I purchased an old 1980 Brunswick pool table from a friend a while ago and finally decided to have it assembled. I chose Take a Break to set it up for me and I’m glad I did. They quickly sourced the new felt and rails that I wanted. Garrett and Brinton showed up on time the date of the install and did an amazing job. It is an old, beat up table and was missing some hardware. Despite this, they were able to get replacement hardware and finish the install that day. The table plays perfectly. They were extremely meticulous in putting everything together and worked later than they planned to get it done that day. The price was very reasonable as well. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for billiards table services!

We had an excellent experience with Take a Break Spas and Billiards. We went in interested in getting a pool table but not fully sure if we were ready to purchase one. The service was great and Carlos answered all our questions, was patient with us while we made our decision, and helped us order the perfect table. The delivery and installation went well and we are enjoying our incredibly high quality, beautiful pool table. There are a lot of places that can deliver quality hot tubs but what makes these guys so great is their hospitality, customer service and desire to make things right by the customer. We bought our used spa from these guys because of their reviews and what was said stood true. They worked hard to make sure we were happy and followed up with us to make sure everything went smoothly for us once installed at home. We are happy as can be with our hot tub.

Russ is awesome! He was very helpful and kind. He gave us a great deal on a beautiful spa. Russ made sure the purchase and delivery went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. He was very honest and open. I had spoken to some other stores about swim spas (I live a few hours from Take a Break) and it seemed like pulling teeth to get a bottom line, so much nicer to work with Russ, he laid everything out. He also made sure we had an electrician (Pat) and I can’t say enough good things about him. Poor man had to work around our covid quarantine and still got things in place in time for the scheduled delivery.

Over the top customer service and we were kept informed at all stages. Russ worked with us even when my family came down with covid and we were the ones who had to delay setup and delivery. We could not be happier with our experience using take a break spas!! We live in southern Utah and called every spa store around and no one could get us the swim spa we wanted for at least a year wait. Finally out of desperation I decided to take a chance and try calling this company up north. Not only could they get me the spa I wanted in 4 months (it came a month earlier then they said even!!!) but they were cheeper for the same spa then the other place I got a bid from even with delivery so much further away! They were the most friendly and helpful company I talked to by far but also not pushy or high pressure at all. We worked with Russ and he kept us updated and informed the whole time! Delivery was seamless and the guys who delivered it knew what they were doing and were very professional. I would 100% recommend getting a hot tub or swim spa from Take A Break to everyone I know!!

The buying experience was about what we wanted not what they wanted to sell us which we really appreciated. It was a no pressure approach also appreciated and I like how Dave spent a lot of time with us talking about our best setup sweet spot between how to care for the tub, what experience we wanted, and the most cost effective maintenance. They really get that some people want to care for their stuff without spending a fortune in maintenance so Dave was he was great about helping us make the right filter and sanitization system based on what we wanted. Ultimately we are very happy with our Sundance Spa and with Take A Break. Dave and Russ did the delivery and setup and they were super friendly - the site was even cleaner when they left than when they got there. We had to leave before they were finished and we were 100% comfortable with them being there without us - they did a fantastic job. After sales support has also been great - eager to answer questions and they treat you like they want you as a lifelong customer. Would buy from them again!

We bought a hot tub from Take A Break and had a great experience with the purchase but also with customer service at both the store level and service level. Had we not had that experience I would not have gone to work for them when I saw a job posting. Yes, I now work for them. That says something because I would not work for a company that didnt have the highest level integrity, the same standard of integrity that I hold myself to. The high star google reviews that have been posted here are well earned, and I say that as a person that has seen this company from both sides; first as a customer and then as an employee. Having been around the block a few times and worked for a number of companies over the years, I have seen google reviews of all kinds. Great 5 star reviews that were accurate and well earned and some negative reviews that were less than fair or accurate with every company I have worked for. Without going into negative mode but embracing reality at the same time, in the past with other companies I have also seen 1 star reviews that were completely fabricated. It happens in a highly competitive world. That is why the average high star rating is a huge thing and why this company is rated as high as it is, because they have earned it. So if you want to be treated fairly and honestly, with staff that know their products, this is the place to shop.

It was fun and exciting going into their store. Lots of things to entertain ya. We bought a swim spa and I love it. I felt like Dave kept our needs in mind when choosing what to buy. We have found a leak when we first filled it. They had a service guy come out quickly. There is a crack in the filter so we are waiting for that to get fixed. So far they have seemed very good at helping with it.

These guys are awesome. We bought a swim spa from them and the process was seamless. They were friendly and helpful. My swim spa was delivered on Memorial day and once it was filled the owner came by my home that evening when he should have been at a bbq to get my spa start up completed. There were a few issues in the buying of a new hot tub the owners manual I got was for a totally different Hot tub line. Make sure you Do your research the elite spa I had The water level was up around your shoulders where the new hot tub the water level is below my chest. Take A Break Spa has been good to replace the owners manual and help with chemical issues.They have been an awesome company to work with they answer all questions. They always have been able to work on my old hot tub and took very good care of me the customer service was number one

So impressed with the customer service. We bought a used hot tub from my dad that he purchased from the west Jordan store. The Springville store set up the pick up and delivery for our house that was an hour away and they were awesome. Mike J. has been very helpful in explaining how it all works. A corner slat even came off during the move which wasn’t their fault, yet they still replaced it within an hour of me calling them. We will Definitely be going through them for all of our supplies and maybe even an upgrade in a few years.

They installed a pool table we’d purchased elsewhere. The installers were very nice, helpful, and tolerant of all our little boys flocking around to check out their work. Most impressively, they nailed getting our table level in a room that used to be a garage resulting in the floor sloping about an inch between the legs. I have had a good number of balls stubbornly hang on the lip of those downhill pockets, attesting to their great job.

We bought a Jacuzzi J470 from the West Jordan store. These guys are great...they helped us identify and get the perfect spa for our needs. They didnt have the one we wanted in stock so they arranged to have it delivered a couple weeks later and we could not be happier with the service. The Jacuzzi brand might be a bit more pricey than some others...but once you use it...you will see why. The technology, filtration, style, massage power, efficiency, etc...is great. We had some local competitors trashing them...lets just say, everything the competitor sales guys said about their product was not accurate. I highly recommend the Jacuzzi brand and the guys at Take A Break.

My Wife and I considered getting a Swim Spa in the Summer of 2016. As this is a pretty large investment, we did our homework and shopped all the Wasatch Front vendors as well as a Swim Spa sale at the South Towne Expo Center. We immediately leaned that the very best option was the one closest to our home.Ultimately, we moved forward with the purchase decision in September of 2016. Initially, I thought of writing a review a few weeks after we started using the Swim Spa, but thought I should really take a longer view of the post-sale experience. After one year of using the spa and receiving services from Take a Break, I am definitely able to share my very positive experience.Todd was my sales person, and he was great. He was informative, shared his personal experiences as well as the experiences of his customers and did not pressure us or manipulate us at all.Once we signed on the dotted-line, the process moving forward was explained to us and everything went just as planned. Todd came to my house to take measurements so the Spa was placed properly and that the crane placing the Spa in my backyard was right sized. This is a pretty big deal – A crane that is too small wouldn’t reach, and if you just pick the next-sized crane, you needlessly pay hundreds of dollars more than necessary. Thankfully, Todd’s measurements were right on.We were given a time for the project to start with the Crane and Take a Break installers and all parties were at the job-site early, set-up the spa and cleaned-up the work area when complete.Over the course of the last year, I have worked with numerous Sales people; all of whom were knowledgeable and very cordial. When I have had questions about chemicals, I was given easy to understand advice and able to choose products from a well-stocked inventory. You may be lucky enough to encounter Larry – He is a hoot!Our experience was not entirely without problems, and this is the main reason I chose to write this review. Any reasonable person should understand that despite a company’s best intentions, sometimes, things happen – It is how a person or company responds and makes corrective action that differentiates them from the rest. This is where Take a Break earned my business.I had a problem with some exercise equipment that came with the Swim Spa. The owner; David Johnson, immediately apologized and replaced the offending item without hesitation.Sometime later, I had a small issue requiring an on-site service call and a replacement part. David Owen, coordinated obtaining the necessary part, communicated his efforts to me and set a time for a technician to visit. The technician called before he arrived, was on-time and cleaned-up when complete.Take a Break proved to me they are serious about providing good products and after the sale support.My Wife, Kids and Grandchildren are very pleased and have used the Swim Spa for exercise and relaxation more than 300-days over the past year. We love it!As long as Take a Break continues to operate in this manner, they will enjoy continued success and have happy customers.

I called Mike at the Springville location when a pool table I had shipped from out of state arrived damaged. He stepped in, got some slate ordered for me, and had his team out to put it together. I was amazed at my experience with this company. They are helpful, friendly, and the salesman was not at all pushy. He listened to what I wanted and what I needed. Then helped me find the perfect hot tub for me. I was unable to afford a new one, but they have reconditioned spas. The used ones come with a 30 day warranty and you are able to exchange them within a year for an upgrade to a new spa without losing any money. All in all, a fantastic experience!

Brady and his team were phenomenal. I had found a pool table on the Internet that we fell in love with but had only found it at retailers on the east coast and west coast. I was thrilled when I stumbled across Take a Break and confirmed that they carried the table as well. The pricing was very competitive and the installers were very professional and courteous. Weve only had our table for a few weeks but our family loves it and our kids friends seem to love it too because theyre over here all the time (just like we like it). Went in looking for a 2 piece pool cue, just knowing enough about cue sticks to be dangerous. Ryan, very knowledgeable kid (everybodys a kid to me, Im 70) answered all of my silly questions without cracking a smile or a smirk. He even rolled 6 or 7 cues on a spa cover to show me all the sticks were straight. I walked out with a nice stick, case and chalk for under $200, learned something and had fun.

I decided to get a smoker and Dave recommended I go with Green Mountain Grills. I had originally looked at Traeger online, but after talking with Dave about the benefits of the GMG I settled on a Daniel Boone Prime WiFi unit. The grill has been awesome and I saved a ton of money over what the Traeger would have cost me. Fast forward 6 months and I’ve moved across the country. Unfortunately in the process the moving company damaged the grill, including the digital controller which caused the WiFi to stop working. Once you try that feature out you’ll realize how sad you’d be if you lost it! I called Dave about getting some replacement parts for what got broken, and we even talked to customer support at GMG who are now sending me a brand new controller under warranty (even though that’s clearly not a normal warranty claim). Oh, and the GMG guys responded to us within an hour...on a Sunday. I’m sold for life and would recommend GMG and Take-a-Break to anyone.
