together and working, not an easy feat when all i brought him was a bag of gun parts.i take all of my friends here and will continue to do so.

Range in good condition and clean. $8/person, which is average for the area. Cool store. Lots of AR15s in stock if you need one, apparently someone bought a bunch for the store in anticipation of Hillary Clinton winning the election. Tons of automatic guns for rent too, which I have got to try.

Good facilities with great people. Very fun bimonthly events as well.

Steve and his staff are among the best in the industry. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. I started shooting here as a college student and even as Ive moved away from the area, I have maintained my membership and I drive the extra distance to shoot and purchase firearms here. I do all of my transfers and gun purchases through them. They even walked me through my first Class 3 transfer and made it a pleasant experience. The floors in the range have been refinished and the tactical steel range is a blast. The service and value that they provide through an excellent customer experience is worth far more than the prices of membership, ammo, firearms, etc... Highly Recommended!

Been here a few times to shoot. The guys have always been friendly and helpful. The place is also clean and the ranges are nice. Im going to try and attend the fun shoots they have each month.

All they want is your money. Plain and simple. I went into range masters as a very open-minded customer. I told the owner that I was new to the gun world and was in the market to buy a shotgun. I asked him some basic questions about firearms. His responses were short and delivered with a stuck-up attitude. He made me feel stupid for asking my basic questions, rather than having a teachers mentality. (something every business owner should have. ESPECIALLY to a potential customer.) I wanted to use the range and asked him how much ammo would cost. Knowing that I had no idea what ammunition costs, he sold me 10 shotgun shells for $12. Yes, you read that right. 10 shells for 12 dollars. You could get FIFTY shells for that price at Gunnies. Bottom line, I will never go back to range masters. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

This is a bare bones range at a bare bones price. It is a little darker and older than the other ranges in the Orem/Provo area that I have been to. There is a distinct firearms smell and fog in the range that made me feel a bit worried about the ventilation and my health. I brought my own firearms and ammo, but their large targets cost about double other ranges. If youre in the area and own all your own gear $8 is a bargain. If youre new to firearms or want a clean/comfortable experience with lots of gun rentals available Id recommend you check out some other ranges in the area instead.

Steve, the owner, is an absolutely great guy. Very friendly, always willing to help out with any questions and very patient with people who dont know much and are trying to find a gun they like. Ive been going to Rangemasters for about four years now, even though its about 45 minutes from my house and there are closer ranges with handgun rentals. Steve has always been very fair with me, Ive bought guns from him, done transfers and Class 3 transfers through there as well, and hes even waived transfer fees for me sometimes. Hes certainly earned my trust and all my future purchases will go through him.

This are from visits in 2015- 2016. There is a older guy that works there, not friendly pretty ornery. Not happy, we were there to pay money to use the range. The old guy is one cantankerous dude. You ask him things and just has a terrible attitude. Is there a lane available? Not sure how this place can stay in business with terrible service. There selection of firearms is terrible very limited. they will order in guns for you. But I doubt their prices can compete with online prices. Why give loyalty to a place that does not appreciate your business. One of the times I have been there where the old guy was friendly to me. I guess it was because I had spent over $200 at the range. As far checking the place out you are not missing much. The range is very dated and old. The tactical range is cool, but has issues.Years ago when I went there they were the only indoor range. I thought there is no way this place can last and how are they staying in business. There are many ranges in Utah county now. i really do wonder about their profitability.

Being my first time at an indoor range, I really enjoyed the experience and I will surely be back. I went on a Saturday around 5pm and I was the only one there for about 30 mins, then when I left about 1 hour 15 mins in, there were 4 people shooting.You can shoot handguns and rifles. I brought my own targets and there was no pressure to use theirs at all. You pin your target up and use the automatic buttons to send it downrange as far as you want.My only small complaint is that it was very warm in the range with a heater blowing on my back the whole time. Also, for some it may be dark but this didnt bother me.For 10.00 it is definitely worth it.I read complaints online on some staff issues. Both guys working were very nice and courteous. They did say it was under new owners and were expanding products, guns, etc. Looking forward to going back.

Great range and very friendly and helpful staff. Steve is a very experienced gunsmith and offers a fair price for his services and an all-around great guy. I learned a lot here at the range and ended up getting my concealed license as well.

It cost $28 for 3 people to shoot, without a membership. We could use two different lanes. They have two high power rifle lanes, and 4-5 other handgun lanes. Its pretty clean. We went around 1pm on a Wed and there werent that many people there.

I cant say enough about these guys. Theyre knowledgeable, willing to help you out, and always have your best interest in mind. I have never had a bad experience with them. Check em out!

I had an overall good experience here. My main problem was the cost. The range was quite nice with plenty of room, but if I have to pay that much more for the comfort, I will happily continue to go to Discount Guns and Ammo in Provo.

I seem to have encountered the same old guy with the bad attitude. It has been about a year since my experience with him and it was the last time I set foot in the place. I live in Springville so it is a convenient location for me, but since that last experience I have found other places to shoot.If the place is under new management I may give it another chance for the convenience.I am giving 2 stars because previous experiences were decent. I also had a very good experience with a gun safety and ccw class there. But that was many years ago.

Excellent place to shoot. We used to have a subscription, but then they got sold and the place was empty for months. Maybe well check it out again someday.

Steve and Range Masters has been wonderful to work with and competitive with pricing. I have enjoyed many days shooting at their very clean and fun range. Its never too crowded and if you havent participated in their twice a month Fun Shoots you are missing out on a really great time shooting. Steves gun smithing skills are second to none, hes the only one I get my smithing from now, he has gone above and beyond with customer service and helping with firearm tweaks. Highly recommend Range Masters to anyone and especially to anyone in Utah County. -Daryl

Im really conflicted about this review since it is now under new management, but I had a bad enough experience that I think it warrants a poor rating.This rating is long overdue. I once paid over a hundred dollars here for a membership, which they lost record of. When I came to shoot a week after I paid, they wouldnt let me in. I didnt have a receipt to prove I had paid for the membership, but I did show the employee my bank statement with the deduction.The employee wouldnt accept my bank statement as proof and refused to review security footage to ascertain my claims that I had paid. He was extremely defensive and rude throughout the ordeal.I left and never went back. I could have pushed it harder I guess, but I really didnt want to shoot somewhere I didnt feel comfortable. I shoot to relax, and I cant relax knowing that someone like that employee is around.

I LOVE IT HERE!! Rangemasters is AMAZING and has an AMZAING staff. They are always soooo nice and patient every time I have been in. Steve is an exceptional owner and has always taken the time to answer my questions and make sure I understand the nuance of the fire arms and the different types of ammunition.

They are much farther away than a lot of other gun ranges from my house but with their great services and extensive knowledge its worth the trip every time.

Wont be going back here. The owner was a total jerk and blew us off with every question we asked, acted like it was a huge pain to trade out guns for us after wed paid for the unlimited gun rental while looking for a cc gun for me, and when we asked for his cc reccomendation, he said we didnt pay him enough for his opinion. Obviously a joke, but it fell pretty flat. We also had to change lanes 3 times before shooting since half of his crap doesnt work. Aint nobody for time for this place.

The range is always very clean. They maintain the lanes very well, the lanes that go down dont stay down for long. The fun shoots are, as the name suggests, very fun. When I have gone people have been very friendly. For indoor shooting in the Springville/Provo area, Rangemasters is the clear choice.

Steve is honest and knows what he is talking about. Highly recommended.

Love Rangemasters. I dont know who it is that is leaving the several 1 star reviews because I have never had anything bad to say about Steve the owner, and his storefront. Great little store with a lot of well priced quality gear. Anything from Completed Firearms to Dillon Reloading equipment. He knows what gear is quality and he stocks and sells it. To be completely honest most of their items are very frequently cheaper than you can find it online. I recently purchased a couple USED Dillon case gauges online on ebay at a good price of $20 each. two days later I noticed that Steve was selling the exact same gauges new for a few dollars cheaper. Should have known Excellent prices on firearms and accessories as well. Rangemasters is good to go Give them a shot.

There were two people working when we walked in. They completely ignored us. I walked over to this old man who clearly saw us and continued to talk. I stood there waiting for him to stop talking but when I realized that was not going to happen, I had to cut in and say Excuse me! He was sooo rude when talking to me. I told him I had a Groupon and he says that they no longer take them anymore and that I’d have to take it up with Groupon for a refund. No where on my groups does it say anything of the sort. We drove all the way from Draper to go to this shooting range, only to be turned away by a rude employee. I will never go back and I’ll make sure that everyone knows how horrible this place is.

Dropped my shotgun off for repair, they kept it for over a week and never called about it. When we showed up to ask about it, they said there was nothing wrong with it. Never even called to talk to us about it!When we showed them the actual problem, they said it would take over two weeks to repair it. Needless to say we’re taking the gun elsewhere for repairs.

The lady that attended me was very professional and answered all my questions. I was able to find a teacher and not a saleswoman or salesman.

Went on Friday, Jan 13 and the old chubby guy that works there that has very poor customer service and is very ornery. We said we saw a coupon for the place and he cut us off and said so whats the question in a very rude manner and very impolite. Didnt say a single word to us when we walked in till we had been there for a good minute and we said the first words. After he talked to us the way he did over us asking simple questions about a coupon so we could spend our money to come to his establishment, we turned around and went somewhere else. Doesnt deserve our money for his poor customer service, especially because im sure this is the same guy all the negative reviews are about. Businesses start at the front counter and this place needs major improvement there. Terrible environment and awful customer service
